(Intro) A Flash from the Past [not edited]
I stood inside the principals office, hands behind my back, and staring emotionless at her behind her desk. My brown hair partially in my face blocked my view of the left side of the room, covered in shut windows which allowed the heat to circulate the room during January's brisk weather. The room was spacious, probably only seeming that way from the tan paint, the furniture placement, and the fact I had Benn in the middle of the room. I was standing between the usual two seats in front of Mrs. Palmerks' desk against the wall with her behind it, in her dark throne-like seat, head down as she stared at my graded essay... and other papers in her hand on top of the work space. A computer to the right of her hand, a name plate in front of her, organized folders neatly placed which held paperwork and other necessities. Then there had been other trinkets I couldn't remember and a calendar that everyone in this school knew she never used.
Her head, finally, after being tilted toward the slightly wrinkled papers (because she had done so) for awhile looked up at my, I admitted it, unnatural colored eyes through glasses. They hid her own hazel eyes, with a slight frown, and blonde hair that adjusted to her movement in it's messy bun, only to have spoken to my standing figure (Of course she was mildly upset that I refused to sit down, answering "It's your decision.") with an obvious tone of distaste.
"Miss Allen, being a junior in this school, with such a high capability like your own, why do you wish to end your education? While I understand you went to school on your trip, as well as graduating there, you must finish here in order for it to count by our standards. I personally do not wish to lose such an exemplary student, an 105 on an essay that most could not reach, and I love that you made it almost fictional by what you wrote about seeing learning as 'training to fight others'.... Though you want to leave?"obviously she was not done as she paused to clasp her hands together after putting down the papers, she continued, "I do not think I can accept this."
I found this mildly entertaining, as if she could stop it from happening, all she wanted was keep her 'legendary' prodigy inside the school, to give the school bragging rights, that was the only reason I seemed to see. She refused to allow me to skip any grades, just like middle school, which tried to hold me back. I moved my arms to open the folder I brought with me, opening in fowards the puppet master herself, slowly of course, in order to cause her impatience to rise while I was speaking.
"Frankly Mrs. Palmerks I can leave already, I did not need to even step into the building when I came back from the trip you sent me on two days ago, I just wanted to. It changed me for the better, I even got a job away from the attention seeking, power hungry people that roam and hide in every crevice of the world. I learned to speak up, act on my knowledge, and speak with my intellect. Though I prefer not to for underestimating others makes that my job much easier." Her face was covered in shock, disgust, anger, and more but I was not finished, as I shut my diploma, I continued.
"Now Mrs. Palmerks have a good day! I shall see you at the ten year high school reunion! Thank you for allowing me to graduate and pursue my dreams."
Curtsying I made my way to the door with a bounce in my step, as the principal sputtered along opening and closing her mouth. I was no longer part of the prison she ran... now to get off of it's grounds.

The bell for lunch B rang as the students exited the classrooms, three in particular walked through the main hall to have seen Memorie exit the principal's office, then ran towards her shouting. Her head turned as she smiled and ran up to them as well, shoulders relaxing while the assistant gaped at her back, the meeting in mind.
"Sorry guys, I know you've missed me, and I miss you guys too, but I graduated from Parere Rayol High on the trip getting my diploma and everything! I don't want to be here if I don't have to be, I'm escaping. So I shall see you guys when you get out today Yeah?"
"Sure Morie," The female started.
"How about" Continued the male with his arm around the female stated, pecking her cheek after.
"a movie at your place?" Finished the male by Memorie.
This was common unfortunately, for they were almost always together known as misfits, all four of them in fact. The brainiac, a lazy couple, and the artsy guy were the 'titles'. This was what Memorie thought as she smiled, nodded, then sent them off the lunch, unknown to them that they would not be seeing each other that night.
