No one's POV

"What are you doing foolish little brother?!" Itachi asked coldly, pulling his brother off Sakura.

Sasuke glared at him and crossed his arms.

"Exactly what it looks like," Sasuke said, rolling his eyes. Sakura looked between the two brothers anxiously. She was still a bit dazed from the kiss. Her heart was racing and her palms were sweaty. Sasuke leaned in and kissed her, but all she did was freeze up like an idiot.

"So much for staying hidden," Kisame grumbled lowly from his spot at Pein's table. Gaara, Neji, Naruto, Sasori, and surprisingly, Itachi, were standing next to the Sakura's table. Pein sighed and shook his head annoyance. He couldn't believe they all fell in love with the same girl. But he was also slightly impressed. This girl made some of the richest and coldest boys at Konoha High school fall head over heels for her.

"You're going to pay for that..."Gaara growled lowly, but still loud enough for Sasuke to hear.

"Oh really?" Sasuke drawled, obviously not at all intimidated. Honestly, he was very irritated with his brother and all the idiots surrounding him. He knew that Naruto, Gaara, Sasori, and Neji were infatuated with Sakura, but he never thought he'd have to fight his older brother too. They were ruining his date with Sakura, and he couldn't let her slip through his fingers. At first, yes, he was cruel to her. He regretted it so much. But he finally realized what an amazing girl she was. Too bad he was too late. She already had a bunch of guys pawning after her.

"Gaara?" Sakura asked, blushing slightly. He gave her small smile, making her blush more. Sasuke's eye twitched.

"Bastard, that was too far, and you know it," Naruto said, in a very menacing tone. Sakura looked at him in alarm. She had never heard him so angry before. Then a thought dawned on her.

"Why are you guys here?" She asked innocently. They all looked her impassively, Naruto giving her a guilty look. She sighed.

"Tell me," She demanded.

Neji hesitated, but nodded, not wanting to anger her. He knew the least they could do after ruining her date was tell her the truth. But he hoped she didn't hate him afterward.

"We followed you here to spy on you, we were afraid Sasuke would do something..." Neji said owning up to it. Sakura's eyes widened, and she felt tears prick her eyes. Did they really care that much about her...?

She surprised all of them, especially Neji when she leaped into his arms and hugged him fiercely. She liked being reminded that there were people who cared about her.

"Thank you for caring about me! I've never had many friends or even a family, so it means a lot to me that you were worried about me," Sakura says, smiling up at Neji. Neji wraps his arms around her and hugs her tightly.

"You're welcome," He said softly, petting her hair. The other boys glared at him, and he shot them a smirk.

"Well, I think I've had enough for this evening," Sakura said, removing herself from Neji's arms.

"I'll drive you home," Sasuke said, getting up.

"No, I'll just call Temari and ask her to pick Gaara and me up," Sakura replied, grabbing Gaara's arm and dragging him out.

"Damn....I have to drive you two home don't I?" Itachi said, talking to Naruto and Neji.

"Tch, what do you take me for?" Neji said, walking out.

"Wait up Neji!!!" Naruto yelled chasing after him.

~Sakura's POV~

"Gaara?"

"What?" He replied. We were in the backseat of Temari's car, with Tenten up front next to her.

"Were you really worried about me?" I ask, hoping the answer is yes.

He gives me a genuine smile and nods.

"Of course I was. Sasuke was an ass to you before. I couldn't let anything happen to you, you're too important to me," He said.

I-I'm important to him?? Really?

"I'm important to you?" I ask, shocked.

"Of course, you're unlike any other girl I've ever met. You've been through hell, but still, find the strength to keep going," Gaara whispered softly in my ear, before wrapping a protective arm around me, giving me a sense of safety. I could stay in his arms forever. My eyes slowly drifted shut, and I fell asleep curled up in Gaara's arms.
