Writer's pov

Raghuvendra was furiously reading some old files and he called his trusted investigator to confirm the details of Harshad and Sikha Malhotra.
His mind was exploding since the day the duo spat out their past.
Their history was painfully connected and Raghuvendra actually feared the outcome.

He opened his secret office and took out an old tattered box.
It consisted of his father's old Mafia contacts and his personal diary.

Although, he did not remember his father that clearly but still, this diary had kept him attached to his father, Late Amrendra Singh Rathore.

He caressed his hands on his father's smiling picture, quite a rare one for his father's kinds.
Amrendra was a very influential and powerful Mafia King of his times. He controlled almost all of North India and most Mafias from South too. And people feared his wrath but to his family and friends, he was very loving and kind which eventually led him into extreme betrayal which caused him death.

Had it not been about Raghuvendra's mother, they would have been on roads or God knows may be dead!

He whispered - Dad, A storm from our past has threatened to hit us and I don't know how to react!

I wish you were here to rescue us all!

Flash Back :

The story began when the two best of friends were chased by two powerful mafias.
Gayatri and Ragini were best of friends or they were thought to be.
Both of them were known for their unmatchable Beauty and they were the talk of town.
They went to girls college and boys would wait for them to come out of the cmpus, just to take a glimpse of these beauties.
But, unaware of those boys, Two Mafias had set their eyes on the girls.
Amarendra's heart was captured by Gayatri, however Ragini stole the heart of Rakesh Malhotra, who was also a feared Mafia but his involvement in dirty businesses earned him hatred.
However, he never tried to cross Amarendra's path since he knew he was very powerful.

It was one of those blissful spring days, when Amarendra came out in front and proposed Gayatri.

Gayatri straight away rejected his proposal but persistent, he asked Ragini to help him. And she agreed to help him to win her friend but little did he know that, Ragini secretly admired him and wanted to be with him.

She tried to create and weave a lot of misunderstandings between Amarendra and Gayatri but Rakesh did not like it.
All her plans got spoiled when he forced her to marry him as he loved her.

Ragini acted to be happy in front of Gayatri and both the friends were married at the same temple.

But things began to change once they settled in their married life.
Ragini soon, began to realise that how mighty Amarendra was and Rakesh, on the other hand was nothing but his follower, even though he had quite a good share of business under his control. She began to envy Gayatri and involved herself more into the dirty businesses and still maintained friendship with Gayatri, who was oblivious of her greediness.

And to add to her burning wounds, she came to know that she had a very few chances of conceiving....Rakesh, being frustrated started to ignore her...and That twisted her mind more.

According to her, Gayatri was leading a perfect life and she already was blessed with a baby boy...but Ragini's fate played cruel with her...and she hated that helplessness.

She wanted more power and more money!
So, she began to hatch a vicious plan which included the destruction of Amarendra and Gayatri!
She played behind the face of Rakesh and his men.

She got a few men to attack Amarendra's second in command, Suraj Khurrana, because he was collecting evidences against Ragini and Rakesh but fate was in his favor and he survived the attack and informed Amarendra about their betrayal.
Amarendra vowed to avenge the attack on his friend, so he began to destroy Rakesh's businesses. He took extreme steps to isolate him.

This in turn, angered Rakesh and Ragini played with his vulnerable state.
She filled his ears against Amarendra and Gayatri and he kidnapped Gayatri and her little boy!
And this was unexpected to Ragini as well, now Rakesh looking at Gayatri's beauty...began to lust over her but Gayatri like a brave woman kept her safe....but the manhandling she got in return, caused fatal as she lost her unborn child since she was in her first trimester...Rakesh would beat the little boy mercilessly to take out his frustration...but Ragini after knowing the truth feared Amarendra's wrath.

So, she came out in front of him and acted to be a victim of Rakesh's physical abuses too. She offered to help and manipulated Amarendra.
Later, after a bloodshed, Gayatri and her son was saved by Amarendra but unfortunately his friend, Suraj Khurrana was killed in the process of saving her...He was mercilessly killed by Ragini's men but Rakesh denied any kind of involvement in his murder. However, the grief of loosing her unborn child made Both Amarendra and Gayatri numb.

Still, Raghuvendra's father vowed to avenge but he was betrayed by Ragini and her twisted evil plans worked this time. She tricked him and got him killed by her men.

And Rakesh did not find out her vicious plans and was relieved that his rival is killed.

However, even after the bloodshed, she could not succeed in acquiring their properties or the mafia status. Since, Amarendra already had an heir, it was decided by the Mafia people that Gayatri will be assigned the post for few years before raghu could be crowned. Gayatri, however broken, buckled up and protected her kids and their future empire.
She officially adopted Siddharth and Jaanvi and raised them as her own kids.

And This time again, failure added fuel to Ragini's hatred but looking at unfavorable condition, she backed off for some time.

Rakesh too backed off, and did not pay much attention but he remianed unpunished and got involved in his previous business. After a few years, Ragini got to know about her pregnancy and she was happy for the first time after her marriage. This gave her new hopes, she wanted the best for her child. So, she concentrated on expanding the business.

And Gayatri, gathered herself for her kids and became one of the feared Mafia Lady. But she slowly began to legalize the Black Business of her late husband, for, she wanted her kids to breath in the pure air!

When Raghuvendra came in power, he took revenge of his father's and Uncle's death and her mothers insult. He attacked Rakesh's mansion and killed him brutally...he also shot Ragini but what he did not know that Ragini was not dead but had just gone into coma.

Even after knowing Ragini's betrayal and Rakesh's cruel act, Gayatri never wanted Ragini's kids to suffer. She did not want to punish the kids for their parents deeds so she had asked Raghuvendra to bring her kids home safe and sound but he could not find her kids. And he left after searching them in the mansion. Later he asked his investigation team to keep looking for the kids, but as they did not know their faces it was very difficult to locate the kids and Gayatri felt guilty....she held herself responsible for their sufferings.

And slowly Time moved on it's pace and things began to normalize. Raghuvendra became the most heartless Mafia Heir and Gayatri withdrew herself from the Business world.
She became the mother of three kids: Raghuvendra, Siddharth and Jaanvi!

Flash Back ends.

Raghuvendra pressed his strained veins on his forehead and tried to join the missed puzzles.
If Harshad and Shikha are what he thinks they are, a lot of lives are going to get affected. And to his horror, "Ragini" was still alive and free!

His phone rang and his PI confirmed that his thoughts were actually right. Harshad and Shikha Malhotra were Ragini's kids.
And the truth that their mom is still alive and manipulated her own kids to get a hold of power and money had him electrocuted.

Now the story or their reality has moved on to the other side of table!
Because, Harshad thinks otherwise...he thinks that Raghuvendra's father betrayed his father who tried to destroy his business and in defence Raghu's father was killed by his father's men as revenge!
But he is unknown to the truth! Both the siblings are manipulated by their greedy mother who always wanted Power and Money and was jealous and insecure of Raghu's mother.

How is he going to prove Harshad, that the actual truth is far way from what he has been filled with!

How his mother is going to react after knowing the truth!

Or, what will Siddharth and Jaanvi do to Harshad and Shikha!

He wanted fresh air and so he headed out...he asked his driver to give him the car keys and drove off to somewhere peaceful.

He was driving on the highway in a high speed...aimless....suddenly, his mobile rang showing an unknown number. He frowned as his personal number is not easily accessible.

He lifted the call and froze!

Well, Hello there Son!
Did You really think that my kids were alone?
The person laughed evil and said -

I am Back! Tell her!

And this time, I am going to kill her!

And the line went off.....His hold on the gears and steering faltered and he lost the balance as his speed was too high. He tried to apply breaks but failed. Before he could switch his car to an automatic setting to prevent any major damage, A Truck came in front of his car blinding his eyes and after that all her remembered was excruciating pain and he saw blackness!

However, in Rathore mansion, Jhilmil was panicking and she tried to reach out raghu's mom but she could not found her. She tried calling her but her number was switched off. She felt weird but her anxiety and panick took over her rational mind. She asked one of the drivers to take her to the mentioned Hospital!

She hurriedly reached the reception and asked for Raghuvendra!
A nurse told her that Raghuvendra was in the private casuality ward.

She reached the doors panting and saw Raghuvendra lying there. Tears started to flow from her eyes and she controlled her sobbing.

Raghuvendra growled as he tried to open his eyes but failed to do so...a soft familiar hand touched his face....and he opened his eyes.

He was stunned to see Jhilmil in front of his eyes...he looked at her as if this he was deciding whether it's a dream...!

Her tears...her sobs confused him and he looked around him and found himself in a hospital cabin.

Why are you Crying Rose? What happened? - he asked softly

She hugged him with all her might and kissed all over his face.
Raghuvendra was startled to see her like this....he patted her back and cupped her face and asked again - What happened Jhilmil? Why... You..

But jhilmil put her finger on his lips and said - You happened Einstein!

He chuckled and she yelled -
How dare you pull that stunt on me! What were you thinking Raghuvendra, how could you endanger your life like that! Do you have any idea what I was going through when I received that call?

You always think about others....but now you have me...we are together now..so you have to think about yourself too...what if something had have happened to you! Did you ever think...what will happen to me...where will i go?

Raghuvendra smiled at her vulnerability and spoke acting cool - Jhilmil calm down, please! Look, I am fine...nothing happened... It was just an accident! I was stressed and besides, your Husband is not so weak to die easily! So, you don't have to worry!

Jhilmil glared at him and said - I am warning you mister! Stop your acting! Don't ever dare to say these things again!

By the way Rose, how did you know I met with an accident? And are you alone here? Don't tell me you did not take your guards with you! - Raghuvendra asked firmly

Jhilmil lowered her eyes and spoke - I received a call from an unknown number. A Lady spoke that you met with an accident...told me about this Hospital...and asked me to be with you!

What Lady? - Raghuvendra asked panicked

Jhilmil frowned and saw Raghuvendra's paled face. She asked - Why you look so pale Raghuvendra?

Raghuvendra masked his worry and asked - Did you tell Mom about this accident?

Jhilmil thought for a while and spoke - No I couldn't. She was not at home...i tried to reach her number but it was switched off! I thought tht was weird but I was panicking so much that I did not pay much attention and came here!
I am Sorry!

What!?! Switched Off! She never puts her phone off! And what do you mean she was not at home? - Raghuvendra panicked

Raghuvendra feared about his mom! Did Ragini do something to his mother! He didn't want to think negative but He couldn't stop himself from fearing for her safety.

Jhilmil asked Worried - What happened Raghuvendra? Is there something you are hiding from me?

Raghuvendra jerked up and began to run out of the cabin...jhilmil called his name and followed him.... But he was fast....she called Siddharth and after 3 calls he picked up.

Hello! - Siddharth here

Siddharth, it's me jhilmil! - she cried

Hey, what's wrong! What happened, where are you? - he asked firmly

It's...It's Raghuvendra! He met with an accident...but he is treated...still something is wrong with him...we were talking....just general...or may be about Mom....and he just ran away from the Hospital...and I don't know what to do...! - she spoke

Siddharth was shocked to know this information but he spoke - Calm Down Jhilmil! I will send you a driver and a guard....dont move out before they reach you! Ok?

Jhilmil hummed and hunged up!
God, please keep my family safe! She muttered.
