Melinda's POV

Honestly I do not know what is going on with me these days. I swear every time I am with Ross I tend to forget that this is all suppose to be to get Henry back....yeah I must be going crazy because there is no way I actually like Ross.

He opens the car door for me and I get inside and he gets in the driver's seat not long after. He turns the key to start the car but nothing. "For fuck sakes you have got to be kidding me" he says while banging his hand on the steering wheel. "What is happening right now?" I ask hoping that we are not stuck. "I am sorry Mels but we are kind of stuck" he puts his face down after saying that. No please tell me I am dreaming because what the hell.

"So what we are stuck in the middle of the forest!?" I quickly pick up my phone, oh and of course it's off just my luck. "Look okay my family's cabin isn't far from here we can spent the night there." spent the night? with him..... "I don't know can't we just try to make it out of here on foot back to the café. He looks at me and shakes his head while laughing. "Angel I am trying to stay alive okay. I am not trying to get eaten by some bear." his chuckle gets louder.

He opens the car door and I do the same as we both step outside the car I look up and see lightning from far ahead. "Do you think we will make it to the cabin before it starts raining?" I asked feeling like its better if we just staying in the car. "The rain might reach the cabin before we do if we keep standing here. Come Angel." he puts out his hand for me to take and I just take it without hesitation because I am terrified.

As we start walking it starts getting darker and darker and I didn't even notice that I was squeezing Ross's hand. "I love your touch and all Angel but please chill out on the squeezing because my hand might just burst." he looks at me smiling and I loosen my grip. And he stops walking and looks directly at me then turns his back towards me and goes down a bit. "Hop on my back." and I am so shocked as to why he is offering me that.

"What no, its okay I can walk you don't have to." I really hate having to feel like somebody's burden. Especially because Henry always made me feel like it most of the time. "Melinda get on my back I will not ask you twice. Besides you are walking slow anyway. If you don't get on I will toss you on like a bag of potatoes. So what's it going to be?" he sounds so different when his being hard and stern. It's pretty hot.

And with that I get on his back. I wrap my arms over his shoulder and he supports the rest of my body by putting his arms under my thighs. And I swear I heard him chuckle under his breath. Cocky. And he starts walking. We walked for roughly about 10 minutes.

"So your family owns a cabin?" I ask curiously. "Yeah we usually come down here during the summer though. We spent half of the summer down here." and with that I see the cabin up ahead and Ross sets me down.

We walk up to the gate, which is guarded by a security guard. "Hey there Michael how are you?" Ross greets the man. And he smiles back and gets up from his chair inside his station. "Ross your back, who are you with this time? Oh is it Sam." Sam??? and there are other girls? why am I even surprised.

"Uhhm no this is Melinda. My car acting up so we spending the night" he quickly shuts down the topic of other girls. "Sure right." Michael says while laughing and winks at Ross, which irritated me so bad because I am not no one night stand bitch.

He hand Ross the keys and he walks up to the cabin door and opens it. He walks in and I follow and he closes the door behind me. "Welcome home sweetheart." he says while smiling and I am definitely not feeling the stupid mood he is feeling. "I think you mean welcome to Amy's home or was it Sam?" I shot back with anger in my tone. And he just stood there and sighed.

"It shouldn't be a big deal come on this was a long time ago." he answered back and heads towards the kitchen and opens the fridge and takes out a beer. "Yeah you're right because I bet you think I am just like them, but you're wrong." he sips his beer "That's real funny because if I know myself well, and I do its girls that want me that entertain me and last time I checked you're entertaining me like all my other "flings" right now." and he sips his beer again.

"Wow. You know what your right I am just like the rest but you know what I don't spread my legs in 2 seconds like the rest. Asshole." his expression looks guilty for a second then he just sips his beer and leans back against  the kitchen counter. I give him one last glare and with that I walk out to the door and open it. "Where you going?" Ross yells from behind me and I shut the door behind me.

As I walked behind the cabin to the garden, rain started drizzling down and I wasn't paying attention to where I was heading that's when I just heard a splash and I felt my body sink and I was under water and the rain started pouring down heavily.

And I was Drowning...
