Kai took in a sharp breath out of shock. He shook his head and blinked several times before he found his voice again.

“T-that’s impossible. You can't be related to Jackson.” Kai said shakily

Hyde leaned back slightly, smirking.

“Really? Well, normally the only things that are impossible are illogical. And, also, seeing that impossible isn't in my vocabulary, I disagree with you. Besides, my blood says otherwise about relation.” He said with a slight raised eyebrow

“Yeah, that's not my point. He said his family is gone.” Kai spat back, anger boiling

“Correct you are. They are gone. And technically speaking, I'm dead as well.”

“Then how are you here!? What are you? A cursed soul that escaped the cursed realm?”

Hyde scoffed back.

“Cursed soul? Puh-lease! As if. The day I become a cursed soul is the day Jackson turns evil to the bone.” Hyde stated annoyed, “Regardless, I will give you the quick summary of it, seeing we were going to tell the rest of you tomorrow.”

“We?” Kai questioned

“My gosh, nothing can seem to get through your thick skull can it?” Hyde shot back, “If I'm ‘dead’, how do you think I'm standing? I live within my younger brother's body.”

“That’s not p-possible.” Kai said in shock

“Yes, it is. I told you impossible  is not in my vocabulary. My soul is bonded with his, allowing me to live within him. Jack will let me ‘take over’ at times, allowing myself to show via through him. His hair will change to mine, curly scarlet. His eyes will change to mine, as will his voice. When I come through, I'm in complete control.” Hyde said simply

“I don't believe you.” Kai said stubbornly, not wanting to believe it

Hyde lift his hands slightly in surren
“Course you wouldn't. I highly doubted you would. Well, if you don't verbally believe me, how ‘bout I show you then?” Hyde said with a smirk

Before Kai knew it, Hyde’s hair faded back to sandy brown and his eyes turned grey-blue once more.

“Whatcha gotta say now?” Jackson asked as he watch Kai, amused

He never got a reply, because as soon as he spoke, Kai fainted

“Huh, guess you were right, he couldn't  handle it.” Jackson mused as he looked down at the red ninja

Spar leaned back in his seat, waiting for one of the shadow commanders to report. He smirked slightly.

Everything was going as planned.

The construction was almost complete.

The ninja were too preoccupied with  other things, to even notice what was going on right beneath them.

Soon, oh so soon, would the rest of things click into place.

“And soon, the realm will be released, and Ninjago shall fall into shadow.” He said to himself pleased

He waited a few more minutes, before a shadow then appeared. It showed it was a commander because of the armour plating on it's chest.

“Sir.” the shadow said smugly

“Is everything going as planned?” He questioned

“We have just received the Smoke stone, though we lost several soldiers. Same goes for those who went to retrieve the Blood stone. Currently, we're working on getting a few of the soldiers out of an ice block from retrieving the Ice stone.” came the reply

“Excellent! Finally, everything going as planned. Those who were lost will simply reappear back in the realm.”

“Our next plan of action?”

“We need those other stones along with the realm crystal.” Spar said, thinking

“Which comes first?”

“Time for us to give them a ride of the lifetime!”

Next Day

It was midday, and Zane had powered back on though Cress wasn't  awake yet. Jackson had requested everyone came out, wanting to explain something.

Loriah stood there in shock, along with the others minus Kai and Cress. She was still amazed by the fact that standing in front of her was, or had been, Jackson.

Instead there was the curly, scarlet colored boy in the light grey gi, by the name of Hyde. Who had chosen to join in after everything was explained.

Jay was the first to recover. He looked at Hyde with a grin.

Before he could open his mouth, Hyde spoke first.

“Jay, before you even speak about it, I have heard every joke possible referring to Jekyll and Hyde, none of which are amusing. Also, my name is not at all related to either of them, so do not ask.” Hyde stated, looking directly at him

“Aw man.”

“Do you have any talents?” Cole asked

“I'm rather skilled with weapons. Blades are my specialty, along with cannons and guns. I'm also a skilled medic and scientist. Though I much prefer disassembling compared to assembling.” Hyde said with a smirk

“Why did Jackson wait all this time to tell us?” Lloyd then asked with a faint frown

“He’d prefer to answer that himself.” Hyde said before he left and Jackson appeared

“Reason being, I had to make sure you all were trustworthy enough. Not that I don't trust your judgement Zee, but I had to make sure for myself. Besides, you all would have found out at some point because somebody was getting a little stir crazy.” Jackson said

Zane smiled slightly.

“I trust you. I know you wouldn't hide anything unless it was to remain highly hidden. With that said, I trust Hyde.” Zane stated, and the others nodded in agreement

Kai grumbled something inaudible.

“That's how you did it.” Loriah then said suddenly

“Did what?” Jackson questioned

“When we were giving Echo the Fusion stone, you left your dragon though it remained materialized. Hyde was the one keeping the dragon real, wasn't he?”

Jackson grinned slightly

“Nothing gets past you, huh?” He teased lightly, and Loriah grinned back

“So, all we have to do is inform Cress, right?” Nya asked

Before anyone could answer, there was then the sound of Cress awakening.

“Why in the name of the first spinjitzu master, do I have needles in my arm and a mask on!?”

Jackson sighed heavily and rubbed he bridge of his nose

“Oh joy. I have to go handle this now.”
