Hypnotic
A/N: I did it! I finished this chapter instead of doing my homework, so I hope you like it. And guys, thanks so much! I have a thousand views! It means so much to me. I would like to dedicate this chapter to 11TailedBlackKitten and Jaimexl. You both really motivated me to write. You guys are so awesome! Thanks so much for reading this crappy story. Enjoy! (:
I watched Sasori exit the infirmary with carefully guarded eyes. I found about the Akatsuki from Ino, back when we were still friends. She told me about how they were involved in lots of trouble. It was a gang that even teachers and elders were no match for. They were rich, smart, and feared by almost everyone, not just in Konoha High, but also outside of school. And Sasori is one of them. Ino pretty much informed me of every misdeed the gang ever committed. In all honesty, for a while, I was slightly scared of them. But, then I realized that they would hurt me, considering the fact that I'm poor, weak, and a freak.
My eyes had widened when he said that whoever had done this to me will pay. I'm wounded and my uniform is ruined. I look like a beggar. The principal better give me a new uniform, or I swear to god I'm going to have a meltdown. Sasori seemed so angry about what had happened. I could feel anger pulsating off him in waves. That reaction just made me more worried. God knows what he could do, especially if he knew Karin and her little monkeys did it.
Another thing I can't seem to wrap my head around is the reason Sasori was acting like that; Does that mean he cares for me? If so, then why? Was it a good thing for me, or not?
I can feel both Gaara's and Dr. Kakashi's eyes on me. Gaara, with a confused and slightly annoyed look. Probably because he has no idea who the Akatsuki are yet, and the annoyed... well I'm thinking because he's still stuck here with me. I wouldn't want to be stuck in the same room as me either right now, It's like being in a room with rotting garbage.
Kakashi's was staring at me in concern, curiosity, and a tinge of jealousy. I'm not even going to try to dissect his emotions. Gaara looked away from me after a minute and stared at the exit. Kakashi's eyes, though, never left me. I started to feel slightly creeped out. He had a very serious expression plastered on his face now, causing me to blush, due to its intensity. It seemed like he was thinking about something so deep about me, that he didn't even notice that I was staring right back at him, my face blank.
That's it! I ripped my black, converse shoe off my foot, and chucked it at him. It hit him smack dab on his forehead, causing him to flinch, and break out of his train of thought.
"Ouch!" Kakashi exclaimed.
"Why did you throw your shoe at me!?" He cried.
"Stop staring," I say.
Gaara sweat dropped animatedly.
Later that day
I was walking with Gaara, heading outside the school building. I had literally gone through hell to get a new uniform and tried everything I knew. I screamed, I cried, I begged, I threatened, I bribed, I tried stealing... yeah I know stealing's bad and blah blah blah. I don't have enough money to buy a new one and the principal was being a jerk! It doesn't help that he doesn't like me. He still didn't give me one. I had to wear my P.E. uniform. Yeah... my life sucks.
Gaara and I didn't speak a word to each other, even though we're walking together. My mind started freaking out on what to say. I'm not very good at starting conversations and I have no idea on how to talk to him after what happened. I looked at him, and the moment he was carrying me bridal style popped into my mind, causing me to blush. I looked down, allowing my hair to cover my cheeks.
"Yo, Saku, you never thanked him."
"Right."
"H-hey Gaara-san", I call.
"Hn?"
I stop walking, and he stopped too.
"Thank you," I say with a small smile. I see his face flush, and he looks away in embarrassment. Wow, he blushed!
"It's the end of the world!!" Inner screams as she runs around in circles hysterically.
"Your welcome," Gaara replied.
And then we started to walk again, silently. While they were walking, Naruto saw them.
"Oi! Sakura-chan, Gaara!" He called while running. Neji was right behind him, but less loud and more mature. I smiled.
"Hi, Naruto. Hi, Neji. I had dropped all formalities since I considered myself close enough to them to be able to call them just by their names. And Neji also threatened to stab me with a fork, if I didn't stop calling him 'Neji-san'. Funny, never thought I'd ever see the Hyuga's quiet demeanor drop for even a second.
"Neh Sakura-chan? Where were you earlier? And why are you wearing your P.E uniform? Its not our P.E, right? "
"Err,..."
Will I tell him or not?
Before I could talk, Kiba came.
"Hi, Sakura-chan." Kiba greeted with a wide grin that seemed to hurt his cheeks.
"I was trying to find you a while ago and then I saw Naruto-" Kiba was cut when he saw Gaara beside Sakura. "Who is he?"
"He's Gaara. He's Neji, Sakura, and my other friend." Naruto answered while grinning from ear to ear.
"Gaara this is Kiba, Kiba this is Gaara."
I sweat dropped animatedly.
"Hi," Kiba says.
"Hn," Gaara answered.
"Hey, Sakura-chan are you going home?" The blond boy asks. I nod.
"Okay, we will walk you out," He says. I smile and then the five started to walk.
As they arrived at the parking lot they saw Sasuke. His expression was so serious, it made Naruto, Kiba and I wonder what's wrong.
To be continued....
