Which Hogwarts House would they be sorted into? #1
Hello one and all! I know you've been waiting patiently, and here it is! The requested segment from the April riddle!
This was requested by my good friend SpyroAndToothless, whom I suggest you go over and follow him if you enjoy highly detailed and complex stories with the occasional and often ridiculously random references to franchises and memes!
Anyway, sine this is the very first time anyone has requested I do the Hogwarts Houses themed segment for my Random book, let me take time to tell you all how this will work.
Surely many of you are aware of the book/movie series, Harry Potter, or of its other related story, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. If you happen to be a fan of this franchise, then good for you, you should probably go to this Wattpad profile here: PotterClub.
In the Harry Potter series, it is well known that, in order to be fully integrated into the Hogwarts School of Wizarding, you must first attend a special meeting which will determine which House you fall into so that you have the opportunity to seek your full potential. Think of it as being sorted into one of your school's top popular fraternities or something like that. You are sorted into one of four Hogwarts Houses by the sentient Sorting Hat, who searches through your psyche, personality, and traits to determine which House you fall into.
Obviously I can't do a perfect job for the hat, but I can certainly try! After all, I enjoy personality driven tests and quizzes, hence part of my reasoning for making these segments. So how about we get started already?
Now you've probably noticed I haven't mentioned who my pal ST requested for this segment yet. Well, that's because she's a... um... special case. (Chuckles nervously) But, hope you don't mind having such a heroine being included in our roster of characters. Ladies and gentlemen, today's segment is for none other then One Punch Man's most powerful esper, Tatsumaki!
Now with introductions out of the way, let's evaluate the traits needed to be in one of the four Hogwarts Houses!
Gryffindor
Gryffindor is considered the best of the Hogwarts Houses and is highly respected for their powers in wizardry. These red and gold clad individuals are represented by the powerful lion, and though sometimes reckless, short-tempered, and possibly too courageous for their own good at times, they are also daring and chivalrous at heart.
Would Tatsumaki fit in here? I say she has a good chance to be in Gryffindor to be honest. Sure Tatsumaki can be the worse person to hang around, with her anti-social attitude and her lack of empathy, but the fact she takes the path of a hero seriously is most honorable. She perhaps takes her job alittle too seriously, since she is in fact a workaholic and would rather search out any available monsters to strike down without he help of the Hero Association. And one could say she does have a sense of nerve, short-temper, and even self-righteousness to an extent. She is also considered brave and fully confident in her powers, granted maybe TOO confident, but Gryffindor students themselves can be over-confident at times.
Hufflepuff
Hufflepuff- aka the most underrated House of Hogwarts aka the house I personally fall under myself. These yellow and black clad students are represented by the badger and are the most empathic and modest of Hogwarts. They follow a moral code and are able to tell right from wrong. They're also inclusive compared to the other Houses, likely working into their modesty of their work.
To be honest, Tatsumaki isn't all that likely to be sorted into Hufflepuff. What she does share with the House is perhaps her sense of work work work, since she is a confirmed workaholic like I have stated before. She may also have a sense of dedication and to an extent loyalty since she considers her job as a hero her duty and, though she more often then not hates her fellow heros, does have a mutual respect for some of them such as the Child Emperor for his intelligence. Plus the fact that she hasn't out-right killed any mortal heroes despite her temper really says something.
Note I said "mortal" heroes... And even then, she only attacked Zombieman because she was drunk to oblivion. Don't ask. 😧
Anyway, other then everything I've stated, I highly doubt the Tornado of Terror would be in Hufflepuff. I mean, it's no secret she isn't entirely empathic even when it comes to her own sister.
Ravenclaw
Ravenclaw, the brains and steel-nerved of Hogwarts. They value knowledge and talent above everything else, as well as their wit and originality. These dark blue and black clad students are represented by the raven... or the eagle if you're to believe the movies. Yeah it's a meme and a joke don't worry about it. 😧
Honestly, Ravenclaw would probably be the least likely House Tatsumaki would be sorted into. I'm not saying Tatsumaki isn't intelligent by all means! And I imagine the esper likely has a fair sense of wit. It's just... learning isn't exactly on Tatsumaki's list of important things. And even Tatsumaki disregards the Child Emperor's logic as seen during the fight against Boros' forces, and is still susceptible to sneak attacks from behind. She does value talent- namely her own- above most matters, and she's infamously prideful in her power, so she isn't entirely not capable of being a Ravenclaw. She just has about as much a chance to be a Ravenclaw as she does to be a Hufflepuff... if not less. (This would probably put her even more at ends with Raven, but that's another story for another time)
Slytherin
Slytherin are often considered the worse of the Houses due to the amount of evil and dark wizards and witches that have come from Slytherin. However, this doesn't mean they're all evil. Otherwise they wouldn't be a Hogwarts House at all. These green and silver clad folk are represented by the slithering snake and are known for their cunning and ambition. They are extreme rivals with Gryffindor in just about everything that goes on in Hogwarts.
Let's see here: A sense of self-assurance, check. Confident in themselves, check. Determination, check. "Can" be loyal, check. A certain disregard for the rules, CHECK!
Ladies and gentlemen, I am personally convinced that Tatsumaki would be a Slytherin! She's extremely confident in her own powers to the point of having a superiority complex, she's determined to show she has what it takes to be a hero, she is loyal enough to get the job done, and she doesn't mind breaking the rules a few times if she deemed it necessary! Don't agree? Change my mind! 😁
So my personal and final say in the matter is that Tatsumaki would most likely be a Slytherin, though she also has a fair chance to be a Gryffindor. Rather ironic, considering the two Houses are fiercer rivals then Red and Blue. Tatsumaki only has a slight chance to be in Hufflepuff since she does a work oriented mind and she DOES have alittle empathy deep down. And she has even less of a chance to be a Ravenclaw considering her connections to the House aren't as strong as they are for the other Houses.
So there you have it; Slytherin for the win! Until next time, cheers! 🐉
