The Next Morning

After packing up all the things you needed for the trip, you limped your way to the front desk, while Summer walked in front of you with a smile on her face. When you both reached the front, you saw Elizabeth at the front desk.

Summer: Good morning! *smiles brightly*

Elizabeth: Good mor- ohh my gosh are you okay?!

She saw that your clothes were slightly torn, and you had bed hair, and you were limping.

Y/N: *weak tone* Never better...

Summer: Anyways, we'll be back in a few days, so if you could hold the room for us, that would be really appreciated.

Elizabeth: Of course we can, all you have to do is leave your last name with us, and we'll lock the room for you.

Summer: Thank you! Ohh, and by the way...

She leaned closer to whisper into her ear.

Summer: *Whispers* If you ever flirt with my man again, you won't see the light of day...*stares with yandere eyes*

Elizabeth: Y-Y-Y-Y-Yes, m-m-m-ma'am...*shrinks in fear*

Sumer: Great! Come on honey! 

She dragged you off, leaving a scared Elizabeth behind. The two of you exited the inn and began to walk around trying to find the mayor so he could show you the way to the trail. While walking, you got somewhat thirsty, and saw a little shop that was giving out ice cold drinks.

Y/N: Hey, I'm gonna get something to drink, want anything?

Summer: Just water is okay dear.

You walked away as Summer leaned up against a wall and began to look up at the beautiful blue sky. As she was admiring the view, it was interrupted when someone called out to her.

???: Whoahohoho! Look at this fine thing here fellas. 

She turned her head to see three men admiring her from a few feet away. 

Male 1: Hey beautiful, how you doing? 

Summer: Ummm, I'm sorry, but I'm married.

Male 2: Come on, tying down aint no fun, come hang with us, we'll show ya a good time.

The three approached her and surrounded her.

Summer: Please, you better go before you get hurt.

Male 3: You hurt us? Haha, please. 

Summer: I never said anything about me doing it.

The one in front of her felt someone tap his shoulder, and when he turned around, he was met with a punch that knocked two teeth out. The other two saw you were the one who did it.

Y/N: *glares* Stay away from my wife.

He punched the one on his left in the gut, then the one on his right received a hard kick to the face, breaking his nose. You stared at them on the ground, then looked at Summer, who had a smile on her face.

Summer: Awww, you do care!

Y/N: No one touches my cookie monster. *smirks and wraps arm around her waist*

You handed her water over and you walked around until you bumped into the mayor.

Michael: Ohh, I was just looking for you! Sorry if I made you wait, the wife had me drop the kids off at school, and I had to deal with another matter.

Y/N: It's quite alright, if you could show us to the trail, we'd be more than thankful.

Michael: Right, follow me please.

You followed him to the trail, and just before you were about to part ways a bell was heard clanging repeatedly.

Y/N: What is that?

Michael: Ohh no, incoming grimm.

???: GRIMM APPROACHING FROM THE SOUTH!

Michael: Evacuate all the civilians and get all the men who can fight armed with weapons!

Y/N: We'll help also.

Summer: Yeah. *brings out Summer Slammer*

Michael: If you could hold them off long enough for us to get all the women and children to safety, we'll have a better chance of saving everyone.

Y/N: Right, lets go Summer.

She nodded and you both headed towards the huge army of grimm that was approaching the town.

Y/N: *looks at wrist band* Well, here goes nothing.

You raised your fist into the air, and the gem shined bright.

Y/N: INCURSIO!!

Your armor appeared and you summoned your spear forward.

Y/N: You ready?

Summer: You know it.

As you watched the army of grimm approach, you saw something that angered you slightly. It was another grimm tamer.

Y/N: Summer, be careful, you see that one in front of them, the one with blue eyes?

Summer: Yeah?

Y/N: He's controlling this army of grimm. It's smarter than it looks, leave that one to me.

Summer: Are you sure?

Y/N: Yes, now, take the pack on the left, and I got the right.

She nodded, and slowly, the two of you split up slowly. You faced the large amount of grimm on the right, and slowly, alpha's and major's were circling around you. One of the alpha's leaped towards you, but you jumped and impaled it with your spear, then threw it at the grimm next to you. You began to fight and slaughter all the grimm that came at you. One by one, they all fell, and you looked over to Summer who was handling business beautifully. She looked as if she was dancing, slashing down a beowulf in half, then twirling around, and stabbing an ursa in the face. She jumped up avoiding a creep at her feet, and unhooked her scythe from the dead ursa, and kicked it towards the creep. After that she cut up three beowulves that tried to sneak up on her. You were too busy at looking at your amazing wife, that you were knocked back by an ursa. Summer saw this and got really...REALLY mad.

Summer: DON'T TOUCH MY HUSBAND!! *Eyes shine bright white*

She slashed the air, and sent a huge wave of energy through almost 40 grimm, and behind them, the forest was also almost cut in half. You stared in awe, as you had never seen Summer use such power.

Y/N: Whoa babe, didn't know you had it in you.

Summer: Heh, if you liked that, then watch this honey.

You watched as she grew a pair of giant white wings, and flew up, before flying through the grimm, slicing them in half as she goes. After some time, she stopped and landed next to you. Her eyes stopped glowing and she almost fell over, but you caught her.

Y/N: You okay?

Summer: Yeah, just takes a lot out of me. 

Y/N: Why don't you head back to the town and get reinforcements, I'll hold them a bit longer, and fall back to lead them into the trap, where all the townsmen will fire at them. Sound like a plan?

Summer: Yeah, but you better come back this time.

Y/N: I promise.

Summer left, and you turned back to face the army of grimm. 

Y/N: Alright gents-

As soon as you said that, you heard a lot of mean sounding growls.

Y/N: Okayyyyy, ladies, gents *readies spear* lets dance!

You dove into the hoard of grimm, spinning in circles, cutting them in half. You then began to strike and cut down many others in a series of brutal slashes. After cutting down hundreds of grimm, a high pitched scream filled the air, and made you cover your ears. The grimm back away from you, and you saw the grimm tamer form in front of you.

Y/N: So, you want a go at me then is that it?

It hissed at you, and you saw it form a scythe in it's hand.

Y/N: Hmmm, now you look more like a reaper more than a grimm.

It hissed again, and lunged at you, clashing it's weapon with your own. You and the grimm began to trade blow after blow, and the grimm watched intently. You were surprised at how the grimm was able to keep up with your attacks, and it slashed you a few feet away.

Y/N: *Pant* Well *Pant* you certainly pack more of a punch than the one I fought before. But I still beat him. HYAA!!!!!

You lunged at him, and clashed with his  scythe and the force of the impact caused the ground underneath him to crack. You kicked his mid-section, and knocked his weapon out of his hand, and it turned to dust.

Y/N: But I've learned from my mistakes. *points spear towards grimm tamer*

It hissed at you and it's hands were surrounded by black dust. It began to swirl wildly, until it came to a stop, and it showed he grew giant claws on his fingers.

Y/N: Well that's new, and really disgusting. You should really trim those nails.

It lunged at you, attempting to pierce your heart, but you moved out of the way, and kicked it down. You were about to smash its head in until it turned into dust, and your weapon went right through it, and pierced the ground. It floated up and reformed back to a physical form before knocking you away with its claw. You regained your footing, and looked forward to the army of grimm.

Y/N's Thoughts: Okay, I think I've bought enough time.

You released your armor, and began to run away. The grimm tamer ordered the rest of the grimm to chase after you, and you began to near the town with all of them behind you.

Y/N's Thoughts: Summer, you better be here!

You ran as fast as you could, and once you reached the choke point, you entered and saw hundreds of people armed with REALLY big guns. It actually shocked you. You saw Summer with probably the largest one among them, and she was aimed straight for you.

Summer: FIRE!!!!!

Y/N: *Feminine scream* AAAHHH!!! *Ducks*

You slid to the ground and covered your head as a series of rockets and bullets whizzed over your head. The massive army of grimm was being mowed down, and began to disperse to try and survive. This went on for 3 minutes, 3 minutes of holy fire, and you were caught in the middle of it. After the firing stopped, everyone saw the grimm corpses turning to ash, and the remaining grimm running into the forest.

Man: We did it!

Everyone: YEAH!!!!!!

Everyone began to cheer, and congratulate each other while you were on the ground panting from the experience. Summer ran up to you with a big smile.

Summer: Y/N! DID YOU SEE ME ON THE CANNON!? THAT WAS SO AWE-

She was cut off when you flicked her forehead, and looked at you while holding the spot you struck her.

Y/N: Look at what you did............*points to burned piece of head* YOU ALMOST GOT ME SUMMER!!

Summer: W-What are you yelling at me for!? How do you know I did it?!

Y/N: You were aimed right at me!!

Summer: You don't know that!

Y/N: You smirked when you saw me in your sights!!

Summer: And just when I was about to say you did a good job there!1

Y/N: Damn right I did a good job! Better than you!

Summer: What!?

Everyone watched and laughed seeing the two of you argue. You heard this, and couldn't help but laugh yourself.

Summer: What's so funny-

You cut her off once more by pulling her to you, and pressing your lips against hers. Everyone cheered at your boldness, and when you pulled away, she had a blush.

Summer: W-W-W-Wha..

Y/N: *chuckle* Your cute when you stutter cookie monster.

You kissed her again, and she melted into it, and wrapped her arms around you. After that, you helped repair whatever got destroyed on the perimeter of the town, and stayed one more night, just to make sure that there was no sudden grimm attack again.
