Timeskip, 5 Years, with Ruby

Ruby and Yang were at the landing pads waiting to board the giant airship that would take them to Beacon. Right now, they were saying their goodbye's to Summer, Raven, Tai, and Qrow. Ruby doesn't know about her real father, but Yang does, and to make something up, they told her that Tai was Ruby's father. Summer still hadn't given up on you, but she had stopped searching due to Tai and Qrow forcing her to stop, but she still believes, and still waits everyday, waiting for you to walk through the door.

Summer: I'm so proud of you sweetie! *hugs Ruby tightly*

Ruby: M-Mom...can't...breathe!..

Summer: Ohh, sorry.

Tai: We're proud of both of you. Remember to train hard.

Yang: We will.

They both boarded the airship and turned back to their family.

Ruby/Yang: Bye!

The airship door began to close, but someone with blonde hair was rushing to the doors.

???: Wait!

She jumped through the doors just before they closed.

???: Phew! I made it. Ohh, hello.

Yang: Uhhh, hi?

???: First years right?

Ruby: Yes, ma'am. Who are you?

Emma: My name's Emma, and I'm a graduate from Beacon.

Ruby: Your a huntress!?

Emma: That I am!

Ruby: Ahh!! This is so cool!

Yang: Wait, why are you here?

Emma: I help out my brother with his classes, he's a teacher and this year he's teaching only first year students. So he asked me to help him out.

Yang: Ohh, cool.

Emma: Hey, maybe you'll have his class, he's a pretty cool teacher.

Ruby: What's his name?

Emma: Mr.L/N!

When Emma told her, Yang froze.

Yang's Thoughts: I-It can't be right?....Uncle....died a long time ago, t-there's no way...

Ruby: Yang? Are you alright?

Yang: H-Huh? Ohh, yeah I'm fine.

Emma: Well, I'm gonna head up to the cockpit, see you guys around!

Ruby: Bye!

Emma left them, and Yang walked away as well.

Ruby: Yang? Where are you going?

Yang: Just gotta make a call.

She walked over to the corner of the ship and called her mom.

*Over the scroll*

Raven: Yang?

Yang: Mom, something happened.

Raven: What is it?

Yang: Someone just said uncle Y/N was alive.

Raven:....

Yang: Mom?

The call hung up, and Raven opened a portal and walked next to Yang.

Raven: I'm gonna kill him.

Timeskip, At Beacon, Your classroom

You were fixing your classroom, making sure everything was nice. Ever since you became a teacher, more memories came back, and you remembered your friends and remembered team STRQ. Unfortunately, you still hadn't remembered that you were married to Summer, and that you had a child with her. As you were setting up, the door opened.

Y/N: Ohh, I thought classes wouldn't start until-

You were cut off when someone struck your back, making you fly into the wall. When you got up, you went wide-eyed when you saw it was Raven.

Y/N: Raven...

Raven: Y/N L/N, what the hell-

She was cut off when you suddenly hugged her, and lightly sobbed.

Y/N: Help...*sobs* help me remember.

Raven: What are you talking about?

Y/N: I can't remember the rest of my life. I only remember parts and fragments. My amnesia hasn't gone away.

Raven didn't know what to feel. Finding out that your memory had been disoriented was a shock.

Raven: Y/N, do you remember Summer?

Y/N: Yes, we were best friends.

Raven's Thoughts: So he doesn't remember being married to her, which also means he doesn't know about Ruby or Yang.

Raven: *sigh* I'm sorry, but you'll have to figure this out on your own.

Y/N: Why!?

Raven: So you can find your true self.

Raven opened a portal back home, but before she left, she told you something.

Raven: I hope you remember soon. She still needs you.

With that, she left, leaving you on the floor.

Y/N's Thoughts:...she?...

Timeskip, Island of Patch

Raven arrived back home, and went down stairs where Tai and Qrow were. Summer went out to buy some groceries.

Raven: Guys, I have good news.

Tai: What is it?

Raven: Y/N's alive.

They both were shocked when they heard this. And when Qrow heard it, he immediately got up.

Qrow: Take me to him.

Raven: No.

Qrow: What do you mean No!?

Raven: Let him figure out on his own.

Tai: But Summer needs to know.

Raven: I've already spoken to Ozpin, and he didn't tell him either. We have to let them find each other on their own. It's the only way he'll find himself truly. Don't get in the way, just let things happen, Yang already knows this as well.

They just reluctantly agreed, and didn't tell Summer about you being alive.

Timeskip, Initiation, with you

You were stood at the cliff side with Ozpin and Glynda waiting for the first years to arrive for their Initiation.

Y/N: Can you please tell me something about my past?

Ozpin: Y/N, it's best for you to figure out on your own, so you can rediscover everything at once.

Y/N: *sigh* not one hint?

Ozpin: *chuckle* Y/N, I understand that your excited about gaining your memories, I'm surprised you remembered me when you came here with Emma.

Y/N: She turned out to be one of the best huntresses to ever graduate.

Glynda: Well, she did have you as her teacher.

Y/N: I appreciate the compliment Ms.Goodwitch.

She nodded and soon, all the first years came to the cliff side you all stood on. You noticed a girl that kind of looked, well, more like she was an exact copy of Summer. Same silver eyes, same hair, only she wears a red cape and black and red combat clothing.

Y/N's Thoughts: Maybe she's Summer's kid. Who ever she married is lucky.

After Ozpin gave them all a speech and instructions on what they had to do to retrieve the relics, they were all flung off the edge of Beacon.

Ozpin: Y/N, when was the last time you practiced combat?

Y/N: Ummm, maybe a few months now.

Ozpin: I want you to put on your armor, and engage the students. I would like to see what they would do under different circumstances.

Y/N: As you wish Ozpin.

You stepped forward and grabbed Incursio's Key.

Y/N: INCURSIO!!

Your aura began to swirl around you, building up the wind speed, and soon, your armor formed around your body, finishing with the helmet and face mask, and your eyes visors shined a bright yellow. Your spear appeared behind your cape, and the air finally slowed once your amor had been complete.

Glynda: Been awhile since we've seen that.

Y/N: Yeah, feels good to finally get some action. Well, see you!

You flew off and began to watch different pairs of students from the sky.

Y/N: Hmm, I wonder how they'll do.

Timeskip

You watched from the air all pairs of students select their relics. A number of funny events happened to them. Randomly falling from the sky, riding on the back of an Ursa, being chased by a death stalker. Almost being impaled by the death stalker. Luckily, they all survived, and were nearing the bottom of the cliff side, where another set of ruins were. They stopped when they saw the Nevermore had cut them off, and the death stalker showed up behind them. Someone with pink hair was going to take shots at the Nevermore, but you had thrown your spear into it, killing it in an instant.

Y/N: Guess I should make myself known.

With Ruby

Ruby: What just happened to the Nevermore?!

Yang: The death stalker is still behind us!

They were running, and when they turned back to look at it, they saw you come down on top of it, and smash it's head in, killing it. They all stared at you confused, while Ruby was staring in awe.

Jaune: Who is that guy?

Ruby: Look at that armor! He looks so cool!

You turned to face them, and no one could see your face due to the full helmet.

Nora: Uhhh, helloooo?

Out of no where, you rushed at them, not saying a word, and stopped a punch mere inches from her face.

Nora: U-Uhhh...*gulp*

You slowly moved back, and summoned your spear, and adopted a battle stance. You taunted them to come at you, which they did. Yang was the first to charged, and tried to punch you, but you were dodging easily. You blocked one attack, and threw her against three of her comrades, knocking them down. Blake went in, and tried slashing you, but your armor protected you. You would try to grab her, but she kept leaving shadow copies of herself, which you would go through. Anticipating her next maneuver, you waited for her to move and leave the copy, and once she leaped into the air, leaving her copy, you jumped and grabbed her, and threw her against Jaune. As you were standing straight, you barely dodged a red blur that tried to hit you. It was Ruby, and she began to attack with a series of quick attacks with her crescent rose. This did prove difficult to deal with, so you summoned your spear, and calshed your weapons against hers. She stared you down as she broke from the clash.

Y/N's Thoughts: She fights with a lot of passion, that's good.

She charged again, but you saw a small opening, and timing yourself right, you were able to slip past Ruby, and strike her back. As she was down, you were going to point the end of your spear at her in an attempt to make her surrender, but when you looked passed her, you saw a beowulf about to pounce on her. It growled and she turned to see it jump at her, but she saw you fly past it, and punch it so hard, it exploded. You went over to her and knelt down.

Y/N: Are you alright?

Ruby: Y-Yeah, thank you sir.

You helped her to her feet, and walked to get her weapon. You handed it to her, and she seemed happy.

Ruby: Thank you.

Y/N: It's no problem.

The other's walked up to you and Ruby. 

Ren: So, who are you?

Y/N: I'm just a teacher.

Nora: Wait, your a teacher here!?

Jaune: Why did you attack us?

Y/N: To see how you would react from the change of scenario's. Don't worry, you'll learn how to do that in class later on.

Blake: Class?

Y/N: Yes, after all...

Your armor disappeared and you allowed everyone to see what you look like.

Y/N:...I am going to be your teacher. *smiles*

When Yang saw you, she fought her hardest not to break down and cry, and jump into your arms. Instead, she simply stayed silent.

Yang's Thoughts: It really is you...Uncle Y/N...
