Gaara, Neji, Naruto, and I walked towards the school building together. It felt nice to have people walk next to me and treat me like an equal. Their words are still ringing in my ears. They actually intended to be my friends. I can't believe it!

I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't even acknowledge the two pairs of eyes that were glaring at me. I was forcefully pulled out of my pleasant thoughts by a foot being stuck out in front of me. I let out a  shriek and fell on my knees. Ow! God damn it that hurt! I angrily stood up and faced the person who tripped me.

It was none other than Ino. Karin stood next to her. Great, what an amazing day I was having so far. I glanced behind me to see Gaara leaning on the lockers and holding Naruto's wrist so he couldn't come help me. Naruto... Well he looked like he was going to literally blow up.

Neji just looked at me worriedly. It made me kind of happy to know at least two people actually cared about what happened to me. But I deal with this type of shit everyday. I'm used to the harsh words and violent treatment. I turned my attention to Ino, ready to actually take her on.

Usually I just ignored her until she finally got bored of me and went to pick on some other people. But today I want to fight back. There are people behind me who actually care. The first people who actually care enough to help. So, bring it on Ino-pig, bring it on.

Ino was smirking now, with her hands on her hips. Her very tiny crop top showed way too much skin. How could she be comfortable in such revealing clothes?
"Hey forehead girl, it's good to see you in your usual ugly, unflattering clothes."

Ha! She thinks insulting my clothes will work this time? No! My clothes are comfortable, and cover my scars. I'm quite happy with them.
"Thanks, it's nice to see you to. Too bad your wearing your usual revealing, slutty clothes," I say cheekily in return. She froze.

I had never insulted her before, so she seemed a bit less confident. Karin looked at her expectantly, pressuring  her to keep at it.
"Forehead, you know better than to push me. Remember the time when we pushed you into the lake at the swimming trip two years ago?" She said smugly, knowing that would strike a cord.

I shuddered, that was horrible. Ino, Karin, and a few other girls almost drowned me in the lake. They thought I was freaking out because I couldn't swim. But the real reason is because my father tried to drown me after my mom died. He thought that that would easily get rid of me. But.... I survived. Barely. It has scarred me ever since.
"Earth to Forehead! Geese! Pay attention to me when I speak to you!" She screeched. Her voice sounded like nails on a chalkboard. 

"Ino-pig, can't you just leave me alone class is about to start and I don't feel like dealing with you," I say annoyed.

"HMPH, FINE!" She yelled. She then stomped over to me angrily and whispered in my ear.
"Your not cool Sakura, remember you're the same nobody as yesterday. Watch your back Forehead." She hissed out at me. She then flipped her hair and sashayed away. She obviously thought nobody heard her, but I could tell Neji, Gaara, and Naruto heard her.

I sighed and made my way back to them.
"You okay Sakura-chan?! That bitch had no right to say those things!" He babbled as he ran up to me and gave me a bear hug. I felt like I was choking, but I still hugged him back. What! He's cute in a fun, hyperactive way.
"Naruto-san I'm fine, I deal with that everyday," I say solemnly.
"You poor princess. I'll be your night in shining armour!!" He said excitingly. He then picked me up bridal style and spun me around.
"Naruto-san! Put me down now! Neji-san, Gaara-san, help me!!" I screamed. Neji walked over to us and whacked Naruto over the head.

"OWW!! What was that for you teme?!" Naruto said.
"You were being an idiot, now let her go." Neji replied. Finally I was set down and free. YAY I'M FREE!
"Thanks Neji-san," I say politely.
"Drop the formalities Sakura," Gaara ordered. Gaara-kun.... Neji-kun.... Naru-kun. Yes that has a nice ring to it.

"Ok Panda-kun," I smiled brightly. I have never been this happy before. Thank you God, my prayers were finally answered. Gaara scowled a bit at the nickname, while Neji snickered. Naruto... Well he started whining again.
"Sakura-chan, call me Naru-kun!" He yelled determinedly.
"Ok, I guess. Naru-kun, Neji-kun, Panda-kun, let's go I have to show you to your class." I say enthusiastically.
Naruto grabbed my hand and started dragging me.
