Shifu's POV:

It seemed as today would be a great day. Something seemed strange though, like something was going to happen, nothing bad, but something.

I let the feeling go and just continued on with the day. I enter the court yard to find the furious five sparring. Po seems to be doing good with teaching. I look over and see him talking to his biological father, he seems happier now than I have seen him before.

"How is it going with you lessons dragon warrior?" I ask.

"It is going great Master Shifu." he replied.

"That is wonderful. I have just come to check on how you were teaching, so I better be going now." I said.

"Aw, come on Master Shifu stay you are never around any more sense what happened with Kai. Come sit down and relax here, don't isolate yourself." Po said.

I didn't see any harm in it so I calmly sat down and watched.

Everything was calm and quiet. Then it happened, something crashed in the middle of the court yard. Everyone stopped what they were doing, alert and on guard from the sudden event.

The dust from the air finally cleared and what crashed was plainly visible. It was a hooded figure, he seemed to look around with what seemed to be recognition.

"Finally, I have returned." I heard him whisper.

"What do you mean you have returned." I replied.

"Just as I said I have returned, I have been here before." he replied.

"Do I know you then." I said.

"Yes and no." he said.

"What is that supposed to mean?" asked Po.

"It means he knows who I am, but he doesn't recognize me because of my hood." he replied.

"Then would you mind removing it." I asked.

"Only when you find out who I am will I remove the hood." he replied.

"How am I to figure out who you are with out seeing your face?" I asked.

"Look into your past. Only then will you realize who I am." he said.

"Mind giving me a hint. I don't know of anyone else that used to be here except three others." I replied to him.

He looked to me, those eyes seem familiar to me.

"Just because the past didn't turn out like you wanted it to, doesn't mean your future can't be better than you have ever imagined." he said.

Just then it hit me, it was him. After all these years he came back.

"Tao Khan, i-is that you?"
