Tigress's POV:

I can't believe I am all alone in the Jade Palace with Tao. I can't believe that he broke my wall around my heart that I built so long ago and in such a short time. Ever since I spoke with Viper, I have been thinking about what she said and now came to realize it was true. I was in love with Tao.

I need to come up with how to tell him or if I should at all. I don't want to ruin our friendship that we have. But I need to get this off my chest and confess.

I see Tao in the kitchen, he was eating tofu and minding his own business. I walked in and sat next to him.

"Hey, so what do you think about staying here while the rest go out?" asked Tao.

"I don't mind, Shifu had his reason to have us stay. We are the strongest and most responsible on the team." I replied.

I am getting flustered already on the inside. His voice is so pure and deep. His body was just ripped, yet slim at the same time. I decide I should tell him, I need to get it out before I go crazy.

"H-hey Tao, I-I have something t-that I need to tell you." I said.

"What is it?" he asked.

"Well, I don't know how to say it but. Never mind, just forget about it." I said, changing my mind.

"Come on Tigress, you can tell me. It is not like I will laugh at you and shoot you down. Now what do you have to say?" he said.

"It's just that this month with you here has been life changing for me and ever since you got here I felt strange. I went to Viper to see if she knew what and what she told me, I have come to realize is true." I said.

"What?" Tao said.

"I-I-I am, uh, I am in love with you." I said quickly.

I just see him smile and stare at me for a bit.

"I have to say this Tigress, I knew that when I saw you, that you were going to be a big part of my life. But, I could never predict that it would be in this way. I am in love with you to." he replied.

"Really, I don't see why." I said.

"Hey, don't say that. You are beautiful, and not just that, you are strong, smart, and I know you don't really show it most of the time, caring." he said.

"Thank you." I said blushing.

"No problem." he replied. "So is Tigress actually your real name? Sorry if I am protruding into something like that, it is just unusual for a tigress to be named after what they are."

"That is the only name I know of. The orphanage kept calling me that, so I just took that as my name." I said.

"You know what I think?" he said.

"What?" I asked.

"I think you were named something else before you were at the orphanage." he said.

"Like what?" I asked him, interested in what he had to say next.

"I don't know. But I bet you that if we go back there we might find out." he said.

"I-I don't know about that. I never liked that place." I replied.

"Come on Tigress, if we go there it might bring you closure to your past and you could move on from that part of your life." he said. " Plus something could have been left with you when you were left at the door of that orphanage."

"Ok, you convinced me lets go."
