Chapter 20: Breaking in

Pacifica POV

"I don't want to do this." Gideon grumbled.

"Oh quiet being a baby." I replied as I fix Gideon's hair, "You have to act like a TV host or whatever you call them."

"Why do I have to be host and not the camera man?"

"Because you have that voice of a TV host. Cody is too boring."

"Hey!" Cody cried out.

I rolled my eyes. Then I finish Gideon's hair, "And perfect!"

Gideon looked at himself, "I hate this."

"Hey at least you look skinny." Cody pointed out.

"It's the wrap around the beer belly to make him look skinny and broad in the shoulders." I replied.

Gideon was wearing a blue dress suit. He looked like a wester dude. Then his white hair was up high and sparkling. Perfect for a TV host. "Remember to speak wester."

"I hate you Pacifica." Gideon grumbled.

"I know but you'll thank me later." I replied.

Then someone knock on the van. I opened the door and Dipper was there, "Are you bloody done yet? We don't have all day."

"Yep all set." I replied. Then I headed out of the van but Dipper grabbed my shoulder and push me back in the van, "Ah, ah, ah...you are staying here."

"Me? Why?" I demanded.

"You are injured and cause too much problems. Let the pros and fakes do it. You stay here and stay on the radio." Dipper replied.

"I need to be there."

Dipper fold his arms, "Oh so you don't trust us?"

"Who would?" Gideon grumbled.

I sigh, "I need to be there to make sure it is there."

"Don't worry, princess, we'll get that crystal thing for you. Don't you worry about it."

I tighten my jaw. In this world...I couldn't really trust them but there was nothing I could do.

"Fine." I grumbled.

Dipper gave a slight smile, "Good. Now get ready."

Dipper POV

I rubbed my amulet. "Are you really nervous brother?" Mabel asked me as she came up to me. I looked up, "What? No. I just can't wait to get this over. It would finally be over and we can rule the town."

"You mean world." Mabel pointed out.

I smirked, "Of course."

"Are you all set?" Gideon asked through the radio.

"Ready whenever you are." I replied.

"I still can't believe we are working with those idiots." Mabel mumbled.

"I know. I hate working with outsiders but if it gets what we want to take down Stan...it's worth it."

"Or for you to hang out with blondie." Mabel smirked.

"Why would that matter?" I raised my eye brow.

"Because you have a thing for her."

"I have a girlfriend."

"So? People have girlfriends or boyfriends all the time. People break up because either things just don't work out or there is someone better. Nothing is for sure until there is a ring on it. From what I know...you haven't purpose to her and you've been dating for a while. You were having second thoughts. You didn't want to marry Julia because you don't feel like she is the right one even though you already slept with her but you don't want to spend the rest of your life with her. I don't blame you. She's a brat, like wasn't it her that dragged you into bed?"

"Can we please not talk about this?"

Mabel sigh, "Doesn't matter...This whole thing would be done and you can choose if Julia is your queen or not."

Then the gate bell rang.

"Here we go." Mabel muttered.

I then headed to the panel and press the screen and button to speak, "Who are you and what do you want?"

Of course it was Gideon and Cody, the two morons, but I had to put on an act that I had no idea about this situation or Stan would think it was a trick.

"I'm Gideon P...Pepper!" Gideon acted really poorly, "I'm a TV show host from Win a Fortune!"

"Mr. Gleeful wants no part of some TV show."

"Well he's already part of it! He had won 1 million dollars!"

I raised my eye brows, "Oh really?"

"Yep! Stan Gleeful had won 1 million dollars and we are here to interview him! So can we please come in to interview Mr. Gleeful as we give him his money?"

"Hold please."

Then I press the button to Stan's office.

"What!" Stan snapped.

"There is a Mr. Gideon Pepper here from a TV show. He said that you won 1 million dollars."

"This isn't a joke."

"No sir."

"Where is he?"

"Outside of the gate..."

"ARE YOU AN IDIOT! LET HIM IN!"

"Yes sir."

Then I headed to the gate panel, "You can come in. He's expecting you." I replied.

Gideon gave a broad smile, "Great!"

Then I let Gideon and Cody came in.

"Stan is out of the office...and he left the door cracked open." Mabel replied in the radio.

"Guess he left in a hurry and forgot to close it all the way. Plan is going well. Going silence." I replied to the radio. Then I turned off the radio. Then I headed to the front doors and opened the doors. Gideon and Cody were there.

Before I could say anything, Stan was already there and he shoved me away, "So I heard I won some money!" He rubbed his hand greedily.

"Y-Yes sir!" Gideon replied.

"Well come right in! I don't know why my idiot guard didn't let you in!" Stan glared at me.

"O-Of c-course! Now we w-would like to..." Gideon glanced at me. I raised my eye brow, thinking that he forgot what he needed to say.

"Interview him? Didn't you say that?" I had to pick up the slack the moron gave me.

"Y-Yes..."

"Of course! Come right in! I guess he was star struck, like he should be." Stan boasted. "Come in! Come in! Let's head up to my office."

"No!" Gideon cried out.

Everyone looked at him.

I really wanted to face palm myself right now. He was such an idiot.

"Oh?" Stan raised his eye brow and folded his arms.

"I mean...I don't want to do the interview in a boring office. You are Stan Gleeful! You won 1 million dollars! We got to do it somewhere else that is more wow!" Gideon replied. I could see the sweat dripping down the sides of his face.

Oh we are all going to die.

Stan looked at Gideon weirdly.

This mean I had to stepped in. "This one has something, sir. It is true. You need a place that has a better back ground for the interview. Do you really want to be one of those people?"

Stan looked at me weirdly but at least he thought about it, "I guess you are right about that...I guess you aren't that useless. Alright let's go the sun room. Enough light and nature and what not...for the people..."

"Perfect."

"Well come in then."

I walk forward and lead them to the sun room. I opened the door to them and, of course, Stan came in first, "Well this is the sun room of my wonderful home. Of course it will be even more wonderful with the 1 million dollars." He rubbed his hands together. Then he faced Gideon and Cody, "Let's get started shall we. This wouldn't take long now would it?"

"O-Of course not..." Gideon trailed off, looking at me again.

Stan noticed this, "Why do you keep looking at him? Sure he's handsome but isn't this about me? You can get his phone number later."

Gideon's cheeks redden, "I-I wasn't...N-No you got th-that all wrong...I-I have a w-wife...h-he's not m-my t-t-type."

I rubbed my temple as the head ache was pounding my head. What a moron.

"Then what's the issue then?" Stan demanded.

"Uhhh..." Gideon trailed off.

"He doesn't know how to say this nicely...we don't want your body guard here for the interview. If that is possible." Cody stepped in.

Finally! Someone that is useful!

Stan looked at me, "I don't see why not. Scram Dipper."

I nod my head, "Of course."

Then I headed out, glaring at the two morons as I left. Then I closed the door of the sun room.

"M-Master are you sure th-this is a good i-idea?" Will asked as he came next to me.

"Well that is why you are going to stay here and make sure they don't do anything too stupid." I growled. I rubbed my head, "They are already digging up their own graves. Just watch over them and make sure they don't do anything stupid. I'm going up to the office."

Will nod his head, "Yes M-Master."

Then I headed up to the office. Mabel was already trying to go through the office.

"It's about time you showed up!" Mabel growled.

"Sorry, I had idiots to deal with. Find anything?"

"No. That blond girl didn't say that the secret button may not be here."

"What do you mean?"

"Well she said there was a secret button on the desk but there is nothing there."

"I'm sure there is something here."

"Well we don't have enough times."

"Well it's a good thing we have gloves on, huh?" I smirked.

"Very funny, brother."

Then we started to search through the office some more. There was a whole lot of crap. How could Stan work in a messy place like this? We started to go through his desk and the shelves. I growled in frustration, "There is nothing is this pile of crap!"

"Well if you were Stan, where would you put a secret button?" Mabel asked.

I thought back. If I was that crazy old man where would I put it? I scanned the room. There was nothing that I could see...There was a bust of this weird looking statue. Stan loved that thing even though it looked like some weird beaver or something that was gold...well more as brass but who cares. Stan loved that thing...maybe there was a button there.

So I headed to the bust and started to examine it. There was a tooth on the beaver thing that was shinier than the rest. I pressed on the button and it went in.

The shelf next to me opened up.

"Mabel." I called her.

Mabel came next to me with her eyes widen, "Look what you found here little brother."

"Don't call me that!" I growled.

Inside were objects. One was a whole lot of cash and some random weird objects...one of them...was this white crystal.

"That is the thing that Pacifica wanted." I commented. I reached out and held the crystal thing in my hand, "What is this?"

"Does it really matter? We can just give it the blondie and we get our way to rule the world." Mabel replied. Then she stopped, "What is this?"

Mabel reached in and pulled out a book.

"Why is a book so important?" I growled, "We don't have enough time for reading."

"I think you'll be interested in this book."

She showed me the book cover and my eyes widen. It was a book with a six fingered hand in the middle of it...with the number 4 on it.

Mwahahahahahaah! Admit it! You missed my cliff hangers! :p
