Soon after that, Zane set the course to go to Ninjago City.

“We’ll be there soon.” Zane said as he met up with the others on the deck.

“Where exactly are we heading to Zane?” Jay asked as he and Cole stopped sparring each other.

“To the outskirts of Ninjago City. I have to pick a few things up before we go to our main destination.” Zane replied
The others then walked over.

“Why the outskirts of Ninjago City?” Kai questioned.

“Unless you wanted to be swarmed by cameras, then I figured entering through the outskirts would be less of a hassle.” Zane said

“Well then I think we should swap into our undercover clothes so we don't attract to much attention.” Lloyd added
Everyone agreed.

“Do I get to come this time?” Echo asked curiously as he looked up at Zane.

Zane and Lloyd both thought for a moment.

“I don't see why not.” Zane said thoughtfully

“You'll need to wear your hoodie though.” Lloyd said

Echo thanked them before heading off to go change; with each of the ninja following to do the same. Several minutes later, the ninja and Echo regrouped  on the deck. Each had on hoodies and shirts of their favorite colors. Lloyd's were green, Cole’s were black, Kai’s were red, Nya's were marron, Loriah’s were dark blue, Jay’s were bright blue, Zane's were white, and Echo’s were orange.

“Everybody ready?” Lloyd asked the group as they arrived at the destination.

“Yep.” Jay said

“So we are just taking our dragons to the edge of the city, right?” Cole asked to confirm.

“Yes, then we will just go on foot.” Zane answered

“Loriah, you will be riding with me. Echo, you will ride with Zane.” Lloyd added

Loriah just nodded in agreement. She wasn't fully on board with piggybacking on Lloyd's dragon. She almost had made her own dragon, if only it would stop disappearing midway.

All the ninja then made their dragons. Echo climbed onto Zane's dragon while Loriah climbed onto Lloyd's. Within a few minutes they all landed at the brink of the city. Each of them quickly made their dragons disappear, before pulling their hoods on; with Zane and Echo pulling theirs on lower than the others. They then headed into the city, with their heads down; trying not to attract too much attention.

“You said you need to make stop first right Zane?” Lloyd whispered

“Indeed, I need to see Mr. Borg for something.” Zane whispered back.

They all then headed down to Borg Tower. They each entered and waited as Zane disappeared to go get something. Almost fifteen minutes later, Zane came back with a silver backpack.

“Are we all good now?” Jay asked

“Course, I simply needed a few things.” Zane with a smile as he pulled up his hood and lead the way. The others quickly followed.

Soon they came across a gadget store that looked empty. Zane opened the door and lead the way in. Each of them pulled off their hoods. Zane turned to face them all.

“Touch nothing, otherwise you might set something off.” Zane said in a serious tone.

“No problem. Don't you think somebody so go with you, you know just in case something goes wrong.” Cole questioned

“I wasn't planning on any of that, but you do have a point. My choice happens to be Loriah.” Zane said simply.
All the guys, but Echo, groaned.

“Also, Nya and Echo are in charge.” Zane added

“What about me? I'm the leader.” Lloyd protested

“They are in charge because the two of them are least likely to do anything for the fun of it.” Zane said as Nya and Echo smirked.

Loriah then followed Zane through the maze of shelves.

“Here we are.” Zane said as he found a trap door in the far back of the shop.

He opened it. Zane and Loriah then headed down the steps which were lit. When they reached the bottom, Loriah saw that it was like a mechanic’s workshop. Zane had Loriah stay off to the side. He set the backpack down and took a step forward. As soon as Zane took a step forward, there was a click and Zanes feet were soon covered in a yellow goo. Loriah stepped forward to help him, but Zane just shook his head and made her step back.

“Who goes there?” a voice asked as a teenage boy begun to approach Zane.

The boy had messy, sandy brown hair and soft grey/blue eyes. From what Loriah could tell, he had a nick in his left eyebrow. The boy had on a yellow shirt, a grey jacket, a pair of jeans with a rip in the knee, and grey/blue pair of sneakers. He also seemed to be a hair taller than Zane.

“Nice to see you to Jackson. I see you finally came back on the map.” Zane said with a grin as he crossed his arms and look the boy in the eye.

“Zane?” Jackson questioned with a hint excitement in his voice.

“Wait, this seems too good to be true. Lemme ask you something before I let you go.” Jackson saud

“Ask as you please.” Zane said calmly

“What were our nicknames when we were younger?” Jackson asked

“Easy. Your's was the Finder and mine was the Deal Master.” Zane said simply
Jackson jumped up with joy.

“It really is you! Geez I haven't seen you in forever!” Jackson said with a smile

Jackson then whistled and the goo slide off of Zane's feet and rolled itself into a ball. He then picked up the ball and set it on one of the tables. He then came back over and gave Zane a quick hug.

“You changed a lot since the last I saw you.” Jackson said as he looked Zane up and down.

“A lot has happened since last time.” Zane said simply

“I see you brought a girl with you. She your ggggirlffffriend?” Jackson teased
Zane rolled his eyes.

“Loriah is not my girlfriend but my brother's younger sister.” Zane said

“Rrright little brother.” Jackson said

“I am younger by only a month.” Zane said back as he gestured Loriah to come over.

“And I will always be a month older. Since you and I pretty much grew up together, that makes you my little brother.” Jackson teased again as he ruffled Zane's hair.

Jackson then turn his attention to Loriah.

“Your Loriah, right? That's a pretty name.” Jackson said to Loriah

"Yes, my name is Loriah. My name is as pretty as I am dangerous." Loriah said tensely
Jackson then turned back to Zane.

"Sarcastic and fiesty, she's one to keep in mind." Jackson whispered to Zane.

Zane smirked, relizing that Jackson had a crush on Loriah.

“So wassup?” Jackson asked out loud this time.

“I need a favor from you.” Zane said

“This isn't like the time I had to help chase away the dogs that ran you up a tree right?” Jackson asked with a snicker
Loriah snickered quietly.

“You got chased by a pack of dogs?” Loriah asked with a smirk

Zane rolled his eyes.
“First of all, that was a trick deal. Second, it was one time. Third, it relates to those two stones you found that one year.” Zane said quickly

“The stone necklace?” Jackson asked as he pulled off a chain from around his neck. Connected to the chain was a green and gold swirled stone, and a brown and orange swirled stone.

“That's the one. I happen to need it for my job.” Zane said while thinking quickly

“Of course bro. Anything for you.” Jackson said with a smile as he handed it to Zane.

Zane smiled back. He then took the necklace and placed it into his pocket.
“Also, I brought some items that I think you would like.” Zane said with a grin as he handed Jackson the backpack.

Jackson took the backpack from Zane, and walk over to an empty table. He then opened the bag and his eyes widen in shock.

“H-how did you find these parts?” Jackson asked as he poured the bag of parts onto the table.

“I have my ways.” Zane said with a grin.

Loriah went over to the side of the table, and her eyes widen in surprise. There were brand new gears and tools. There were also motherboards, computer chips, and all sorts of wires.

Jackson just stared in disbelief at the collection of parts.

“I can't thank you enough little bro.” Jackson said

Zane shrugged and gave a grin.

“There's no need to. You are and always will be my best friend.” Zane said

“Well I do happen to have something for you, you know once I got to see you again.” Jackson said with a smile as he disappeared behind a tool box.

Loriah then turned to Zane.
“Alright ‘deal master’ howd you get all that?” Loriah questioned as she did air quotes when she said ‘deal master’.
Zane rolled his eyes.

“PIXEL and I happen to have our ways.” Zane dismissed with a wave of his hand

“Who is PIXEL?” Loriah asked

“She is one who happens to understand me. PIXEL lives within me via neural drive. She is all one of the greatest people I've ever met. “ Zane explained shyly and mumbled a few other things Loriah couldn't hear.

Loriah giggled slightly, just as Jackson came back while holding something.

“I wielded this for you Zane. I remember when we were younger how much you loved all those dragon stories we heard.” Jackson said as he handed Zane a chain with a round metal pendant on it.

The pendant was silver. There were seven different dragon heads carved onto it. Each head had a crystal that reminded Zane of each of his and the others elemental dragons. There was a crystal that represented each of them; red, blue, brown, icy blue, maroon, green, and a midnight blue. 

“This is amazing Jack, thanks.” Zane said as he slipped it on.

Jackson grinned and then whispered into Zane’s ear.
“No problem. When were you going to tell me you were a ninja?” Jackson whispered to Zane.

Loriah was baffled looking, since she couldn't hear what Jackson had said. Zane gave Jackson a bemused look.

“I knew you figure out at some point. After all you always were the Finder.” Zane said with a grin.

“What are you two talking about?” Loriah asked in a slightly annoyed tone.

“That's for us to know…” Jackson said

“And you to find out later.” Zane finished

Loriah rolled her eyes at the two’s goofiness. There was then a yell and a bang come from above.

“I bet they did not listen to my warning.” zane said with an eyeroll

Loriah and Jackson both laughed.

“I can get them unstuck.” Jackson said.

The three then headed back upstairs. When they got there, they saw Nya laughing at the others. Lloyd was trapped in a green slime. Cole and Jay were hanging upside-down, with their feet stuck to the ceiling. Kai was pinned down with a yellow goo keeping his hands and legs stuck to the floor. Zane heard Echo laughing from behind Nya.

“Will you two stop laughing and help us!?” Jay yelled

“I did warn you to not touch anything or you might set something off.” Zane said with amusement as he, Loriah and Jackson approached the group.

Loriah stood off to the side by Nya, while Zane and Jackson helped the others.
Soon each of them were freed.

“Zane, this your buddy?” Lloyd asked as he adjusted his hoodie.

“Yes, this is Jackson.” Zane said with a smile

Everybody introduced themselves to Jackson.

“Your traps are amazing. I didn't even see them coming.” Jay gushed to Jackson
Jackson laughed

“Zane and I invented a bunch of this stuff together you know.” Jackson said with a grin.

“Really?” Kai said with surprise

“Well little bro and I did experiments and all sorts of stuff.” Jackson said as Kai and Lloyd laughed.

“Little brother!?” Lloyd said through laughter

Zane facepalmed.
“I'm younger by a month.” Zane said

All the guys just laughed again.

“So tell me, what is it like to be a ninja?” Jackson asked
Everyone then froze.

“How did you know about that?” Nya asked

“Easy, mostly. One while I was away, there were tales about ninja that helped protect ninjago. Also when I returned, I saw pictures and I put everything together. And the fact the white ninja of Ice reminded me of Zane.” Jackson said with a grin

Everyone looked bemused.

“You're not going to shove cameras in our faces, are you?” Echo asked as he showed himself from behind Nya.

“Of course not!” Jackson said with a wave of his hand

Echo smiled and came out from behind Nya.

“Jackson this is my little brother, Echo.” Zane said as Echo pulled a cookie out of his pocket.

“You look just like your big brother, I bet you're just as kind too.” Jackson said kindly to Echo.

Echo smiled at Jackson. Suddenly there was a loud bang.
“JACKSON!” a man’s voice boomed

“Quick, hide!” Jackson hissed as he covered some stuff up.
