Ross's POV: 

*Earlier that day

Melinda has been acting strange overly too kind. She has also been checking her phone way too much. Luckily I caught the password to her phone at the corner of my eye while we were eating breakfast. I head to bedroom and start making the bed. In the corner of my eye I see her phone connected to the charger, I can hear the water still running so I quickly make my way to her phone and unlock it. 

I open the message app and see that she was talking to Amanda for some reason I click to open the chat and she sent a video. The place looks like the cafe. When I turn the volume up I hear Ben and Dan talking...about the dare. So she knows the truth. But then why did she not confront me? Why is she not upset? Or maybe she doesn't believe it but then why does she want to see Amanda? I have no idea why Ben keeps calling on my off day but I really have no time for this.

"What?!" I try answering in the best hushed tone as possible. "You need to get here right now." I put the phone in between my ear and shoulder while plugging in Melinda phone back in the charger. "It is my off day, why would I come in." What am I going to tell her when she asks me about the video? "Wait hold on did Amanda come by the cafe today?" The water has stopped running so I have to really talk softly. "Yeah why? Listen Dan just ruined things." I should probably go into work then. "I will be there Ben stop yapping about just get Dan in order." 

I go into my message app and text Dan that he messed everything up. "Hello! Did you hear me? Blaze" She claps in my face silencing my mind. I need to get to the cafe as soon as possible. " I heard you sorry Ben just called me into work. I will call you later. " I kiss her cheek brushing past her and head for the shower. Between Melinda knowing and Dan being the reason for her knowing I don't know what is stressing me out more. 

I can not wrap my head around why she is composed. Does she really not care like that because that would be great because it will make ending this easier...for her at least. As for me once I end this my life will be filled with stagnancy, I will live just to live. I have been through heartbreak once before so this time it will be a walk in the park. It will not affect ME. "Bye Mel." I shout out the shower as I see her flash past the bathroom door, her not responding makes me warry. She must have been nice for only a while to make sure that I do not suspect anything. 

At the cafe 

"Get in here now!" Ben yells from the kitchen, the cafe is empty just three of the staff cleaning tables and only Ben is in the kitchen. "What? You know it's my off day so why have you called me in?" Ben looks over the doors to make sure that no one is listening in. "You are so cooked man. You need to call off this dare thing." He paces around while holding his head in his hands. "Why would I do that?" I blurt out causing him to stop the pacing. "Are you dense? Dude I am pretty sure that Amanda knows something which means its only a matter of time before she tells Melinda." I know he is trying to be quiet but he is doing a horrible job. 

"Mel already knows so calm down." He settles down and relaxes a bit. "Oh sh*t. So what did you say, did she end it?" He holds my shoulder as a means to comfort me. "She said nothing and I said nothing." He looks at me confused. "What does that mean?" "She never confronted me, I found out myself when I looked through her phone." He laughs into his fist. "You are going through a woman's phone now wow Yasmine did a number on you huh?" I shrug off his hand from my shoulder.  "Man shut up.".

"Amanda sent that video and Mel did not confront me maybe she just doesn't care." He laughs some more. "What's funny?" "As a guy with three older sisters, that girl is plotting your death as we speak." The sureness in his voice actually is making me rethink a bit. "You think so?" I ask to be confirmed if whether or not to strategize a plan to save myself. "I should dump her before she gets the chance to formulate anything, yeah?" I look to see if he agrees with me. "I don't know man. Why not apologize and say that you do not mean it?" He can not be serious right now. "After I was her rebound? Why should I feel guilty, we are both a lesson to one another." 

"I hear you but also I am trying to stay in Amanda's good books." "Where does Amanda fit in any of this?" I ask confused. "She will definitely not want anything to do with me if my best friend screwed over her girl." "She did not think twice before recording you and throwing you under the bus along with me." I can not believe he is siding with a girl he just met. "Of course she will snitch because it concerns her friend. Would you not do the same if I was in the situation?" Not the same situation in my eyes. Personally it is none of my business. "Boss there is a problem inside, they are asking for you." He nods to Mandy to shows he has heard her. "Get dress and get to work." He walks out the kitchen leaving me alone. I really hope Dan is coming in today because I need to give him something he has been asking for. 

I have been texting Melinda but she has not been responding, it now is really getting on my nerves. Dan walked in hour ago and his presence has been annoying me, walking around with no care after he just screwed me for the second time now. When we close up the cafe I head for the change room walking towards Dan. Before he can say anything I punch him in the face knocking him off his feet. "What the f*ck man?!" He gets up to his feet and punches me in the gut. I punch back and he drags me to the ground with him. We tussle on the ground before Ben and Mandy pull us apart. 

"Mandy you can head home, I will text you later." Mandy leaves the room leaving the three of us alone. "You can not fire me, especially since your d*ck head of a friend started it." Ben looks at me and sighs. "You ruined everything with that dare you know that." I shout as best as I can as to not tear my lip more than it is already. "I ruined it how when you completed it?" I look to Ben in confusion. "Completed it? How do you know that?" Ben fishes for information. "Melinda's Snapgram status has been changed to single and she has been posting sad stuff all day." What?! 

When I check for myself its true. What the hell did she just do. Did she just dump me? "Looks like you are not weak after all Blaze I mean after what Yasmine and I did to you." I get up from the ground and head for the door. Ben calls out to me but I don't turn to look back. I drive straight to Mel's house, she is going to explain what the hell she is up to.

I hope her mom is already out for her shift. When I arrive I see a car I don't recognize in the driveway. Its not her mother's or Yasmine's Dad. So then who is here? I knock on the door but there is no response. I decide to just walk in since the door is already unlocked. "Melinda!" I shout out. She comes running down the stairs in her pajama's with puffy eyes and her bonnet half on. "Why are you here?" She sounds like she has the flu. "I am-" I am distracted by her ex Harry walking down the stairs with his boxer and his shirt unbuttoned. "The f*ck is this sh*t here? MEl?!"
