Pacifica POV

I slowly opened my eyes to the sound of beeping. I groaned as I felt really sick. "Pacifica?" A foggy voice asked. My vision cleared up and I saw that I was in the hospital room. Cody stood over me. He was a pale worried face as he looked over me, "Are you okay?" He gently brushed the back of his hand against my cheek and neck.

"W-What happened?"

"You passed out on blood lost and pain. We took you right into the hospital. They healed you...you'll be alright." He gave a small smile.

I slowly nod my head.

Then Cody pulled back his hand from my head, "So what did happened back there?"

"I...I was wrong...that's all..." I sigh. I then turn my head away from him, "Can we not talk about this?"

Cody nod is head, "Of course. You need to rest."

Then Gideon just came in with three cups of pudding.

"Oh Gideon you didn't have to." Cody replied.

Gideon stopped, "Oh...this...uh..."

I gave a small chuckled. He wanted the three puddings for himself, "You can have mine, Gideon. I'm not feeling really hungry."

Gideon smile widen a bit, "Thanks Pacifica."

Cody sighs as he lean back in the seat, "We got to tell the cops about what they did to you."

"No!" I snapped.

Both of the boys looked at me, like I was the crazy one. Then I sigh, "We can't. They are powerful people. I'm just luckily that I made it out with just a stabbed wound. If we tell the cops...then we all be dead. Are bodies won't be found and nothing will happen. We all lose. We just got to take this as a warning."

"A warning! Pacifica...don't you want to go home?"

I sigh, "T-there is nothing we can do...."

"Why do you say that?! I'm sure there is something we can do. I doubt that Dipper fell in love with you on the first day."

I thought about it, "No...But I did got him to question himself on the first day...twice."

"Twice?"

"Long story short...he had his memories erase so we meet twice."

"Huh."

I then sigh, "But not this time."

"What do you mean?" Gideon asked.

"He's dating someone else."

"Hey, what I like to say is...if there isn't a ring then they can be taken."

Cody glared at Gideon, "Not helping, Gideon! He's already taken!"

"Don't you want your real wife back? She has to get that Dipper to like her so he could help her. That is all she needs right now. Heck people dump their girlfriends or boyfriends to be with another all the time! That is what we need now."

Cody growled, "But he hurt her! I doubt that got him to question his feelings."

"Well some people are a harder nut to break."

"I don't think we should even worry about it." I muttered.

"What?" Cody and Gideon asked.

I looked up, "Well...Dipper isn't going to fall in love with me...we can't stop Stan and we can't do anything...just...we failed."

"We failed this day but we can do it tomorrow." Gideon replied, "Don't give up Pacifica."

I shook my head, "We can't win. We don't have anything! Stan has the company, money, fame, control and his perfect life with his great niece and nephew as his servants...with his brother."

"Brother? Stan doesn't have a brother." Gideon replied as he started to eat the pudding.

"Huh?"

"Well while you were resting I wanted to do some research on the Gleefuls to help with this 'mystery'. Stan doesn't have a brother."

"He has one...At least he used to. He's dead...but wait...Stan didn't want that. He wanted his brother alive but..."

Suddenly realization hit me, "Ford is still alive! Ford is trapped in the portal! Stan doesn't have journal number 3!"

I sat up and tried to get out of bed. Cody grabbed my arm and stopped me, "Whoa, what?"

"That is a reason why Stan let me go...I know where journal 3 is! He needs journal 3 to open the portal to get his brother out! He couldn't get everything he wanted!"

"What a smart guy!" Gideon commented.

"What?" Cody questioned.

I nod my head, "I almost missed it. There is a chance to do this!"

"Now hold on, you aren't going anywhere. I get it that you want to get to this right away, but you need to rest. Pacifica you've just been stabbed! You need to rest."

"But they could find it! they've been looking for it for years...they might just get lucky."

"Well you can't fight them like this. You are injured and you need rest."

"I have to find that journal to get Dipper back." Some tears gather in my eyes, "This is the only way to get him back."

Cody sighed, "I know...but you can't walk...not yet. The nurses say that tomorrow is when you can leave."

"Tomorrow could be too late?!"

"Actually no it's not." Gideon pointed out, "You see, Dipper and Mabel are always together when they are out of the house. Lately Mabel have been sick, so Dipper haven't been out of the house. Stan is never out of the house. We can waste a day to rest."

I sigh as I lean back in the bed, "O-Okay...If you say so."

Cody then sigh and nod his head. Gideon just continue to eat his pudding. Tomorrow...was a day that I couldn't wait....To find the journal and have something against Stan. He might have bruised my heart and soul...but I won't give up.

Dipper POV

I threw the dart and it hit right on target. I growled as the attempted to clear my mind didn't work. Will have been gone for a while. That stupid demon. He needed to hurry up! I can't wait any longer!

This girl...Blondie...something about her different. One she knew me...my name and the passcode. Then when I first appeared to her...she smile just a bit. Nobody smiles at me like that. The only smiles I get is the, 'oh my gosh! He's so handsome!' type of smile with lots of blush. Her smile was different. It was soft and tender...like she was happy to see me. Why would she do that?

Then Will suddenly appeared in the room, "M-Master Dipper."

"It's about time! How long does it take to get information!?"

"I'm s-sorry Master...Sh-She's hard to find. S-She's out of the n-normal system."

"She's a spy?!" I growled in anger.

"N-No. S-She's just a h-hippie."

"A hippie? What the heck is that?! I thought they were all from the 70's or something. They're still around?"

"A-Apparently."

"Well what else do you have on her?"

"H-Her name is Pacifica Southeast...p-parents are devoiced...been traveling around...I really don't know much details. H-Her files are just...gone."

I growled, "Nothing really on her..." Then I ran through my hair, "Will is this bad?"

"E-Excuse me sir?"

"To think a lot about a married woman?"

Will's eyes widen, "W-What?"

"She's married, moron! I saw the ring..."

"O-Oh...uh...W-Why do you c-care? Y-You have J-Julia."

"Yeah but something about it different."

"M-Master?"

"Not in that way, Cipher!" I growled, "I'm not going to be a part of an affair. That is just a mess I don't want. She'll be having an affair with me and I'll be cheating on her. It's just a mess that I could easily avoid it. No I'm more thinking of something else, you stupid demon."

"W-What d-do you mean?"

I sigh as I started to pace around, "She isn't like any other person out there. Everyone, you know what I really do, fear for their lives. She...She smiled. Well until I started to stab her...But then she knew my real name! A hippie found out what my real name is...I don't know how or why...But that means she is a spy or something yet she can't be a spy. A hippie aren't spies...they can't be? Unless it's a cover up. Could it be a cover up? This is all confusing...this is the first time I've been this confused...I don't know what to do Will."

Will didn't say anything at first. Then he spoke, "I-I don't k-know either M-Master. I don't know w-what you are m-meaning. S-So s-she's different? W-Why does it matter?"

"I don't know. Why does it matter?" I muttered to myself. I started to pace around some more. I ran through my hair in frustration, "Argh! Why is this so difficult!?"

"M-Maybe...b-because you don't w-want it to be r-real?"

I stopped pacing and thought about that, "I don't want it to be real?"

"Y-You know...w-with her and J-Julia. Y-You are stuck b-between the two. Y-You love Julia...and-and you are interested in P-Pacifica."

I looked at Will, "What?! I can't be a part of that! Y-You're wrong!"

Will quicker a little, "I-I'm just giving out an i-idea."

"Well it's a stupid idea." I growled, "I am not falling for someone else! I'm already with someone! I'm with Julia and we are running away together in three days!"

Will's eyes widen, "W-What?"

I groaned as I ran through my hair, now completely messing it up, "Julia wanted it..."

"D-do you want it?"

"...I don't know. I love Julia...Really I do but..."

"Th-there is y-your job...and P-Pacifica."

I growled, "I'm not falling for a married woman. I can't. Why would I do that?"

"S-She's different? Y-You liked that in g-girls."

I growled again, "But I'm with Julia...Are you sure this is romantic feelings?"

"I-I don't t-think it's th-there yet...just...wonder."

"Wonder..." I muttered.

I growled again, "Well this wonder needs to go away. How do I make it stop?"

"I-I don't know, Master. I-I d-don't know h-how to d-deal with love."

"Of course you don't, you are a demon." I muttered, "Well running away with Julia would get me away from all of this."

"D-Do you t-think r-r-running away is the b-best choice? W-With your g-great uncle and s-sister..."

"Stan can go boss Mabel around. That would straight that princess out. She won't fake sickness because she doesn't want to do anything. I'll get to relax and have some fun...have a normal life."

"I-Is that w-what you want? A n-normal life?"

"It's something new..."

"New is w-what you w-want?"

"I guess."

"I-I th-think that is w-what Julia w-wants."

I sigh, "With love you sacrifice."

Will slowly nod his head. I then sigh, "I don't know...just two more days practically...Then maybe this will all be over." Then I started to head to the room but stopped, "On and Will...we never had this talk. Don't tell anyone that we had this talk."

"O-Of course M-Master."
