you are waiting line impatiently in the line to enter the venue

"oh come on" you say expecting no one to hear you

"you and me both" the person in front replies

"did you know he is going to pick one of us to do a duet with him"

"really I hope he chooses one of us my name is (Y|N) by the way" you reply

"my name is Debi what is your seat number?" she asks

"14B what's yours?" you respond

"14A that's good we are sitting together oh look the line is moving" she says as she shuffles forward

"let's be friends Debi" you declare

"ok here is my number" she replies giving a piece of paper which you immediately program in to your phone as the line crawls forward

"thanks Debi here is mine" you say as you text her the number

"no problem now what is your favourite George Ezra song and you can't say all of them" she asks wanting to get to know you a little more

"well since you said I can't say all of them I would pick blame it on me because that was the first song of his I listened to" you reply

thirty minutes later and you and Debi have almost made it to your seats

"14C oh here is my seat and your seat" you say as you sit and point out stead 14A

"thank you (Y|N)" she says as she sits down next you.

three minutes later and George Ezra walks on stage and there is a deafening roar of cheers

"ok everyone we need to get down to business" he says as he scans the crowd for the lucky person to do the duet with

"can the person in 14B please come on stage" he is looking directly at you and you can not believe that he picked you. You look at Debi with a really surprised look

"he did pick seat 14B" Debi says as you get up

"I know I'm going" you utter with complete surprise

A minute later and have made it on stage

"so first of all what is your name" he asks as a stage hand quickly passes you a microphone

"my name is (Y|N)" you say timidly

"it's ok (Y|N) we are going to sing the song Shotgun" he says as the music starts and a wail of applause follows

"home grown alligator" he starts singing

"see you later" you sing as best as you can with your heart racing

Four minutes later and you and George have finished the duet of a lifetime

"so (Y/N) how do you feel after singing" he asks but you are speechless

"I take it you enjoyed it" he sums up how you are feeling because you are not talking. You just nod

Another minute later you are back in your seat

"you were so amazing" Debi says basically fangirling at your voice

"it was nothing George's voice was better" you say embarrassed
