The Next Day

You walked into combat class with Summer supporting you. Everyone saw you and offered help and said things ranging from, "Your a total badass" "Your actually a hero." You just waved them off saying it was nothing, and that you would do it again if you ever had to. After talking and maneuvering to your seat, the teacher, Glynda Goodwitch, came in.

Glynda: Alright students, take your seats.

Everyone went to their team seats, and Glynda noticed you.

Glynda: Mr.L/N, we were not expecting you for another 2 days, are you sure your ready to resume your daily activities?

Y/N: I'll be fine, I have Summer to help me.

Glynda: So be it, please refrain from straining yourself as well.

Y/N: I'll be careful, thank you Miss Goodwitch.

She nodded and class resumed once more. As you watched other students spar, you leaned down and rested your head on Summer's lap and she played with your (H/C) hair locks. You got comfortable and closed your eyes, allowing her to just fondle your head of hair.

Timeskip, Oobleck's class

Your were leaning your head on Summer's shoulder as Oobleck went on about how the White Fang is starting to take a turn for the worst. He was right, the White Fang did used to be a very peaceful organization, but since their new leader took over, they've seem to become more....hostile. After moving on from the topic, he brought an interesting question.

Oobleck: Now then, tell me all of you, why did you choose this line of work? There is no right or wrong answer, just the honest one. All of you will tell me, we'll start from the left side of the room and move on to the right. Begin.

Student after student went on to answer the question. Some more interesting than others. After Summer answered, it was your turn.

Oobleck: Mr.L/N, what is your reason for becoming a huntsman?

Instead of just answering right then and there, you began to try and get up on your own. You stumbled and almost fell out of your seat, but caught yourself on the desk. Summer tried to help you, but you raised your hand to signal her to stop. You hobbled down past Oobleck, and stared at the huge board in front of you. Everyone was intrigued on what you would say, and then you spoke.

Y/N: You'll have some painful, despair-ridden experiences. In fact, most of them will be tragic. But....we chose to walk this path.

Summer: Y/N?...

Y/N: We'll take on the dirty work. And change the world. After we finish, we can disappear.

Oobleck: Mr.L/N.

Y/N: You wanna know why I wanted to become a huntsman? I chose this path to protect those who couldn't protect themselves, those who can't fight, I'll fight for them. That's why my spirit is strong. Why I shout and yell. My sword, or armor isn't my weapon. It's my passion...my will and spirit to protect everyone...I would sacrifice myself it meant saving all of you.

Your aura began to swirl around you, and you felt your spirit coming out.

Y/N: That's why I joined. To protect the ones I love, and most of all, to protect the one I love most.

Your aura died down, and everyone was staring at you in awe. Then, one student stood up, and began to clap slowly. Then another....and another, and soon, the entire class erupted into applause and cheers. Summer rushed down to you and embraced you in a hug, which you returned immediately. Oobleck placed a hand on your shoulder and smiled.

Oobleck: I know I said there's no right or wrong choice, but that my dear boy, was a right answer. Well done, well done indeed.

Summer helped you back to your desk, and class resumed as usual.

Summer: Y/N.

Y/N: Yeah?

She leaned towards you and kissed your cheek making you blush.

Y/N Thoughts: She's the one for me.

With that, you continued your training as a huntsman, and swore to protect Summer with all your life.

Timeskip, Graduation

You and everyone else was dressed nicely, wearing caps and gowns as well, it was your final day as Huntsman and Huntresses in training.

???: Y/N!

You turned around and saw your girlfriend, Summer, running up to you.

Y/N: Hey cookie monster.

Summer: *giggles* I can't believe it, we finally made it.

Y/N: Yeah. This is definitely one of the days that I will never forget.

After a few minutes, Ozpin came up to the podium, and everyone took their seats and quieted down.

Ozpin: As you all know, this is your final day as huntsman and huntresses-in-training. And I want to let you all know that not only I, and the other staff here at Beacon Academy are proud of you, but also everyone else out in the world is proud of you as well. You will be heading into a world of danger, and let the Gods forbid that anything bad happens to any of my students. Today signifies that your training is complete, and I want to let you all know, that no matter what part of Remnant you are on, or what you believe, Beacon Academy will always be home for all of you.

Everyone began to clap and cheer for Ozpin's speech, and soon, Glynda started to announce names of teams one by one. Team after team went up to the stage to receive their diploma's, and then team STRQ was called. When they all received their diploma's from Professor Oobleck, they came into a group hug. Then finally...

Glynda: And last, but not the least, our first ever, one man, solo team to ever graduate from Beacon Academy, Mr. Y/N L/N.

The entire graduating class stood up from their seats and cheered as loud as they could and clapped even louder. You made your way up to the stage, but what surprised you was that you didn't get your diploma from Oobleck, or Port, or Goodwitch, or Peach...you got it from Professor Ozpin.

Ozpin: *Hands you diploma* I am very proud of you Y/N, you will change the world for the better, and I have no doubt about that.

Y/N: *Takes diploma* Thank you, Professor Ozpin.

Ozpin: No, it is I who should be thanking you, Y/N L/N.

Y/N: Could I make an announcement?

Ozpin: I don't see why not.

You approached the podium, and adjusted the mic.

Y/N: Today, it's our last day here. We've been through so much, all of us, good and bad. But look at us now, we're all here, we made it. Today is the day we finish our training, and I don't think there could be a happier day than this. Your all my family, and I want you to all know that I will be there for you no matter what. I don't want to waste anymore time, so I'll be quick. Summer Rose, please, come to the stage.

Summer walked up to the stage confused, and you took the mic off the stand and walked up to her, and took one hand into your free one.

Y/N: Summer, ever since I first came here, you've been nothing but good to me. You were always by my side, through better or worst. You never left me. No matter how annoying, or how stubborn I was, you never left. And I cannot thank you enough for everything that you have done in my life. I honestly think there wasn't a day ever during my time here, that we didn't spend time with one another. And I don't wanna stop. Which why, Summer Rose........

You got down on one knee slowly, and pulled out a small box from your back pocket, and opened it to reveal a ring with a red gem in the center, surrounded by diamonds.

Everyone: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summer began to tear up seeing what was about to happen.

Y/N:....Will you marry me?

Summer: *snifle* yes....*snifle* YES!!!

She jumped into your arms and kissed you as you got up, and spun her around while returning the kiss. Everyone was cheering and screaming as loud as they could, seeing you two together was all they ever wanted, and now, you two are engaged. Ozpin took the mic from you.

Ozpin: Thus concludes the graduation ceremony, now go, go and protect the world your fighting for my fellow huntsman and huntresses. And once more, congratulations to the soon to be newly wed couple, Y/N L/N, and Summer Rose.

Everyone erupted into cheers once more, and you and Summer walk down the stage and were surrounded by all your friends. You all talked and told everyone that they were invited to the wedding, and asked Tai to be your best man, Qrow, Ozpin, Oobleck, and Port to be your groomsmen, which they all happily said yes to. You and Summer were walking out towards a bullhead, and everyone was behind you screaming and cheering your names. You stopped and Summer stopped with you.

Summer: What's wrong?

You smirked and swept her off her feet, carrying her bridal style. You kissed her with love and passion in front of everyone.

Everyone: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You smirked and pulled back from the kiss to see Summer blushing madly. Then, you moved your gown around, and placed your hand on Incursio's Key, and began to run towards the edge of Beacon with Summer.

Tai: Wait...wait, wait WAIT! Y/N! SUMMER!

Y/N: INCURSIO!!!!!

You jumped off the edge with Summer and everyone ran towards the edge to look down. Then, just as they looked down, you flew up in front of them, holding Summer in your arms, while wearing your armor.

Everyone: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!

You began to fly all over the school with Summer in your arms, who snuggled into the crook of your neck as you flew around. Everyone below you was cheering your names, and clapping. After that, you flew off to start your new life, with the person you loved the most.

You walked into your home, flopped onto your couch.

???: Home already?

Y/N: *muffled by couch cushion* yeah, job was done, that's the 9th call today, and I'm beat, how was your day?

You raised your head from the cushion to look towards your wife, who came out of the kitchen, holding a small baby in her arms. The child was a girl who's hair was the same as her mothers. You walked up to her, and began to poke the baby's tummy.

Y/N: Hey Ruby, how you doing?

She giggles from getting tickled and smiles widely. You smiled seeing her, and looked up and kissed your wife.

Summer: *giggles* What was that for?

Y/N: For being the best wife and mother ever.

Summer: *giggles* Then this is for being the best husband and father ever.

She gave you a kiss back. You heard Ruby start to cry, and took her from Summer's arms and began to cradle her. She immediately stopped crying and began to mumble baby noises. You hugged and kissed her and Summer.

Y/N Thoughts: We'll be together forever, I promise.

You walked upstairs to go and tuck Ruby into her cradle, and went to yours and Summer's room, and fell asleep once more with the love of your life.
