Prologue
It is 1827. As the first rays of sunlight painted the azure sky, the residents of a bustling town began their daily routines. A massive wooden ship stood tall by the docks, its captain and crew preparing for a voyage. The morning air echoed with the melodic chime of bells, signalling the departure as the sails unfurled and the vessel set sail, guided by the skilled hands of the seafarers.
Away from the waterfront, the countryside came alive with the harmonious rhythm of agricultural labour. Women ventured into the fields, plucking ripe vegetables from the earth, while men sowed seeds, nurturing the promise of future harvests. The brown landscape turned vibrant with greenery as the diligent farmers tended to their crops and cared for their animals.
The wind carries a refreshing breeze that sweeps across towns and villages. In the centre of the bustling streets, skilled blacksmiths toil over fiery forges, shaping and hammering molten metal into glistening swords. Nearby, potion makers stir cauldrons, concocting glowing brews and elixirs. The marketplace thrives with activity, where vendors and merchants passionately display their wares, enticing customers to buy what they sell.
The tranquil fields resonate with the blaring galloping of horses, their powerful hooves kicking up dust behind them. Above them, the skies transform into a realm of wonder and awe as dragons and wyverns soar through the air, their scales shimmering in vibrant shades as they engage in playful races, beating their wings through the clouds. They fly high above a plateau, where a neighbourhood nestles atop.
Perched atop the plateau, the town's streets bustled with life. Along the pavement, a girl strolled as her footsteps echoed against the cobblestones. She reached her home and ventured inside. Ascending the stairs and navigating the winding hallway, she turned left and entered her bedroom. She immediately saw an easel standing with a blank canvas awaiting her inside.
