Your Class, last day of the week

You were demonstrating to the class how switching fighting styles can help in a fight. You were currently having Ruby and Yang sparring against each other in hand to hand combat. Yang was a master at the art, while Ruby....she was currently trying to figure out a better stance, and the one she had now, well....there probably hasn't been an awkwarder stance than what she had. Ruby tried to rush Yang, but she simply side-stepped her, and sent a right hook towards Ruby, but she used her semblance to rush away.

Y/N: That won't always work Ruby, gotta think of another approach.

She nodded, and began to think to herself.

Ruby's Thoughts: Yang is a strong fighter, and is pretty quick on her feet, but she has hard time when it comes to kicking, maybe that'll help me.

Ruby took a stance again, and began to use her semblance, attacking Yang with a flurry of kicks. Yang did have trouble handling this, and a few kicks were able to connect against her.

Y/N's Thoughts: She adapted quickly, that's good.

Yang was having a hard time keeping up with Ruby's attacks, and decided to jump up, which was a big mistake, as Ruby sped upwards, and kicked downwards, sending Yang to the ground.

Y/N: Alright, that's enough. Thank you both of you. 

Yang got up and dusted herself off, and Ruby was proud of herself.

Ruby: Did you see that!? I actually fought without my crescent rose! 

Yang: Good job little sis. You got me pretty good there, now we just have to work on your hand to hand combat, and you'll be unstoppable!

Ruby: Yeah!

*RIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG*

The bell rang, and everyone began to get ready to head off to their dorms to plan out what else they would be doing over the weekend. As you were slinging Incursio's Key, and your other bag on, Ruby approached you.

Ruby: Mr.L/N, what did you think of my fighting style?

Y/N: It's improving dramatically. You've finally learned that you don't need your weapon all the time to win a fight.

Ruby: I couldn't have done it without you.

Y/N: Please, I just merely told you what to work on. It was you who did the work, and practiced to improve yourself.

Ruby: So, what are you doing this weekend sir?

Y/N: Who me? Ohh, I was just going to stay on campus, not really do much.

Ruby: Would you like to accompany me and my family to dinner tomorrow!?

Y/N: Ohh, uhh, dinner? Hmmm....I don't see why not, and it'll be nice to see your mother again.

Ruby: Awesome! 

Y/N: I'll set up the reservations for dinner, now, run along Ms.Rose, go and get ready for your weekend.

Ruby: See you tomorrow Mr.L/N!

She ran out of the room happy that your going to dinner with her family.

In the hallway, with Yang

Yang was waiting for her sister to come out, and when she did, she approached her.

Yang: Did you ask him? 

Ruby: Yeah, he said yes! That was a good idea to invite him to meet our family. I'm sure he'll be excited to see them!

Yang: He definitely will be.

As they walked, Yang began to text her mom.

Texts to Raven

Yang: It worked, he's setting up the dinner.

Raven: Good, these two have been split for too long. Ruby still doesn't know right?

Yang: No, she doesn't. What about Summer? 

Raven: Still clueless. Now them, we better do some dress shopping for these two. Qrow and your dad will help Y/N with his wardrobe.

Yang: It's going to be a fancy place, so we're going to have to dress nice.

Raven: Uggh, do I have too?

Yang: Yes! We all need to be there.

Raven: Fine, we'll start shopping when you get home. Make sure Ruby comes also. She needs to look nice as well.

Yang: Right, I gotta go, bye mom.

Raven: Bye.

Yang and Ruby arrived to their room which was vacant of their teammates since they also had their own plans, and already left ahead of them. As they were packing, Yang couldn't stop thinking about what was going to happen.

Yang's Thoughts: I can't wait for Uncle Y/N, and Summer to be back together again. Once he see's her, his memory should come back. Don't worry Uncle Y/N, you'll be home soon.

The Next Day

Raven and Yang were out taking Ruby and Summer shopping for some fancy clothes since the dinner would be fancy. Raven and Yang had already gotten their dresses, so it was just Ruby and Summer who were in need of proper attire. Summer didn't know that it was you who was the teacher though. Going through dress after dress, Summer and Ruby were both getting tired.

Ruby: Do we really have to wear this kind of stuff?

Yang: Yes! It's a formal fancy restaurant! 

Summer: Can't we just wear our capes over our clothes?

Raven: No, that is no where near fancy. 

Summer&Ruby: Ughhh! I'm tired!

Yang: Look, tonight's a special night.

Raven: Yeah, and we need to look our best, especially you two.

Summer: If your thinking about hooking me up with that teacher, forget it.

Raven: No, that's not it Summer. It's just a surprise.

Summer: If you say so.

With You

You were currently with Tai and Qrow picking out your outfit for tonight's dinner party.

Y/N: Thanks again for inviting me guys.

Tai: It's no problem, anything to spend sometime with an old friend.

Qrow: Yeah, we owe you one since  you saved our butts countless times before. 

Y/N: Well, what do you think about this one?

You held up a black tux that had (F/C) trimmings, and a (F/C) bow tie.

Qrow: Dapper.

Tai: Nice choice.

Y/N: Alright then, it's settled.

You and the both of them purchased your clothes for tonight, and you went back to Beacon to go and get ready for the dinner party. When you got back, Emma saw you.

Emma: You planning on going somewhere fancy?

Y/N: Ruby wanted me to have dinner with her family.

Emma: Mind if I join? I have a beautiful dress I've been wanting to wear.

Y/N: I don't mind. Get ready now then.

Emma: Okay.

Timeskip

You and Emma were both on the bullhead heading down to Vale to go have your dinner with Ruby and her family. When the bullhead landed, you both walked over to your car and drove off to head to the restaurant. While driving, you were stopped at a red light, and heard sirens blaring through the streets. You watched as cop cars flew by the intersection. You looked over to the direction they were driving towards, and saw a huge smoke cloud.

Y/N: Something must have happened.

Emma: Should we check it out? 

Y/N: Yeah, text Tai for me saying we're running a bit late.

Emma: Okay. 

You sped off and followed the cop cars to the scene, while Emma texted Tai.

Y/N: I got a few pistols in the back, under the seats.

Emma: On it.

She reached to the back seat, and pulled out two pistols. She loaded hers, while you loaded yours quickly, and placed your hands on the wheel again. After arriving on the scene, you heard shots fired, and a cop car next to your car blew up. You and Emma got out and took cover behind your car. You saw the White Fang raiding a warehouse full of dust. You read the situation, and saw you would need more fire power. You opened your trunk, and pulled out Incursio's Key.

Emma: You brought it?

Y/N: Just in case, and look, we got a case.

Emma: Just shut up, and take care of them dummy.

Y/N: Yes, ma'am.

You stepped out, and stabbed the ground.

Y/N: INCURSIO!!

Your armor appeared on you, and your spear was in hand. The White Fang soldiers noticed you.

WF Member: Take out the one in armor!

They all began to open fire on you, and you merely blocked and deflected their bullets with your spear with ease. You began to make your way to them, and charged at three of them. In one giant swing, you hit all three of them, and knocked them out. The others kept firing, but you began to move at speeds they couldn't keep up at.

Y/N's Thoughts: I have plans tonight, this is such a pain.

With Ruby and her Family

They were all waiting outside the restaurant for you and your sister. Tai was checking the time on his watch.

Tai: It's been 30 minutes since they said they were going to be late.

Yang: I'm sure they're just running into traffic.

Raven's Thoughts: Y/N, your already making a bad impression. Where the hell are you.

Civilian: Whoa! Check out the T.V!

Ruby: Huh? 

They all looked over and saw a crowd gathered by a T.V shop. They walked over to see what was going on.

Yang: What's on the news?

Civilian: Another White Fang attack, but look, someone else is there fighting with the police.

They all got a closer look.

Reporter: We are live in downtown Vale wear a massive shootout has occurred between Vale police, and the White Fang. We've received word that an unknown man wearing a suit of armor had arrived on scene, and is currently battling against the White Fang. Look! There he is  now!

The camera zoomed in and it showed you fighting of a White Fang Lieutenant. You blocked a strike from his chainsaw, and swung your spear at his side, sending him into the building.

Civilian 1: Whoa! That guy looks awesome! 

Civilian 2: Who is he!?

Civilian 3: Incredible..

When Summer got a look at the armor, she went wide-eyed when she saw that it was your armor. She rushed over to the car.

Ruby: Mom! Where are you going!?

She didn't reply, and before anyone could stop her, she drove off as fast as she could to where the fighting was going on.

Raven: Come on, I'll get us to her.

Raven opened a portal to the scene, and everyone ran into it.

Back With You 

You had just finished off the last White Fang soldier, and rounded them all up for the police to take them away. The Commissioner walked up to you as your armor disappeared.

Commissioner: We appreciate the help. Are you a huntsman?

Y/N: I am, and former teacher at Beacon Academy.

Commissioner: Thank you for the help sir. We'll just need your report now, and your free to go.

Y/N: Right. 

You walked over to where Emma was filling out her report, and before you could start, you heard shouting.

Police Officer: Ma'am, please you can't be here right now.

Woman: Let me through! I have to see him! Y/N!!!

You looked up and saw....Summer....your mind seemed to stop working, and you felt as if the world around you froze. Summer broke passed the officers, and rushed over to you, and engulfed you into a big hug.

Summer: *loud sobs* I knew you were alive. *loud sobs* I knew it...

She cried loudly into your chest, clinging onto you as if her life depended on it. You were still frozen, but after a few more seconds, your mind's flood gate opened, and your brain was flooded with memories. You remembered it all. Your entire life. You remembered falling in love with Summer, and marrying her. You remember that Ruby was your daughter, and that Tai and Raven were married, and had Yang. You remembered it all. But with all of it flooding your head, it became too much, and soon, you felt an excruciating pain, that made you drop to your knees and scream in pure agony.

Summer: Y/N!? Y/N!? WHAT'S WRONG!?

Y/N: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Summer: Y/N! 

You blacked out from receiving all your memories in an instant, and Summer caught you.

???: It seems he got his memories back.

Summer turned to see Raven and everyone else behind her. She turned back to you, and hugged you close as she began to cry again. Emma saw this, and felt happy that you finally regained your memories, but was saddened, thinking you would forget about her.

Emma's Thoughts: I'm glad your memories came back. Just please...don't forget me..big brother...

Officer: Hey! Get a medic here! 

As paramedics rushed over to where you laid unconscious, Ruby saw her mom crying, and saw you were in her arms.

Ruby: Mom! Are you okay?

Summer: *sniffle* yes *sniffle* I am now *sniffle*

Ruby: Mom, do you know Mr.L/N? 

Summer: *sigh* Sweetie, there's a lot I need to tell you. *sniffle*

Ruby: Like what? What's going on?

Summer: Ruby....

Summer looked back to you, and moved the hair that covered your face.

Summer:...this is your father, Y/N L/N.

Ruby:.......................
