Raghuvendra's pov

Today i had to go out of city for an urgent meeting with a Foreign Deligates. I did not want to go....leaving Rose behind but this project was for Siddharth. I have been working on this project from a very long time and it was not less than a miracle that they agreed to meet me and now I can't ditch this!
I wanted to gift this project to Siddharth on his upcoming birthday.

So, with a heavy heart I left from the mansion but before leaving like everyday, I kept fresh English Roses for my Rose!
And ask her the promise to rise and shine!

It was a three hours drive and so through out all my way, I kept checking my monitors for Rose. I was satisfied, mom was with her all the time.

When I reached the Hotel the delegates were already there. We joined the conference and time flew....there were presentations and many legal files to be signed. I was so absorbed in all the talks that I didn't know that it was almost night time.

We finally closed the deal and I signed the final draft.....finally Sid's birthday present was ready!
I was so happy...i switched on my mobile and my face paled...there were 125 missed calls from mom... Sid... Jaanvi.... Even Sneha...and nearly 50 missed calls from my staff from both office and Home.

My heart jumped and my throat dried....i had lost my courage to call back!

I didn't want to hear something that would suck out my life.

I was not scared of dying...but I was scared to die without having a chance to look at my Rose!

My assistant came running and shook me
like someone had possessed him.
Had it been any other day, I would have ripped his hands apart for touching me this way.

But his panicked face told me his story!
I think, they tried contacting him also.!

He stuttered - S... Sir....its your mom...she has some...something urr..urgent to t...tell you!

I put the phone on my ears and waited for her to say something....i heard her sobs....she... She was not able to utter those words.

No, it can't be!

I gulped hard and spoke without any emotion in my voice - Mom! What Happened?

She sobbed more and hardly spoke - Come Back Home Raghu!

And she cut the call....his mobile slipped out of my hand and I walked away like a dead man...without speaking a word!

I reached my car and took keys from the driver had drove like a jet.

The journey of three hours, was completed in just one and a half hour this time and the rolling tyres screeched outside my mansion. I thought those driving hours were the worst hours of my life... But now standing outside the mansion, I felt like a T-sunami had hit me....and my life is finished.
I had no strength to go inside and face the worst...so I stood rooted to where I was.

The driver and my assistant took me inside and I didn't protest.
How could I?...after all, I felt lifeless!

I was engulfed in a bone crushing hug by my mother. I looked at her tear filled face....her shivering....had my beats stop. She suddenly looked 10 years older than her age.

I looked around and found Siddharth and Jaanvi standing there with concern written all over their faces.

All the staff was also there!

I made mom sit on the couch and asked masking my fear - What happened Mom?

She again looked into my eyes and said - Jhi... Jhilmil....she... Is..... She.....

.... .... ....
.... .... ....

She was saying something...but I closed my eyes and thumped on the floor.
The pain that i felt in my heart was excruciating and unbearable.

It was the worst pain one could get!

And I broke down!
I cried and cried!

I have lost her!
How can I loose her?
How could she leave me, mom?

She left me.... She fucking left me.... What am i doing here, then?
I should die too!

Yeah, I should die... I will kill myself!

I was blabbering.....then I looked around to find something... Anything to kill myself when I felt a sharp pain on my cheeks.

I looked up and saw my frustrated mom.... She had slapped me...then she yelled -

Stop your Non sense Raghuvendra Singh Rathore!

Have you lost your mind?

Why do you want to kill yourself, when she is awake!!!!!

- Awake!!!!??!!!!

- Awake!!!!

- Awake???? - I repeated like a mad man

She is awake? Mom? Is she awake!?! - I whispered like i had found a light at the end of a dark tunnel.

Yes, Raghu jhilmil is awake! Your wife is awake!!! - she spoke and smiled wiping my tears

Reality soaked my senses and I ran towards our room like a lunatic to get a glimpse of her!

I didn't care if I missed a stair or two...or almost tripped...i reached the door of our bedroom...panting....my heart beats accelerated.... I took a deep breath and opened the door very quietly and peeked in.

My breath hitched when I saw her!

She looked fresh....she wore normal clothes unlike other days.

Her eyelids were closed but I knew she was awake.... Just tired enough to not to keep her eyes open.

I wishpered - Rose!

And her eyes opened and her head moved towards my direction and her eyes found me.

Time seemed to stand still!

We looked into each other's eyes like our souls were connected.

I didn't know I was crying until she softly spoke - Please Don't cry Raghuvendra!

And I swear, that sounded like a melody!

She patted her hand on the place beside her and gestured me to sit there.

I, like a robot sat there and kept looking at her face. I still could not believe, she was blinking her eyes...was speaking...and breathing normally.
Just to assure myself, I asked

You are awake!?!

Yes, I am..! - she smiled

You took quite a time! - I whined

And I am sorry! - she wispered

And that reminded me of what she had done! And all my pent up frustration and  agony came back.

I held her arms and spoke sternly -

Your sorry won't redeem the little stunt you pulled! You know I died every single day without you!
What the fuck were you thinking Rose?

I wanted to save you! - she lowered her eyes

Didn't you hear, I was dead without you! - I asked

I am sorry! - she pouted

I don't care! - I ignored

Raghuvendra, please I was scared that time! - she said softly

And do you know how scared and unsure I was all this while? - I asked

She huffed!
I said I am sorry, you Beast!

Tears began to flow from my eyes -
I almost died Rose!
The mere thought of loosing you had me mad! I felt someone had stabbed me and snatched my heart!
Do you remember, how I held you... When that bitch shot you!
Didn't you think what would I do without you... Not even for a second?
Didn't you know I loved you more than my life... Then how could you....you...and....

And she kissed me!

Oh my God! She is kissing me...!!! And it was enough for me to forget what was before and after that! Heck, I couldn't even remember my own name!

Even though her kiss was immature...yet her soft lips felt like feathers.....she was caressing my lips with hers very gently
and I surrendered... I kissed her back like as if I was taking my last breath.

I fisted her hair and pushed her face back to have full access and sucked the hell out of her velvety lips. I nibbled and bite....She started to punch her tiny fists to stop me but I was on a drug!

I just couldn't stop!
Her kiss was a miracle and was enough to make my knees weak.

Ewwwwweeee!!! Please Save my Virgin Eyes R! - both of us jumped up hearing Jaanvi's shrill

Rose was red like a tomato when she saw them and I was still dazed.
Mom said - Raghu, no funny business, she just woke up... She is weak, so behave yourself!

And of course how could Siddharth leave the chance, so he smirked - Save something for your Honeymoon guys!

I rolled my eyes and rose hide her face in my chest feeling embarrassed.

This girl has so much control over me that she is going to be the Death of me!
