STUFF
Played on my phone, watched YouTube, and played harmonica, kalimba, and ukulele.

PRESENT
Wrapped a present for a theater friend and wrote him a card.  Doodled on the wrapping paper.  Gatlin was with me and he thought everything was a snack LOL.

BF
Went to BF's house.  We played Detroit: Become Human, then talked about politics.

PARTY
Got ready and went to my friend's goodbye party.  He's going back to college in another state.  I gave him the present (a pillow with our state sewn on it) and he seemed to like it.  There were only a couple people there at first, and I chatted for a few minutes, but then most of them sat really close together at the table.  I was invited to sit at the "cool table" with them, but I chose to social distance, so no one really talked to me after that.  It was hard to talk to them too because they were wrapped up in their own conversation, plus we aren't super close.  As a result, I just played on my phone most of the time, looking up every couple seconds to see if anyone did want to chat.  It was very awkward.  I asked my mom to pick me up, and she said she would, but then she got busy.
Some more people came and one person talked to me for a while.  That was good.  However, his brother was there with him and he stared at me across the campfire a lot.  That made me uncomfortable.  I didn't make eye contact.
Soon everyone was cooking hot dogs.  I declined because I'm vegetarian.  My friend's parents offered to get me a salad, but I thanked them and said it was all right because I was heading out soon.  Fortunately, my mom was able to get there this time.  BF had offered to pick me up, but it was too late at that point.
I wasn't anxious that whole time and I'm glad.  However, it was super awkward.  I did my best to be polite, but I bet I still looked really rude.  Whatever.  I know I'm not (at least, I try not to be) and that my real friends understand.  Speaking of friends, I messaged some when I got home just to say hi.  I appreciate them.  Meanwhile, I'm happy with just myself and BF.  We're good and I'm good.  My life is going in the right direction, with or without a big social circle.
