Star Pov
I sat at my desk looking out the window and sigh, it's been a year almost since I fell for him and he doesn't even noticed because "Hey Jackie, so you know that trip that's coming up, wanna join my group?" I turn and groan in disbelief, after all these years he still hasn't made a move with her but I can't be mad at that he's my best friend, I have to be there for him 'I'll think about okay?' I faced forward and put my head on my arms

"Star did you see that? I asked her to join us" he said happily but I really wasn't so excited "Cool..awesome" I say kinda emotionless "Are you feeling alright? Don't want you to get sick while we get there..and I prepared our stuff" I perked up a bit "Our stuff? Like what?" I say smiling "You know, the safety and things we need..cause I know your gonna ask me to buy things" I giggled

"Yes, I will and Marco will there be a day of just us in a group?" I asked remembering Jackie and the guys are in our group "Yeah, I promise you one day is just us two, we are there for 10 days so of course I'll spend a day with you, your my best friend" my smiles kinda fades, I don't want to be just best friends I want him to be more then that..

When we got home we started to pack for the long stressful vacation, at least I have the window seat and Marco next to me, but I have a feeling Jackie got the seat next to him I groan as I finished my packing and I pull it downstairs next to Marcos black one with a red ribbon tied to it, my suitcase was shaped as a star and it's different from here so no mix up at the airport

"Done and packed, hey Star did you make a backpack of your stuff on the plane so you don't get bored?" I nodded "Yeah..wait like what like my wand?" He shakes his head "Like snacks and drinks and things to keep you occupied for the long 5hr flight" I shrug, I usually just sleep or just sing to myself and Marco bought me a iPod last Christmas, I have so many games and music on it so can use that

"I have my iPod, the teal one you bought me last Christmas" he looks at me confused and then nodded "Oh the Christmas gift I gave you, that will work remember to bring your charger too, I can see you taking tons of pictures and videos there" I giggled and pushed his arm "Shut up Diaz, I wouldn't go overboard but it's somewhere new I never been too so I might"

he chuckles and leaves the room and I sigh, how am I gonna tell him how I feel if he's going to be getting Jackie's attention "Hello Star, I packed you some things you'll need like products for yourself" Mrs Diaz said handing me a a small bag "Thanks...hey can we talk in my room?" She nods and we quickly go up to my room and let out a sigh "What do I do if I have a crush on someone and I'm too scared to say anything?"

A smile appears on her face and she holds my shoulder "Just tell him how you feel, he's bound to understand and your secret is safe with me" she walks out leaving me speechless and confused and blushing all at the same time, I began to laugh and head to bed, we have that trip in just one more day..I gotta plan it out or something because I don't want to be third wheeling for the rest of the trip..

The next morning I woke up before Marco and I waited for him to wake so we can meet everyone at the airport, it's going to be so stressful on the trip and I pray that Jackie isn't next to him in our seat row because if she is..I'm gonna shoot somebody "Morning Star ready for our trip?" I nodded and ignored him and grabbed my suitcase and he followed behind "You okay?"

I roll my eyes, to be honest I was tired I barely slept because of thoughts of Marco and Jackie getting together on the trip "I'm tired Marco..let's not talk until I'm fully awake" he nodded and his parents dropped us off at the airport where we met up with our group and our teacher "Okay kids have fun and be safe"

his parents waved and drove off, as we wait for our departure I sit on a chair and lay my head and try to take a power nap, but having the class filled with boys, what is sleep? "Morning Star..you seem upset" I look to my side and see Janna smirking and I sigh "Kinda..I don't really know" I heard giggling and I saw Marco talking with Jackie and showing something on his phone, probably a photo of a kitty or something "Oh..I see what's going on..your jealous?" I scoff

"Jealous of who?" She moved her head towards Jackie and Marco and I shake my head "I don't care what they do, cause me and Marco are best friends and nothing is gonna change" Janna began to laugh "Yeah right, when they start dating he'll barely hang out with you..it's bound to happen right?" I didn't really want that and what Janna is saying is making everything worse

"Janna can you not talk about stuff like that it's making me feel uncomfortable" she nods and moves away from me and I just look at the two, why can't he talk to me like that? Or like me like that in general!

After waiting for 2 hours we started to board on the plane, I wrapped my arms around Marcos waist so I won't be trampled by taller people "Star..why are you holding me like this, we talked about this" I held tighter ignoring his complaint about it and he gave up "Fine, whatever" I smiled and we got to our seats, as I got comfy I looked at Marco who was turning off his phone

"Hey Marco, what seat did Jackie get?' He sighs "She's in row 14b like two rows behind us" I celebrated in my head "Oh that sucks, I wonder who's sitting next to us" as we look it's Janna and me and Marco groaned "How's my favorite people in the whole wild world"  I banged my head on the window and Marco stopped me "Janna please don't be messing around with us, I'm really not in any mood to deal with you" she nods

"Promise you, I'm actually gonna take a nap while we take off so pretend I'm not here" it was hard to believe her, she likes to play tricks on us and even mess with our minds which I hate "Sure..Star how you feeling?" Marco asked and I forgot I told him I wasn't feeling myself

"I'm okay now, still tired but awake now somewhat" he chuckles and we watch our classmates walk by the isle and take their seats after everyone was seated we took off, which was cool I never really been on one and to be honest I was a little bit scared, I held on Marcos arm while the plane tilted which my heart race "Relax Star, your gonna be fine" I snuggled in his arm and Janna smirked at me and i ignored her because I had Marco to myself.

After almost 5 hrs we landed and we woke up, I felt tired and confused, I had no idea what was going on and Marco didn't either but looked awake, he broke free from my arm and began getting our backpacks as I grabbed mines I looked out the window and saw a beach right next to the airport "Welcome to Orlando Florida"

the captain said as we walked by him, as we collected our luggage and follow our classmates. We stood in front of a big bus and I knew Marco wasn't going to feel too good, since the last time he rode one at Brittany party "Hey..are you gonna be okay?" Marco nods and takes a small pill and swallow it whole "Yeah, I'll be fine I'll just be near the bathroom" we hopped into the bus and headed towards the hotel when we arrived the teachers separated us to girls and boys which is dumb

"Alright in room one for the girls, Star, Janna and.." please not Jackie "Jasmin..here you are ladies your key" they handed our keys and I looked at Marco who smiled at me but I soon realize he was smiling at Jackie and I groan in annoyance "Alright set things up and meet here in an hour, now move it"

we all walked slowly to our rooms but the good thing is Marco was across from our hotel room so I could go visit him when I need him "This is stupid" I say and Marco looks at me "It's not think about it, We are all 17 or 18 years old right, so what do teens our age like to do?"

I thought about it and and had an 'Ah' moment "See my point exactly, besides it's a safe idea and I think it's pretty cool I have my bros, and I have you across so if you need me I'll be right across" we chuckled and I looked at Jackie who was with Brittany and someone else "Yeah..that's true I have Janna, but I can manage her I guess..see you in a bit" he nods and he grabs the keys and as we open Jackie passed by and touched his shoulder and giggled and it made my blood boil,

I quickly enter and claimed my bed and began to pout "Seems like someone is upset, wanna talk about?" Janna said with a smirk and I rolled my eyes "Not really, I'm fine okay" she shrugs and I start to charge my iPod and take things out as I finished I heard Ferguson laughing so hard that it made me wonder what the heck they're doing "Hey I'll be back" Jasmin nods and goes back to her phone and Janna was checking stuff out

"Whatever you say Mayor Butterfly" I shake my head and I opened my door and I saw Marco at his door watching Ferguson do cartwheels, as he tried he fell and started laughing which made me laugh and the girls came to see too "What are you guys doing?" I heard a familiar voice and my laughter died "Oh hey Jackie, I'm trying to do cartwheels but I really can't but it's fun"

she giggles and walks towards Marco and they start talking and I move away from the scene and go back into my room and the girls noticed something was off "Hey, I'm your deputy remember, you can tell me stuff I won't tell a soul and I truly mean it" Janna sounded sincere and I sigh and she sat by me "I kinda like Marco, but when I see Jackie with him it makes me mad and upset, how am I gonna get Marco this whole trip to fall for me?"

Janna chuckles "I knew you were gonna fall for him eventually, listen your star butterfly your awesome and cool and have magic, what does Jackie have?" "Good hair, nice body and a beautiful personality" I said sadly "No star, she's not close with Marco than you are..you have an advantage there she's starting from the bottom, your up here girlfriend, so don't stress out" I smiled a bit and pulled Janna into a hug

"Thank you Janna, that was very sweet of you to do" she hugs back "No problem, anyways let's start heading out to the lobby before Skullnick gets angry" I nodded and I stepped outside and saw Jackie walking down which I assume is the lobby and I see Marco locking up "Hey, you disappeared what happened?" I shrugged "I had to use the bathroom"

he raised an eyebrow "That your roommates left with you?" I shake my head "Marco you should know, girls like to use the bathroom together it's a thing so don't question it" he laughs a bit and puts his arm on my shoulder which made me blush a bit, I was small compared to him "Your weird Star" I smile "You too, and your friends"

as we get there everyone seemed to be waiting for Skull Nick and one other teacher, but Marco still had his arm around my shoulder but I didn't care and give me a thumbs up and it was moment for a picture "Marco picture" he sighs "Star I look like I died" I giggle "So do I but I want memories" he sighs and laughs and we pose and take the picture "Look Marco, it came out nice right?"

He nods but points at his face "I have dark circles under my eyes but we look good" I nod and the teachers finally arrive "Alright! Listen up, we are going to be separated into 6  groups, the group that's what me are.." what?! I thought we picked our groups? This is so unfair, I really hope I stay with Marco I really don't want Jackie to be with him, it'll kill me

"Star, you coming?" Janna said shaking me from my thought, I looked for Marco and saw he was in a group with all guys and I sigh in relief "Who's in our group?" We had Brittany, Chantalle, Jasmin and oh no "Jackie.." Janna said and I sigh but at least she's not with Marco that's all I care about

"Hey Star, it's cool I get to hang with you right?" I nod putting my smile "Yeah isn't that great" she flashed me her perfect smile of hers and walked to the others "I know what your thinking..but don't worry I got your back" I sigh, this is gonna be a long day..
