I am thinking of redrawing this old image and making it brand new with my improving art style

See how terrible some of it was? I really liked how I blended the colors on this image though, and the thicker neck and limbs just add to the pasass
But here is the new sketched image

You can definitely see the improvement. But what I like about this one is going a bit beyond the basic with say the tail. The original had the tail as it is the the first image, but this one I decided to curve it and make it longer to size it up with the bulk of the body. I also like how much the scaling has improved, the head is no longer 75% of the whole friggin body, but is now more chest sized or even smaller than that!
Although I liked the original, I think this new version has a lot of potential and a hell lot of growth with it.
