Timeskip, 3 Months

It's been three months since you had died and became a spirit guide for Ruby. You helped her train and become stronger to use the armor to it's fullest potential. Summer helped every as well, and since Emma took over your class, she had received training from her as well. Ruby grew stronger faster than you thought she would have, and was now able to last long amounts of time invisible. When you expected her to summon a spear, instead, she was able to bring forth a scythe that could cut through anything. You warned her that it would cut through aura's like butter, and to never use it against people unless she absolutely has to. Right now, you came out in your physical form, and summoned your armor to train with her.

Y/N: *summons spear from rose petals and points spear at Ruby* Ready?

Ruby: *Readies scythe* You know it.

Y/N: Here I come!

You charged at Ruby and began to attack her with swift strikes. Ruby blocked the strikes perfectly and pushed you back. She began an onslaught of strikes with her scythe, and you had to admit, it proved difficult to block her attacks. She leaped into the air and came down with a downward slash, but you blocked it, and kicked her in the gut, sending her over you.

Y/N: You were too open, come on Ruby.

Ruby got back up and charged at you, beginning another onslaught of attacks. You blocked another strike and became invisible. Ruby looked around trying to figure out where you went, but you kicked her in the back, knocking her away. You became visible again, and rested your spear on your shoulder.

Y/N: You weren't aware of your surroundings. You could have heard the dirt behind you moved.

Ruby got back up and charged straight forward in frustration.

Y/N: *sigh*

You clashed your spear with her scythe and she tried to push you back, but you held your ground.

Y/N: *sigh* If you keep fighting using your bare emotions, you won't last a second out there. *slashes and pushes Ruby away*

Your armor released and you walked towards Ruby who's armor also released, and she was tired.

Y/N: I know it's hard, but you gotta push through.

Ruby: I know, it's just I get so frustrated because I know I'm fighting recklessly, but I don't know what to do. Everything I try against you, you have the perfect counter to it.

Y/N: Your being too predictable. I'm telling you, change up your fighting style in a fight, and you'll catch your opponent by surprise, and get the jump on them.

Ruby: I'll try harder next time. *sad look*

Y/N: Hey, you think your struggling, but really, your become stronger every second of every day. So don't put yourself down, come on, lets head back to your dorm, I need to rest.

Ruby: Okay, I love you dad.

Y/N: Love you too sweetie.

You kissed the top of her head and faded back to rose petals and went back into Incursio's Key.

Y/N: *in Ruby's head* Night Ruby.

Ruby: Night.

Ruby went back to her dorm and saw everyone relaxing. Yang was on her bed looking at her scroll, Blake was reading on her bed, while Weiss was studying at the desk. Yang noticed her come in and jumped down.

Yang: Hey Rubes. How'd training go?

Ruby: *groans* Tiring. It takes a lot to use the armor's abilities, let alone the armor itself.

Yang: Well, I'm sure Uncle Y/N has your back. *pats Ruby's head*

Ruby: Yeah, he does.

Weiss: I still can't believe it, your father is now a part of you.

Blake: That is unheard of.

Ruby: Well, I'm gonna go to bed, night guys.

WBY: Night.

Ruby placed Incursio's Key on the wall and climbed into bed, instantly sleeping when her head hit the pillow. Meanwhile, Yang was staring at her, worried because she knows how much it hurt when you died.

Yang's Thoughts: Ruby...No matter what, there's always going to be people there for you, and I'll be with you every step of the way. I'll get stronger with you. Sleep tight little sis.

Timeskip, The Next Day

Team RWBY and JNPR were in the cafeteria eating breakfast when all of a sudden, Ruby got a call on her scroll from Ozpin.

Over the scroll

Ruby: Hello?

Ozpin: Ms.Rose, there is a new student arriving soon, and I am currently busy filling out his living arrangements, so could you please head over to the landing docks to fetch the fellow for me?

Ruby: Sure thing professor.

Ozpin: Thank you Ms.Rose.

He hung up and Ruby got up to head out.

Yang: Where you going sis?

Ruby: Ozpin wants me to meet with a new student and bring him to his office.

Weiss: What!? Why not me!?

Yang: Maybe meeting the ice queen isn't what the new guy is looking for.

Everyone laughed at Weiss's defeat, and Ruby left to meet with the new student.

Timeskip, Near The Landing Pads

Ruby was nearing the landing pads, but when she turned the corner, she bumped into someone, and fell on her bottom.

???: I'm terribly sorry Miss. I should've watched where I was going.

Ruby looked up, and saw a boy who had blue hair, was wearing a blue jacket with a black shirt under, black jeans, and black and blue shoes. He also had blue eyes, and a necklace with an anchor. She saw he was extending his hand to help her up, and she took it.

Ruby: It's alright.

???: Can you help me out?

Ruby: Sure! What do you need?

???: I'm looking for professor Ozpin's office, could you point me to the right direction?

Ruby: Ohh! Your the new student aren't you?

???: Yeah, I am.

Ruby: He just sent me to get you, I'm Ruby! Ruby Rose!

???: Well, your pretty excited, I'm Wave.

Ruby: Come on, I'll take you there!

Ruby began to drag him off to Ozpin's office.

Timeskip, After the meeting with Ozpin

Ruby and Wave were now outside the tower, and Ruby was excited to be the one who would be giving Wave a tour of Beacon.

Ruby: Wow, I can't believe it, your a solo team!

Wave: Yeah it's pretty cool, and if you could, I would like to get to know you better before we continue the rest of the tour.

Ruby: Okay, what do you want to know?

Wave: Hmmm, what's your favorite thing to eat?

Ruby: Ohh! Cookies!

Wave: Your joking, those are my favorite also! 

Ruby: I think we're gonna get along smoothly. *notices sword on hip* Hey, is that your weapon?

Wave: Haha, I think so too,and yes it is. *unsheathes weapon*

Wave: It's called Grand Chariot. 

Ruby: Oooo, what's it do?

Wave: Haha, you'll have to wait and see at my initiation.

Ruby: Hmph! *pouts cutely*

Wave: Haha, now then, shall we start this tour? *pats Ruby's head and stretches arm out for her*

Ruby: *Blushes and interlocks arm with his* Y-Yeah, lets.

Timeskip, Edge of Beacon

Ruby and Wave were sat at the edge of Beacon, tired from the tour they took. Ruby and Wave were talking and laughing about many things. They hadn't even realized that it was sunset. Whilst laughing, Ruby's hand accidentally made it's way on top of Wave's hand. After they stopped, they both looked down, and when they saw their hands, they blushed and looked at each other.

Ruby: U-Uhmmm, s-s-sorr-

Wave: N-No, it's f-fine. *idea* Hey, wanna head to the bakery down in Vale?

Ruby: Huh? But, there's no bullheads going out right now. 

Wave: Ruby, trust me.

She stared into those blue eyes, and got lost for a second before snapping out of it.

Ruby: Okay.

Wave: Hang on. *smirks*

Ruby: Hang on? To whaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Out of no where, Wave grabbed her and leaped off the edge of Beacon. Ruby closed her eyes, and Wave was smiling. Ruby cracked open one eye, and saw Wave smiling.

Wave: This is where the fun begins!

He looked forward, and gripped the hilt of his sword with one hand.

Wave: GRAND CHARIOT!!

All of a sudden, Wave was encased in a suit of armor that looked like Ruby's Incursio.

Quick A/N: A lttile bit of what Wave looks like, and his armor if you don't know what it looks like. 

Ruby was shocked, but snapped out of it when she heard you.

Y/N: *In Ruby's head* Ruby, show him what you got.

Ruby's Thoughts: You read my mind dad.

All of a sudden, Ruby pushed Wave away, and was free falling.

Wave: Ruby!

Ruby grabbed her scythe, and the gem sparkled.

Ruby: Hmph *smirks* INCURSIO!!

Her armor appeared, and she began to fly around like Wave. He was completely shocked when he saw that she had the armor that his was based on. She flew next to him.

Ruby: Try to keep up! Hahaha!!! *flies away*

Wave: Ohh, your on! *chases Ruby*

The two flew for about ten minutes, doing fun maneuvers and tricks with each other. After they were done, they landed in an alley way by the bakery and released their armor.

Wave: You have an Imperial Arms as well?

Ruby: Yup! I'm surprised you have one too. I thought Incursio was the only one.

Wave: Well, we can talk about that later, I'm dying to get some cookies.

Ruby: Me too.

They both walked around the corner and walked in the bakery, the same bakery you took Summer to the first day you met.

Wave: Choose which ever, on me.

Ruby: Hmmmm....

She examined the display of cookies, and finally decided what she wanted.

Ruby: Can I get a box of half a dozen chocolate chip cookies, and half a dozen strawberry cookies?

Baker: Coming right up.

She loaded the box of cookies and handed it to them.

Baker: That'll be 120 lien.

Wave handed her the lien, and they left the bakery and saw it was night time. Ruby yawned and rubbed her eye with one hand. Seeing this, Wave picked her up bridal style and Ruby blushed madly.

Wave: Get some shut eye while I fly us back. Don't worry, I don't mind.

She nodded sheepishly and then when he summoned his armor, they took off. Ruby's eyes grew tired, and soon, she leaned on his chest and fell asleep. Wave brought her back, and carried her all the way to her room. Once there, he lightly shook her awake, and she looked up at him.

Ruby: Hey. *smiles*

Wave: Hey. *smiles back* We're at your dorm now.

Ruby: Ohh, thanks.

She got down, and turned to him.

Wave: Thanks for showing me around. 

Ruby: No, thank you for spending the day with me. I really had fun.

Wave: O-Ohh, well if you uhh, want, we could ummm, do it  again? Sometime?   

Ruby: *Nods and smiles* Yeah.

Wave: *smiles back* Well, I'll leave you to it, goodnight.

Ruby: Goodnight.

Wave began to walk back to his dorm, but stopped to turn and look back. He saw Ruby still looking at him and she smiled, which he returned. After that, Ruby walked into her dorm, and Wave left to his.

In Team RWBY's dorm

Ruby walked in and leaned against the door, and her team mates noticed her.

Yang: Ruby? It's late, what happened?

Ruby: Ohhh~ Nothing~...

Weiss: Are you alright?

Ruby: Yeah..

She looked at the box of cookies, and began to remember her moments that she enjoyed spending with Wave. She smiled and held the box closer.

Ruby: Just had some fun is all *smiles*

With that, Ruby and her team went to sleep, but you were awake in her mind.

Y/N's Thoughts: I'm getting a lot of deja vu. How did this happen twice in a row? Ohh well, that boy better treat her right, or else he'll be dealing with me. Heh, that's funny, it seems history has just repeated itself.
