Rey woke up to Rose shaking her gently. "Rey, Rey wake up!"

"Hm?" She asks as she yawns.

"What happened last night?" Rose asked, the floor was spotless, no clothing on the grown, her slippers next to the bed perfectly.

"Nothing" Rey yawned as she stretched her arms and pulled the covers away from her.

"What do you mean nothing ?" Roads asked.

"Nothing! Nothing ! No marriage bed, no kisses, no touching!" Rey said as she walked to her closet to pick out an outfit for the day.

"Woah, explain everything, how did it happen?" Rose asked as she helped Rey pull out a beautiful blue skirt and matching top.

"He came into the room two hours after you all left, he walked towards me and I thought, here it comes, he's going to kiss me" she told her friend as Rose helped her into a slip.

"Okay then ?" Rose asked as she started to put a corset on Rey.

"He walked past me into the bathroom and changed for bed. No big deal right? I figured he's tired and he's being wearing an uncomfortable suit all day and most likely doesn't wanna have me fumble with it. Then he comes out in his sleeping clothes, lays down in bed, turns off the light and then shuts his eyes" Rey explained as the laces of her corset began to be pulled.

"That doesn't make sense" Rose thought aloud.

"That's what I was thinking. So then I laid down on my side and he leaned over me like he was going to kiss me but he turned my light off, then turned his back to me and fell asleep, next thing I know you wake me up" Rey said with a sigh.

"Oh Rey"

"What am I gonna do?" Rey asked as she sat down at her vanity now in her gown. "My hair is still in my wedding braid... if Leia sees it she'll freak out"

"Okay here's what we're gonna do" Rose began "we're gonna get you ready and all, then I'm going to put your hair into a bun, it will just looked braided so she won't think that it's from yesterday then I'll ask Finn what" she then was interrupted.

"No, no one can know but you and Gwen and Jessika... If word got out some women can say she was pregnant or swoop him up, and since we never laid together he could get an annulment !" Rey exclaimed.

"Okay ... then the four of us will figure out maybe why" Rose said as gently began to pull the braid into a bun with pins.

Breakfast was odd. Leia happily was chatting along with Jessika and Poe at one end of the table. And Ben sat at his end reading the paper.

As Rose and Rey walked to their seats, Rose was next to Finn who sat on the left of Ben, Finn stood up and pulled the chair out for his wife. Rey waited for Ben to do the same until a butler came and did it for her.

"So!" Leia said everyone turning to face her.

"What are we all doing today?" She asked.

"I need to get to town, have a talk with Lor San Tekka about opening up some trade roots, Hux you'll accompany me correct?" Ben said as he went to take a sip of coffee.

"Sadly no, Gwendoline and I have a meeting with Millicent's tutor today and are talking of perhaps starting her on piano lessons" Hux said.

"Okay then" Ben took a pause "Poe? How about you?"

"Sorry, Jessika and I have an appointment with the midwife, hoping we can narrow down a date for the baby's birth" he said grabbing his wife's hand and kissing it gently.

"Okay Finn ? How about you?" Ben asked.

"Remember Ben, you asked me to meet with the local grounds crew to figure out a new road from here to town?" Finn replied.

"Ah yes" Ben nodded.

"Dear why don't you take Audrey?" Leia suggested. "It'd be good for you two to get away from the estate, until you can go on your wedding tour" she said.

"I doubt she'll want to be in a boring old carriage for four hours and be in on a stupid meeting" Ben said.

Rose then stomped Rey's foot and Rey's knee hit the table as Rose made eyes at her to say "go for it!"

"I don't mind" Rey said "in fact it will give me a chance to see Alderaan"

"Trust me it will be boring" Ben said as if he was trying to push her away, maybe he was.

"You two could always bring some food and drinks, some books. Oh Audrey you could bring your sketch book" Rose said.

"That sounds lovely ! An afternoon together for the newly weds ! Oh I have my maid send word to the kitchen to prepare a basket for the two of you. Audrey you should go to the library and pick out some books for the ride and while Benjamin is in meeting" Leia said.

"That does sound nice, I've been meaning to see what books you have here" Rey admitted, this wasn't a bad plan.

"Oh I know !" Jessika said "there's the most wonderful bakery near Lor San Tekka's office and a delicious sweet shop next door ! If you go could you bring me back some of their orange candies. Pregnancy makes me crave the oddest things"

"Well while she's there she'll get you some. We need to keep that baby plump" Leia said "I do hope I'll have a grandchild of my own by this time next year" Leia smiled looking at Rey lovingly.

Rey was dumbfounded, what should she say. Rose just sipped her coffee as to not look Rey in the face.

"Hopefully mother" Ben said as he continued to read his paper.

"Hopefully indeed !" Leia said with a cheery voice. "Nice and chubby like any baby should be !"

"Yes. Like any baby should be" Rey replied. Boy was she in for the long haul that afternoon.
