The Next Morning

Y/N: Okay! Can we go now!?

Summer: Wait! Okay?!

Y/N: We don't have time!

Summer: There's always time!

You were currently in a women's clothes shop with Summer as she was looking through assortments of  undergarments.

Y/N: I don't feel comfortable here.

Summer: This one looks cute don't you think?

She held up a pair of black lacey panties that had red trimmings.

Y/N: Uhhh y-yeah *blushes and turns away*

Summer: *giggles* Okay, I'm done!

Y/N: Thank you!

You paid for the clothes and dropped your things off at the inn. You made your way to the trail and met the mayor on the way.

Michael: I wish you two a safe journey, you've been such a help to this place, I can't thank you enough.

Y/N: It's not a problem, I might actually come back with my daughter, it's such a nice place.

Summer: Ruby would love it here.

Michael: Alright, we've kept you long enough. Good luck.

Y/N: Thank you sir.

You and Summer waved goodbye as he waved back, and the two of you began your hike to Mountain Glenn. As you two were talking, Summer brought up a question you weren't expecting.

Summer: So, where were you during the time you had amnesia and went missing?

Y/N: Huh? O-Ohh, I was rescued and cared for by a nice village family.

Summer: What were they like?

Y/N: Who?

Summer: The people, the family, the village, tell me about it.

Y/N: Well, the family I was rescued by were very nice. The couple was extremely generous, sometimes too much, but they were caring. It's also where I met Emma, she's the daughter of the couple I stayed with.

Summer: Did you uhh, meet anyone there?

You looked to Summer and saw she had a blush, and smirked having an idea pop into your head.

Y/N: Well, what do you mean? I met plenty of people.

Summer: O-Ohh, well, did any stick out to you?

Y/N: Yeah, one of them did. I have to say, they were quite the keeper.

Summer: Th-They!?

Y/N: Yeah. They were cute, flirty, funny, I have to say, I sometimes wish I was there right now.

Summer: Y-You wouldn't!

Seeing her frustrated and jealous, you decide to end the fiasco.

Y/N: I so would. Jake and the other guys were a blast to hang out *snicker* with *breaks out into laughter*

Summer felt completely embarrassed finding out that you were missing with her, and turned red.

Summer: Y-You jerk! D-Don't laugh!

Y/N: *continues to laugh* Your face! It's priceless! *starts to tear up from laughter*

Summer: Hmph!

Summer crossed her arms and pouted, and walked ahead of you. You followed and after your laughter died down, you saw she was still upset.

Y/N: Awee come on cookie monster~ I was just kidding.

She ignored you and continued to look forward.

Y/N: Cookie monster~

You walked in front of her and turned so you would walk backwards facing her and gave her puppy eyes.

Y/N: I'm sorry, please forgive me~*puppy eyes intensify*

Summer: *closes eyes and pouts* That won't work Y/N.

Y/N: *Puppy eyes at max powers* Pwease~

Summer opened one eye and her heart dropped.

Summer's Thoughts: D-Don't! Give! In!........AHH I CAN'T!!

She pinched your cheeks and began to talk like she was talking to a baby.

Summer: Ohh I'm sowwy my sweet wittle baby~

She rubbed her cheek against yours and you both laughed before continuing along the path towards Mountain Glenn.

Timeskip

It was night now, and you and Summer set up a campfire and were leaned up against a log of wood, huddling together for warmth.

Y/N: The sky looks pretty at night. Especially the shattered moon.

Summer: Yeah..

She snuggled closer to you, and buried her face into the crook of your neck.

Summer: Y/N...

Y/N: Yeah honey?

Summer:....Have you ever thought about leaving..

Y/N: Leaving what?

Summer: You told us yourself that once we finish everything we could disappear. *looks up to you* Can't we disappear now? Us and Ruby, just go somewhere.

Y/N: You know I can't. And neither can Ruby, this is what she wanted.

Summer: I know, I just wanna live a normal life with you two, and live a happy life.

Y/N: We will once this is all over Summer. I promise. Get some rest, we need it for tomorrow.

Summer: Someone should keep watch.

Y/N: I will. Remember, I'm technically dead, so I don't need much rest.

Summer: Okay. I love you.

Y/N: I love you too.

Summer fell asleep in your arms as you looked to the fire and watched as the embers lifted into the air.

Y/N's Thoughts: A normal life...

You kissed the top of Summer's head, and kept an eye out in case any grimm tried to attack you both while you rested.

Timeskip

Summer stirred in her sleep and began to wake up. She felt the grass floor underneath her and looked to see you weren't there.

Summer: Y/N?

???: Over here!

She looked to see you come out of the woods with two large fish in hand.

Y/N: Sorry about that. I thought we could have some breakfast before we go.

You fixed the fish over the fire and began to eat with Summer.

Y/N: *while chewing* So, what was it like when I was gone?

Summer: *swallows food* It was tough. I searched all over for you. Raven and the others tried to stop me, saying that you were dead, but I couldn't bring myself to believe it. I had a feeling in my heart that you were alive, and I was right. You came back.

Y/N: I'm sorry for going missing. I just wanted to make sure everyone got back alive.

Summer: That's one of the reasons I love you. You always out everyone's safety before yourself. You always care, and you don't want anyone to get hurt.

Y/N: I don't, especially not MY cookie monster.

You gave Summer a kiss on the cheek, and she giggled, and the both of you continued to eat. Once you were finished, you put out the fire, and set off once more towards your destination. As you were making your way closer to the mountain you began to encounter more grimm along the way. Time after time, a group of beowulves would jump at you, or a pack of ursai would come out to try and eat you. You and Summer easily dealt with them, and continued forward. After sometime, you began to notice that there were old destroyed buildings around you, and that grimm began to come out every few minutes now.

Y/N: How close are we? We must be pretty close if all these grimm keep coming out.

Summer: Why don't we climb up this building? Get a look of what's around us.

You both began to scale the destroyed building, and what was in front of you shocked you, for you had reached Mountain Glenn.

Y/N: Wow, we made it in a day and a half?

Summer: This is great! We'll bring you back to life in no time!

You looked at Summer and saw she had a huge smile on her face. Her eyes gleamed with happiness at the thought of bringing you back. You kissed her cheek and wrapped your arms around her.

Y/N: We'll be a family again. I promise.

Summer: Come on! Lets go!

She began to drag you along, and the two of you were making your way towards the foot of the mountain. After you made it, you looked at the enormous piece of rock, and contemplated where the artifact would be.

Y/N: Where do you think it is?

Summer: If I had to guess, inside the mountain.

Y/N: *Sigh* I hate dark places.

Summer: *giggles* Why? Scared a monster's gonna get ya? *smirk*

Y/N: If you play a trick on me inside there, I swear I will never forgive you.

Summer: *giggles* I'm only joking babe. Come on!

She grabbed your hand and began to drag you up the mountain. After scaling the side of the huge pile of dirt and rock, you found an entrance to the mountain.

Y/N: Well, age before beauty.

Summer: WELL, this beauty won't be giving you any special "alone" time then when it's just us.*walks into cave*

Y/N: W-Wait! I was just kidding! Hey! Wait up!

You ran in after her, and after making a torch, you began to traverse the cavern. As you were making your way deeper inside, you looked up and saw crystals on the overhead. They shined bright and lit the entire way forward.

Summer: Wow..

Y/N: It's beautiful, but not as beautiful as you.

She kissed your cheek and you held her hand, intertwining your fingers with hers. You both continued forward until suddenly you tripped on a piece of rock you didn't see and fell over. When you collided with the wall, it caved in and you fell into the hole.

Summer: Y/N!

She took off after you and jumped into the hole. When she landed, there was water at the bottom and it was knee high, and dark.

Summer: Y/N! Where are you?!

You came up from the water coughing, and Summer rushed to your side.

Summer: Y/N! Are you okay?

Y/N: *coughs water* Yeah, just a little soaked. *cough*

Summer: Where are we?

Y/N: We must be in another cave. Look, there's light coming from there.

You both made your way to the light, and saw it was a giant open area. In front of you was a huge set of double doors.

Y/N: Well, if I wanted to hide an artifact, I would put it in there.

Summer: Come on, remember what they said, there are obstacles ahead of this. We better be ready.

Y/N: Yeah, lets go.

You both walked forward. And you opened the doors to reveal a large room inside. Just as you were about to step inside, a voice echoed through the room.

???: Who dares to enter my scared resting place!? Identify yourselves!!

Summer: Resting place?

Y/N: We mean no harm! We wish to attain the artifact that can bring back the dead!

???: Why should you be the one who claims my holy grail!?

Y/N: Because if you don't cough it up I'll take it from you.

The air inside began to swirl, and the sand and dust inside began to form a large creature of sorts.

???: I sense a familiar power within you, so you have returned with my brother. This shall be fun.

The figure finished forming, and a bright light shined forcing you to cover your eyes. Once it died down, you saw something that completely shocked you.

Summer: Y/N...is that..

Y/N: It can't be...

Standing in front of you was another tyrant-dragon, similar to Incursio.

Y/N: ....A tyrant-dragon?...

Tyrant-Dragon: Prove yourself human, for this, shall be the greatest battle of all time! *ROAAAAARRR!!!!!!*
