Solji's P.O.V

"Solji unnie, please stop crying" I heard Jiso say in a hurt voice. I tried to stop but I was letting out small sniffling sounds. I then remembered that I was hurt in the process of running away, bringing my hand to my shoulder I saw that fresh blood was still there. I rummaged through my bag, that I managed to bring along, for a cloth to wet in the river.

I saw that Jiso had gotten off Sunja and was putting the fire out. I dismounted Tae and helped her out. "Solji come here, let me check out your wound" she said grabbing a few supplies from her bags. As she lead us to a rock big enough for me to sit on by the stream, she wet the cloth I had and started to pull on my sleeve. "I'm going to pull the arrow out" she said. I sat there with a blank stare, still trying to process what just happened. I felt a burning sensation but still didn't make a sound.

Jiso was pulling the arrow out. Blood was slowly dripping down my arm. My arm was throbbing with pain but I still didn't make a sound. The thick substance of my blood was getting all over my sleeve and Jiso's clothing. I heard her huff when the arrow stopped mid way. She hesitated to pull on it but eventually she started to move the arrow around. I bit my lip to keep quite, it finally started moving again but I quickly pushed myself back so the arrow could be removed faster. I saw that the arrow was successfully pulled out without it breaking.

Blood rushed out of the wound, drenching my arm sleeve with crimson red liquid. My arm felt like it had tiny needles pricking at the wound constantly while it throbbed with pain, the skin around the injury was a angry bitter red. Jiso's hands were covered by my blood, a thick liquid. A deep wine color bathed on my dress. Thats when I realized that I had lost a lot of blood. I started to feel a bit light headed but I shook it off. I looked through my bag to look for a leaf to chew on so I could bare the pain while Jiso cleaned the wound out. I popped the leaf in my mouth and began to chew on it slowly.

I felt a sting on my injury and I winced but didn't move. "Sorry" I heard her gently whisper. "Why does my mother hate me so much? What have I done to cause her to have such hatred towards me" I asked and looked at her. She looked at me in sympathy and started to apply healing ointment on my wound. Just in that moment everything rushed at me at once. I could have been killed this night. All because my mother ordered it. I could have lost my life and even worse Jiso could have as well. As soon as that wave hit me, I released my tears of distress. I weep like I did when my father died. I cried on Jiso while she just hugged me and patted my hair. I eventually ran out of air and my eyes were dry.

Slowly getting up, wiping the tears harshly in the process, I looked up at the sky and began to say a vow to the sky's, where my father could here me. "I, as the rightful queen of Saeruy, promise to devote​ myself to regain my lost land, not only for my people but for my father as well. Father even though you're not among us anymore, I shall fight till I can't feel my bones and my muscles ache. I'll fight to my death if it means saving my people. I shall become the queen that the people want and not my mother." Jiso looked at me and sighed. "Your father is really proud of you, trust me you will get your land back" she said patting my shoulder. "But before we even leave lets change clothes" she said laughing.

Taking a deep breath and picking up my dress skirt, I made my way to Tae. I took out my outfit that I usually go to train in or when I tried to blend into the crowed with. Jiso had a similar one just different colors. Mine was black red, while hers was royal blue and gold. I went behind a tree and removed the ruined dress, being carful not to hurt my shoulder more, I slipped the outfit on. "Hey do you need help" I heard Jiso ask. Walking from behind the tree I smiled and shook my head. "No I'm good, got it on with out a problem" I said. "You better be careful with that injury of yours, I don't want you to hurt it even more" she said sternly. "I won't mom" I said laughing. We mounted on our horses and continued our journey to the great kingdom of Silla.
