We three got to the court, we saw some empty seats at the middle row and we quickly rushed to sit before anyone could beat us to it.

Soon enough, some players came out which I am guessing are the Hull team. Fifteen seconds later, Manitoba Bisons (MB) came running in and the whole students started cheering

Sarah and Trisha were screaming like crazy beside me. I spot Dorathy and some girls raising their tops up revealing their bra cladded boobs. 'Ewww what was that for'

The Hull team was leading at the beginning of the game, in a matter of minutes, MB started leading. I noticed Lami, Jamie and Elijah of course had the spotlight.

We had just few seconds left for the game to be over. The Hull team had the ball, one of the players tried passing to his own team player, then Lami collected the ball, passing it to Jamie who threw it to Elijah that had a better chance at scoring and shot it into the basket and that finalised the game making them the winner

The game ends and most students joined the MB team on the court. Sarah and Trish were a cheering mess beside me

Everyone started leaving the court and I started to leave when Trish and Sarah both asked "Nina what are you doing?"

"Uh...what does it look like? I'm obviously leaving, don't you guys want to go and Sarah we've got our shift in an hour remember?" I told them

They looked at me and looked at the court, Sarah said "Yeah I know, but we all plan on going with the boys"

"Which boys?" I turned to look at the court and I spot Dorathy with Elijah whispering seductively in his ears and then she kissed him, more like forced her lips on him.... doesn't she take a hint

"See they're coming " Sarah pointed towards their direction

Trish was looking at something disgustingly "Mehn, ain't that Dora one clingy ass bitch though"

I sighed "we really don't have to wait for them, they'll meet...."
"Hey girls" Jamie cut me, kissing Trish

Lami and Elijah too already came, standing in front of me. We congratulated them on their win, before I knew it, Sarah, Lami, Trish and Jamie starts to leave, leaving I and Elijah at the back

"Wow you guys, thanks for leaving me behind" I rolled my eyes and they laughed.

"So how did I play, cause you didn't even acknowledge me?" Elijah asked

"Why should I acknowledge you? I mean do you think we're good?" I looked at him

"So you're still mad because I kissed u? I don't understand why you are acting like you have still not been kissed? He chuckled

I stopped a bit looking flustered and then annoyed "how about get lost" I started walking faster

He caught up to me holding my hands, I spat and angrily withdrew my hand from his "leave me alone Elijah"

"So I was your first?" He was smirking... the idiot is smirking

I noticed everyone in the hallway staring, some laughing and my so called friends were in shock except for Sarah cause she already knew

No I wouldn't let them get to me. Pointing at Elijah, I muttered "you're a jerk" I ran out of the school and quickly hailed a cab, leaving them behind

I got to Biggies chop and greeted the cashier. I mean I don't even know her name, so I went to meet her

"Hey, I know you don't like me and all, even though I don't know what I've done wrong. I've worked here a few days but I don't even know your name. Just in case I got you mad in anyway, I'm sorry, but I'll like it if we got along"

I waited a few minutes for her reply, but nothing "I guess you don't want that" I smiled and turned to leave when I heard

"It's Jessica, you can call me Jess and I'm not mad at you. I just don't quickly warm up to people, but sure we can be friends" then I saw her smile at me for the first time

I laughed and replied "okaaayy, thanks but I'm really not a bad person"

I went to change to my waitress out, then we started conversing about school and some other things

Some minutes later, the door opened revealing my friends except Elijah who was unfortunately with Dora

"Hey Sarah, what took you so long?" Jess asked, I didn't look at her, just kept on doing what I was doing

"Sorry..traffic, hey Nina can I see you for a bit?" Sarah said walking into the changing room

I sighed and followed her "alright, what's the problem?"

"Are you mad at me?" She asked
"No why would I? "

"Look immediately you left, I talked to Elijah, he's a dick. We know alright and we're sorry if we couldn't stand up for you out there, they were all just shocked"

"What's the big deal in never been kissed? you guys be making me feel like an alien" I rolled my eyes

She laughed "cause it's weird, it's strange to our ears, I mean we understand virginity but never been kissed, it's strange"

"Well you guys can take that off your mind now since he already took that from me" I sighed annoyingly not trying to remember that day

We laughed and settled everything before we headed out to take customer's orders

I went to answer our friends table "Hey guys, what will you like to have?" Bringing out my pen and writing pad

"Sarah, we're sorry about back there, we just didn't see it coming "Jamie said, then Trish and Lami also apologized

"Yeah it's ok, I just don't...." Dora cut me "what happened? Why're you guys apologising?

"It's none of your business Dora, focus on something else" Lami replied

Then she smiled, hugging Elijah tighter and pecking him. I looked at Elijah to find him staring at me intensely making me uncomfortable. Not even reciprocating her gestures

I looked away and asked them for their orders, they all went for burgers, fries, nuggets and soda, while Dora asked for a salad....how do you just eat a salad

I rolled my eyes and walked away to get their orders, I served them and left. My shift went by so quick, I started getting ready to leave and I saw my friends still there with Jess and Sarah gisting with them

"Uhmm you guys are still here? I thought ya'll would have left" I questioned

Lami replied "We were chilling for you, we want to go and celebrate our win and at u and Elijah's place if you don't mind"

I laughed "sure, it's not only my place" we started packing our stuffs when the door opened and came in Nadia looking beautiful, I always feel like the ugly duckling amongst swans, so pathetic

I sighed and smiled at Nadia greeting us "Hey guys, it's been a while" we replied her back with heys or smiles, she hugged me, which I wasn't expecting and said "uhmm Trish told me about the celebration " I noticed the sad look Nadia had when she saw Eli with Dora which she quickly replaced with a fake smile

I noticed Sarah giving Trisha a what the fuck look. I laughed trying to lessen the awkwardness and said "let's all go, with Nadia's car here, there'll be enough ride"

"Yeah, Nina is right" said Sarah and they nodded "so how are we sharing ourselves?" Asked Lami

Well they did the sharing and unluckily for me, I am here sitting with Elijah at the back, Sarah and Lami at the front. I remember how sour Dora and Nadia's faces were when Elijah was against going with them

I looked at Sarah and Lami, they were in their own world, laughing and talking, I think they're into each other, I thought and I smiled

"Hey Nina, you okay there?" Sarah asks
"Yeah I'm okay" I don't know why, but I felt Elijah's stare on me, I looked his way and saw him actually staring at me, I quickly looked out the window

Elijah moves forward watching a video from Sarah's phone and they were laughing, suddenly Lami stopped the car abruptly making me fall towards the window

Holy shit!!, I groaned out in pain holding my head, I overheard Sarah yelling "Lami what's wrong with you, focus man, hey guys are you good?"

I tried to get up but something heavy was stopping me

"Shit, guys I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking, please I'm sorry, are you guys okay?" Lami rambled

I was trying to recover, then I looked up to find Eli on top of me, I was in shock, blinking my eyes, Elijah was staring down at me, we stayed like that until I heard throats clearing

"Oh my God, get off me, no wonder I couldn't breathe" I rambled pushing him away with force

Sarah and Lami shared a look and smirked, before he started the car and drove us, all the while I was still flustered. So much events today, I sigh exhausted
