VI

Rafael forgot all about Marc-André Ter Stegen during the rest of the day.

He had two appointments, and when he was focused on the tattoos, he could not think about anything else that his current task. He was chatting with the clients about random things, and that is only when the last client left that he remembered.

He went home very fast because he wanted to take a shower before going to the place where they had to meet--Marc-André had sent him the address and they had agreed to meet at seven.

Rafael arrived there just on time, and he frowned when his GPS told him that he was at the address he had asked it to take him. It was very close to the beach, and he didn’t expect it to be here.

He saw Marc-André as soon as he got up from his car; he was in front of him, talking to an old lady with a big smile.

How is it possible to look happy like that all the time?

He crossed the street and they shake hands again before Marc-André offered to take them to that place that he loved.

They walked quietly for a few minutes, and Rafael smiled when he saw that it was a modest place in which they were serving savoury crepes.

“It may sounds weird when you think about it, but it is the best thing I’ve eaten in my entire life.”

Rafael smiled. He did not know this place, thus, he had never tried their food. But Marc-André’s happiness to talk about it convinced Rafael immediately. They got their crepes, and they decided to sit by the sea to eat them. They sat directly on the sand, both facing the water, listening to the sound of the waves.

“So?” Marc-André asked after a few minutes, and Rafael nodded.

“It’s very good.”

“I’m glad you like it!”

“So...did you think about the tattoo project?” Rafael wondered, and Marc-André nodded.
