Jack, Jane and the kids got back from their trip as they adjusted to their routines again, but with a new start of what they promised each other on this trip.

Jack spent more time at home than he did at his office now, which Jane always looked forward too as she stayed at her office less than she used to as well.

The kids loved the new routine their parents made because this new change made them all get closer to being a family of four again as they spent less time at friends houses too.
    
It was the weekend again and Fall was finally in the air as the leaves began to change and the air was more crisp and cold than hot and they went on their family vacation.

Jack awoke to the sound of the alarm clock blaring as he turned over and clicked the button.

“I must have forgot to turn it off before going to bed last night.” Jack said to himself while rolling back over to his side as he seen Jane, still asleep as she looked peaceful.

He admired the beauty and adored little smile etched on her face as she slumbered like she always did.
She moved closer to him, putting her head into the crook of his neck and he kissed her forehead while playing with her curls from her shower the night before.

“Good morning beautiful.” He whispered in her ear as she smiled, while his arm was wrapped around her middle.

“Good morning handsome.”

“How’d you sleep?”

“Wonderful. How about you?”

“Better than I have in awhile.”

“Same. Now, what would you like to have for breakfast?”

“Let me cook breakfast for you.”

“No honey, I’ll make breakfast for us the kids.”

“Janie, I’ll get it. You deserve a break from everything.” He said, catching Jane's expression.

“You haven’t called me Janie since college.”

“I’ve called you Janie plenty of times since then baby.”

“I guess it’s been so long since I remember. My mind has been fuzzy here lately.”

“You refused to go to the doctor on vacation last week when I mentioned it to you the third time, so why don’t we go and see our doctor here.”

“Jack, I’m fine honey. I don’t need to go see the doctor.”

“Jane, please quit being so damn stubborn and let’s go see our doctor, please?”

“Fine! I’ll go but like I told you last week and just a minute ago, I’m fine.” Jane said as she walked away and went to get ready for the day.

“Yeah, you say that.” Jack muttered to himself.

Jack went downstairs to see Connor and Raegan on their phones as he set out to make breakfast.

“Good morning kids.”

“Morning.” Connor said

“Good morning daddy.” Raegan said, sounding just like Jane.

A few moments later, Jane came down to greet her kids as Jack put his apron on and the kids laughed at him.

“Don’t expect me to kiss the cook.” Connor said as he got up and left the kitchen.

“I will.” Raegan said as she kissed his cheek and walked out.

“Mrs. Montgomery?”

“Oh me?” Jane teased him.

“Yes you.” Jack gently pulled her close to him.

He pressed his lips to hers as they started out in a slow, passionate kiss until someone cleared their throat.

“And that’s how we were made.” Connor said to Raegan.

“You do know kissing is only the beginning of the process of having kids.” Raegan said

“Y’all won’t be makin' us grandparents any time soon, so no talk of having kids.” Jane said

“Connor might. He and his girlfriend seem pretty serious.”

“Y’all are freshmen in high school and Connor son, keep it in your pants.” Jack said as Jane gave him a look.

“Your father is right kids. Do I need to give y’ all “the talk” again?”

“No, thank you mama.”

“Then, I suggest you bury your head in a book and get an education before you even think about making me a grandma before you even grow facial hair.” Jane said

“What about Raegan?”

“She knows all too well about what will happen if she decides to have sex before she’s old enough to want a boyfriend.”

“What’ll happen?” Jack asked his wife.

“We had this discussion before we gave our kids the sex talk.”

“Connor, the girls you like now, might not be the ones you like after this year.”

“But I love my girlfriend.”

“You don’t even know what love is son.”

“Yes I do dad.’’

“Oh really? What is love then?”

“You and mama.”

“We learned from the best.”

After breakfast, Jane was going over some paperwork that her boss had emailed her as she felt Jack massage her shoulders, back and neck.

“Paperwork on a Saturday?” Jack asked as Jane smiled.

“There isn’t too much to do.”

“Well then, how about we go upstairs?” He whispered in her ear and kissed her neck.

“What about my appointment?”

“I forgot today was Saturday, I will make one for you Monday.’’

“Well, we have church tomorrow and Monday, another great day of work.” Jane said as Jack took the hint of her sarcasm.

“And another long week.”

“I’ll be glad when my boss can find his replacement.”

“Jane, he’ll ask you till you say yes.”

“And I’m not going to. I firmly told him no and that’s my final answer.”

“You’re the greatest boss I’ve ever known.”

“And you better believe it.” She said as she got up.

"Come on boss." Jack took her hands into his as they walked towards the staircase and he kissed her forehead.

He placed a kiss on her lips as they walked quietly up the stairs to their room and locked the door.

Jack took the initiative of carefully massaging her inner thighs, she liked the soft touch of when he made love to her, not too rough and not too fast either.

They started a slow burn of intimate kisses as he laid back so she could sit on top of him.

“Let’s take this off.” Jack said as he unhooked her bra.

“Cloth prison is what I like to call it.”

“You have them pretty high up there.”

“It’s not my fault. I got them from breastfeeding two babies and they have stuck with me since.”

“I’ll never know what it feels like.”

“Unless, you decide to become a woman.”

“I would not make a very good woman honey.”

“I think you would.”

“You’re the only one I want baby doll.”

“You were really serious about a new start, weren’t you?”

“I promised you that we would after we got back home and I would never break it.”

“Well then, let’s put it to use.”

“How you like to start?”

“By giving me a kiss.” 

“I can do that.”

“I love you.”

“I love you more Janie.”

They made love for awhile and relaxed, talking about old memories and new ones they would like to make, for the first time in a long time, they felt like it was a new start of something they’d always wanted to do.

The new beginning of starting over again, maybe something they’d already done or not, but whatever it is, they were happy with what was their future.
