Tao's POV:

My plan was going to be dangerous. It may be dangerous, but I will not let anything happen to my Meiying's parents. I bring out a scroll and start writing a note.

*Time skip(8 hours)*

The plan starts now. I call a guard, acting as if Meiying's mom was sick. The guard with the keys came up and I quickly grabbed the keys and his collar and knocked him out. I unlocked the cell door and Hui, Lian and I ran.

We ran and I fought all the guards in the way while Hui and Lian just ran. We were getting close to the door, when he came. Lord Dai, the leader of the scoundrels.

"And where do you think you are going?" he asked.

I turned to Hui and Lian.

"You guys listen to me, I will distract him and you guys run. You hear me, you guys get out of here and head northwest. You should arrive at the the Valley of Peace, go up the mountain there and get to the Jade Palace. There you will find Meiying as well as my parents. When you get there give this to Meiying, please." I said handing Lian the scroll.

"Tao, what about you?" Lian asked.

"Don't worry about me. Go, go reunite with your daughter." I said.

With that I ran towards Lord Dai and fought him. Hui and Lian did as I told and ran. I then saw hem run out the door and escape.

Lian's POV:

I can't believe Tao would do that for us. He is the most kindest soul I have ever met. And the selfless. Hui and I kept running until we were far enough from the building we could stop for a breath.

"What will happen to him? We escaped while he stayed and fought. He saved us." I said.

'It is ok, he will be o-" he was interrupted.

We looked back to a huge explosion. The building Tao was in was now gone, and Tao was in there.

"Oh, why, why must such a selfless soul like Tao die in such a horrible way!?" I exclaimed, crying. Tao died to save me and my husband just so we could see our daughter again.

"I don't know my love. I just don't know." said Hui.

With that we started our journey to the valley of peace. We could not let Tao die in vain.

*Time skip(A couple of days later)*

We made it to the valley of peace. It is such a beautiful place and it is full of other animals greeting each other and hugging.

Hui and I looked up to see the mountain that held the Jade Palace and held our daughter and Tao's parents. Tao's parents will be heart broken when we tell them the news.

We get to the steps that lead to the palace and start our journey up.

When we get to the top we open knock on the entrance doors to the Jade Palace and our daughter opened the door.

"M-mom, d-dad, i-is that really you guys?" she asked.

"Oh, Meiying, my little Meiying, we missed you so much." I said.

"Mom! Dad! I missed you guys to." she exclaimed.

Just then two other tigers came up.

"Mom, dad, I would like you to meet Chen Li and Jia." Meiying said.

"So you two are Tao's parents." I said.

"You know Tao?" asked Jia.

I looked down in shame. How are Hui and I going to break the news to them.

"We knew him. We met him when those gorilla guards brought him to the same cell we were in." I said.

"Wait, you two were captured by those guys and made prisoners? I thought they killed all of the other tigers." said Chen Li.

"No, they imprisoned us." said Hui.

"Wait, you said you knew him. What happened?" asked Meiying.

"Before I say anything, he wanted us to give you this." I said, handed Meiying the scroll.

Tigress's POV:

I took the scroll and opened it up. I read it aloud:

Dear Meiying, Mom and Dad,

If you are reading this, then I am sad to say that I did not make it out alive from that prison but Hui and Lian did. I met them when I was thrown in the same cell as them. Meiying, you have amazing parents and if I could I would have been there to see the expression on your face when you reunited with them. Mom, dad, I am sorry we had such a short reunion, but that short time was the best time I was ever given. I hope you guys will move on and not mourn me for long. I am undeserving of your tears. And Meiying, the day I met you from the day where I introduced you to my parents were the happiest days I have had. I am sorry I couldn't be there now.

I couldn't believe it. Tao was gone. The one I love is dead. I looked at my mom and dad with tears in my eyes. They were the same.

I couldn't take it any more, I dropped the scroll and ran to my room, jumped on my bed and cried out to the world.
