Loriah woke up a bit late one morning. She got together and saw there was no training today. Loriah headed down to the kitchen and found Lloyd there already.

“Morning Lloyd.” Loriah said as she walked in.

“Hello.” Lloyd said as he stirred a pot.

“Whatcha making?” Loriah questioned as she went into the pantry

“Oatmeal, wanna grab the toppings?” Lloyd asked with a grin as he looked over at her.

“Sure!” Loriah said cheerfully as she then begun to grab the different oatmeal toppings.
Loriah had oatmeal with the others a couple times, but she knew exactly what they each liked on theirs. Kai liked his with loads of cinnamon. Jay liked his with lots of honey. Cole liked his with peanut butter. Nya liked hers with a handful of nuts added. Echo loved his with crushed cookie added to it. Zane liked his with lots of maple syrup. Lloyd liked his with a broken up candy bar in it. While Loriah liked hers with a couple spoonfuls of sugar added.

By the time the two of them had gotten everyone's breakfast together, all the others but Zane came down.

“Thanks for making breakfast you two.” Nya said with a smile.
Everyone happily ate. By the time they were done, Zane's bowl was still untouched.

“Echo, have you seen Zane?” Cole asked as he put dishes into the kitchen.

“I think he might still be asleep.” Echo answered

“Let's give him our special wake up, then.” Kai said with a sly grin
Everyone then headed upstairs to Zane's room.

“That's odd, his doorknob is cold.” Jay said as he opened the door.

As the door opened, everyone walked in. Inside of Zane's room was ice cold. Everyone looked over at Zane, who was still asleep, and immediately saw a problem. His bed and around it was covered in an icy frost. All of them quickly raced to Zane's side. He was tossing violently in his bed.

“Zane! Wake up!” Kai yelled as he shook Zane awake.

“No!” Zane yelled as he suddenly bolted upright. All the frost disappeared.
Zane quickly looked around the room, and was breathing heavily. Zane climbed out of bed and everyone saw he was drenched in sweat.

“Need...to..see...Wu.” Zane mumbled as he stumbled forward.

Cole and Lloyd caught Zane, and steadied him.

“Zane, calm down. Everything is ok.” Lloyd said calmly

They helped Zane back over to his bed, and made him sit back down. He looked like he was going to be sick.

“Zane what's wrong?” Nya calmly asked.

“Elemental..stones..new..villain..darkness” Zane gasped out as he was still breathing heavily.

Echo came over and sat down beside Zane. Zane slowly began calm down.

“Zane, this all just sounds a bit like a nightmare.” Jay started to say but Zane quickly shook his.

“It was not a nightmare. It was vivid and I have a strong feeling its true. I need to see Sensei.” Zane said in a serious tone as he tried to get up again.

He then left to go change into his ninja gi. Zane headed down to Sensei's room, with all the others quickly following. Zane then walked in and saw Sensei meditating.

“Sensei, I am sorry to interrupt but I have an urgent matter to discuss.” Zane quickly said as Wu got up.

“What is the matter Zane?” Sensei asked as he looked at them all.

“I had a vision. It showed seven stones, each having something related to each of our elements on them. There was then a man that appeared holding all seven of them and there was a darkness that spread across all of Ninjago.” Zane explained as he winced slightly.

Sensei took in all the information before asking a question of his own.

“Zane, what did this man look like?” Wu asked as if he already knew the answer.

Zane closed his eyes and thought for a moment. He open his eyes and looked directly at Wu.

“He had dark brown hair and dark green eyes. He also had a black cloak and was dressed in black.” Zane said before he and Echo both winced.

Sensei was about to say something, but Echo spoke before him.
“Jay please stop.” Echo said as he and his brother winced again.

“Stop what?” Jay asked, confused

Echo and Zane covered both their ears. The others began to grow concerned as both looked like they were going to be sick.

“Zane, Echo what's wrong?” Loriah asked

“Somebody’s….trying...to...come...onboard” Zane stuttered before he and Echo both collapsed.
The others raced to each of their sides and looked them over.

“I don't get it. What in the world just happened?" Jay said baffled, as he tried to wake them up but to no avail.
Then they heard it. There was a loud, static buzzing noise that was heard throughout the bounty. They all looked at Zane and Echo, trying to come up with a plan.

“Go, I will stay here with the two of them.” Sensei said

The ninja all nodded before heading to the bridge. Nya started typing but then stopped, looking panicked.

“Somebody or something has overridden the system. I can't do anything.” Nya said as they all looked at the static ridden map.

The bounty then lunched and came to a stop.

“Please tell me that this is just a prank.” Cole said with a small laugh.
There was a rattling sound and everyone saw the anchor lowering itself.

“That's it!” Jay yelled suddenly

“What's it?” all of them asked as the broke their attention away from the chain of the anchor.

“I know what's going on. Somebody is sending out electrical waves, causing all the buzzing sounds. Zane and Echo probably heard it first, but as it grew stronger, they both shut down from it. Whoever is using it, is overriding the bounty; allowing them to get on board.” Jay said quickly and nervously.

“Are you saying that a tech mastermind is coming on board our ship?” Kai questioned tensely

“In a way, yes.” Jay said wincing at his own words.

There was then footsteps coming from the deck.

“Ninja, ninja, come out to have a little fun.” a voice sneered from the deck.

All of the ninja shared a look of determination before pulling on their hoods and heading out onto the deck. There they found the same hooded figure.

“Mr. Ice having a bad headache?” they taunted as they saw Zane wasn't there.

“You know what you did to Zane!” Lloyd yelled as he and the others pulled out their weapons.

“Now, we can do this two ways. Move and let me see Wu or fall as quick as that pile of scrap.” the person said cunningly at the ninja.

“We will never betray Master Wu!” Loriah yelled.

“Have it your way then.” they sneered.

The ninja then charged at the figure. They were taken by surprise by the figures quickness. Kai used his fire and set the bottom of the person's cloak on fire. They jumped back and put it out. Jay and nya combined their powers and shot it at them, which the person quickly dodged. Cole shot rocks at the person and narrowly missed. Lloyd and Loriah both made energy spheres before shooting them at the figure. The person managed to dodged Loriah’s; but they couldn't dodge Lloyd's, which was stronger, and they got through back to the other side of the deck. They pulled themselves back up.

“This will take far too long. Time for option B.” they hissed at the ninja.

They pulled out an odd looking circle at the ninja. He ninja ducked and it landed behind them. A mist then begun to pour out of it. All the ninja coughed and dropped their weapons. Then each of them begun to pass out one by one.

“Finally.” the person laughed before head above deck.

The figure then casually walked into Sensei's room.
“Hello Wu.” the figure said with their voice laced with hate.

Sensei had just finished moving both Zane and Echo to be propped up against the wall.

“I know what you want, Spar. I will not let you have it.” Sensei said as he readied himself with his staff.

Spar narrowed his eyes.
“Then I take it from you!” he yelled before he attacked Wu.

The two fought, however Wu was soon overpowered by Spar.
“Give me the map!” Spar yelled as he then pinned Wu up against the wall.

“Never, you only want them for darkness and destruction.” Wu said as he then did a flip, freeing himself from his opponent.

As Wu landed on his feet across the room, a white scroll fell out of his gi. Spar and Wu lundged forward at the scroll, with Spar being the victorious one. Spar pocketed the scroll before they pulled out a katana and aimed it at Wu. There was a faint movement from the other side of the room.

“I get what I want all the time. Don't you remember that Wu?” Spar taunted as he raised his katana to deliver the final blow. There was a clanking noise, and Spar found a silver katana blocking his blow. There was Zane, slightly uncoordinated, holding his katana proactively in front of Wu.

“You will not hurt my Sensei.” Zane said in an icy cold tone. He then used all his strength and pushed Spar back.

Spar’s cloak fell off, revealing his black clothing and dark brown hair. Spar growled in anger.

“I sent that wave to shut both you and your annoying brother down!” Spar yelled

“Shut me down, yes. I, however, have someone on my side who happened to start me, mostly, back up.” Zane said as he stayed in his defensive stance.

Spar then charged at Zane, causing the two to clash. Zane, who was still slightly uncoordinated, managed to block the majority of the blows. Zane then managed to send Spar backwards. Spar thought quickly.

“I’ve got what I came for.” Spar hissed before grabbing his cloak and disappearing in a cloud of smoke.
Zane helped Wu up.

“Sensei, who was that?” Zane asked dizzily as he supported himself up against the wall.

“That was Spar, a villain that I had thought was forever gone.” Sensei Wu said.
Zane nodded as he slid down to the floor, with exhaustion beginning to consume him. He then fell asleep right next to Echo.

Seeing that Zane had drifted off, Sensei left the room to find the other ninja. He found all of them knocked out on the deck. Quickly, he woke up each of them.

“Ugh, what hit me?” Kai asked as he rubbed the back of his head.

“All I remember is that guy throwing something at us.” Loriah said as she got up and pulled off her hood.

“Sensei, are you alright?” Nya asked as she got to her feet.

“I will be fine. I hope Ninjago will as well. Come, there is much to tell you.” Sensei said before he started to head to his quarters. All of the other quickly followed. When they entered they saw Echo and Zane side by side.

“Are they both alright?” Cole asked as he saw Jay tinker with Echo for a moment.

“They both are fine, just shut down.” Jay dismissed with a wave of his hand.

There was then a clicking sound and Echo whirled awake. He open and rubbed his eyes.
“Are you all ok?” Echo questioned as Hay pulled him onto his feet.

“We are all fine, are you alright?” Lloyd asked
Echo looked himself over.

“Other than feeling like I have been pricked with hundreds of needles, I'm all good.” Echo said cheerfully.

Jay then moved over to Zane, but Sensei stopped him.
“He is alright Jay. Zane is simply resting from his own battle.” Wu said calmly as Zane was breathing softly.

“Sensei, what was going on with Zane this morning? What are these elemental stones?” Lloyd questioned.
Sensei looked at each of the ninja before speaking.

“The elemental stones belong to each of your respective elements. They were found long ago. Combined the stones can either keep the balance or destroy it, for it depends on the person combining them. If somebody corrupts one of the stone, the owner of the elemental will begin to be corrupted as well. When the stones were separated, a map of their locations was created. The map will give clues to where the locations are; however only few people can actually unlock the true map, revealing the locations of the stones.” Wu explained to the ninja.

“So Zane had a vision of whoever we were fighting, was gaining all the stones and unleashing darkness?” Loriah started to conclude

“That is correct. The person Zane saw and the one you all fought are one in the same. My old enemy, Spar, has returned.” Sensei said

“Who is Spar, Sensei?” Cole asked

“Spar is an enemy from my past. He is not an elemental master, but is clever enough to be one. He is a skillful inventor and creator. I had thought he was defeated long ago, but it seems I was incorrect. Spar will stop at nothing to gain control over Ninjago.” Wu answered.

All the ninja shared a look.
“We have a new mission.” Lloyd said

“We need to find those stones first before Spar does.” Loriah added.

“But where do we begin? We don't even have a clue to where they would be.” Kai said

“I might know where two of them are.” Zane spoke, making everyone but Sensei and Echo jump.
Zane pulled himself onto his feet.

“What do you mean Zane?” Nya asked

“What I mean by that, is that it is time for me to visit an old friend.” Zane said with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

A/N: This happens to be really random, but my favorite oatmeal topping happens to be is Zane's. Gotta love the maple syrup.😁
