XIII | Advice and Cup Noodles

{ Your P.O.V }

It's been only a few days since I spoke with Quartet Night and everything has more or less returned to normal.

Camus has reverted to his original pompous self with the added sweet comment thrown in here and there. Reiji is as loud and clingy as ever. Ranmaru, surprisingly, has been nicer if not a little flirtier as well. And AI has been his normal self, still quiet and only saying things when he feels it necessary, but he has been trying to get physically closer to me lately which is a change...

Okay, things are as normal as they can get with four idols trying to win me over.

Today, since Quartet Night is busy with schedules, I have the perfect opportunity to talk with ST☆RISH about what's been going on, or at the very least talk with Otoya about this whole two-months-to-win-me-over game the Quartet is now playing. I still can't believe those guys just thought of a plan and went along with it so easily. I never would have thought they'd agree to something like this so quickly considering they fight...

A lot...

Wandering around the Master Course, I couldn't find a single one of those dweebs anywhere. It's as if they all just suddenly dropped off the face of the earth! Where could they have gone? I swear if it's another tour I'm going to lose it-

"___-chan? Are you looking for someone?"

I turned around at Haruka's voice. "Ah! It's my favorite composer! How've you been babe?"

Haruka giggled at my usual nickname for her. "I've been good love. What are you up to right now?"

"Ah, I was looking for Oto-kun. I need some advice and was going to annoy him for something good." I said with a small laugh.

"The boys have all gone out for individual schedules but I can give you some advice if you'd like?" The sweet composer offered, a shy smile dancing across her lips.

"Aren't you busy?"

"I got about ten minutes to spare if that's enough time?"

I smiled. "Alright, lets walk around a bit and I'll give you the rundown of what's been going on since I broke up with Ren."

"You two broke up?" Haruka asked, now following me as we start walking aimlessly around the Master Course.

Rubbing the back of my neck, I flashed her an apologetic smile. "Actually, we were never dating to begin with. It was all fake so I could buy myself some time."

"Time?" Haruka repeated.

"Time." I confirmed with an added nod of my head. "You see, I began falling in love with each of the Quartet Night members, as any normal fangirl would, and decided to fake date Ren out of pure panic to which he gladly went along with."

Haruka slowly seemed to understand. "Alright, so you two never liked each other and you actually like Quartet Night?" She asked, clarifying that she hasn't misunderstood something."

"Yup." I answered, popping the 'p'.

"And it's clear they all like you back." She giggled. "So what are you going to do about that love?"

"That's what I need some advice on." I said, shyly looking away from the pretty girl walking beside me. "The Quartet decided that they have two months to win me over and at the end of those two months, I have to choose just one of them to love."

Haruka hummed. "I see, that's quite the time limit you have on your hands." She said thoughtfully.

"I know! How am I supposed to choose only one of them?" I groaned.

"Well, which one do you like most as of right this second."

"Not sure, I really like all of them."

"That's a problem..." She murmured, looking to me with a sparkle behind her eyes. "How about going on dates with them and stuff? Maybe then it'll be easier to see who you really connect with?"

I nodded some. "Sounds like a plan, but I might have maybe kissed two of them already..."

"Eh?!" She squealed. "You're kidding!"

"Heh, no." I giggled. "AI kissed me a week or so ago and Camus kissed me back when he was sick forever ago. It just kind of happened and ugh, Haruka! I'm going to die because of those handsome men!"

"Because of us?" A somewhat deep voice spoke up from behind the composer and I.

I instantly froze as Haruka giggled. "Kursosaki-senpai! I thought you had schedules today?" Haruka asked as she turned around.

"I finished up my schedules early." Ranmaru chuckled. "I actually came to see if princess here was free."

Slowly, I turned around and shyly smiled at the silverette. "Heh, about that-"

"She's free." Haruka cut me off, nudging on my back and making me stumble forwards towards the idol. "I actually have to get going myself so take good care of her Kurosaki-senpai! Bye ___-chan!"

And with that, she scurried off down the hallway, leaving me alone with Ranmaru. Honestly, with all my heart I love Haruka, but she's about to kill me right now. How could she abandon me that easily?!

Such a great friend she is...

"So princess, want to go out for a bit?" Ranmaru asked as he peered down a little so that our eyes were leveled with one another's.

Feeling my smile widen against my will, I couldn't help but laugh as I walked on passed him. "If you're taking me out to eat then we better go. It's almost dinner time."

Ranmaru chuckled, moving to walk beside me as we made our way down the hallway. "You read my mind princess. I know this good street vendor, lets go there."

I looked to him and nodded. "Let's go!" I giggled, grabbing his hand and pulling him down the hallway even faster. Ranmaru happily continued to hold my hand even once we made it outside the Master Course and were now walking down the long path back to the main city streets of Tokyo.

Ranmaru stayed surprisingly quiet as he led me down a few more streets before we came across a couple of different street vendors outside of the nearby outside concert hall. "Go find a seat on the steps, I'll buy us some food and meet you down there." The silverette whispered into my ear, gently letting go of my hand and nudging me to go to where he said to.

"A-Alright." I stuttered out, blushing and hurriedly walking down the steps after realizing just how close our faces were to one another's. Gosh, Ranmaru doesn't beat around the bush now does he? Then again, neither does Camus or AI or Reiji for that matter. They're all pretty blunt and don't like to dance around things...

What have I gotten myself into?

A few minutes passed before Ranmaru plopped down beside me with two cup noodles in hand. I looked to him and couldn't help but laugh. "Cup noodles? We have these stocked in the Master Course when Natsuki nearly burns the place down with his cooking!"

Ranmaru scoffed. "These cup noodles are better than that stuff. Trust me, the things they add in this make the cup noodles taste like they're from some five star noodle joint." He said, handing me my cup noodle and a pair of wooden chopsticks.

Smiling, I went ahead and started eating. "Wow!" I said, quickly finishing what was in my mouth. "It tastes amazing! I'll need to come down here way more often if I can get this stuff whenever I want."

"Oi, you can't come here unless I'm with you." Ranmaru said, quickly stuffing his mouth with his own noodles.

"Wha- That's not fair!" I pouted. "You can't expect me to just pretend I never had these."

"That's why I said you can have them when I bring you here. This will just be our little secret princess." Ranmaru said with a smirk. "Now shush and eat before those noodles get cold."

With a nod, I quickly did as he said. It was almost like a race for the two of us to see who could finish our cup noodles first. I started laughing right as I finished when I glanced over only to see Ranmaru tilting his head back and drinking up all the broth. He really doesn't let anything go to waste does he? Such a food lover.

"You know ___." Ranmaru suddenly said after the two of us had finished eating. I glanced to him once more only to see him staring up at the stars that shine brightly up above us in the night sky. "I seriously like you. Don't ever pull that crap again with fake dating someone. Give it to me straight next time yeah? I seriously almost punched Ren." He said now looking at me with a small smirk. "Even if you don't pick me at the end of these two months, I want to know you were honest with me during this time I have with you."

My heart stuttered in it's beats. "I-I'm sorry for lying before." I said without really thinking.

Ranmaru's smirk widened just ever so slightly. "If you're sorry, then kiss me."

"Eh?!" I said, my eyes widening. "I k-know I kissed those two but you can't be-"

My words were cut off as Ranmaru wrapped an arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer, our lips now mere centimeters apart. "Don't talk about anyone else- don't think about anyone else but me while we're together." He murmured. "For this moment, you're mine and mine alone princess."

The second Ranmaru's lips touched mine, my mind went blank and all I could do was stay frozen and as still as a statue. It was as if my brain was malfunctioning. And then my eyes were fluttering shut, my hands unconsciously reaching up to fist in his shirt just over his chest as he deepened the kiss.

This is... Different from the last times I've been kissed.

Ranmaru is surprisingly gentle, not rushing things as he holds me as if I'm made of glass. Camus was more forceful and AI was just going for the surprise factor. This is, also surprising to say the least. Not what I would have expected from Ranmaru in the least bit.

Panting, the silverette pulled back and rested our foreheads against one another, my eyes still closed as I try to regain my breath. He chuckled a bit as he pecked my lips once more before pulling back completely and hugging me closer to his side. "I won't let you go without a fight ___."

Giggling some to myself, I leaned into his side and watched as a shooting star zoomed through the night sky up above. "You'll fight huh?" I shook my head fondly. "Please don't do anything rash during this war."

"I won't promise anything, but I'll try to be somewhat civil just for you princess."

"That's better than nothing."

Leaning down once more, Ranmaru placed a soft kiss to the side of my head before standing up. "Let's get you home. It's late and I think that red head of yours will kill me if I keep you out all night long." The silverette said as he then grabbed my hand and pulled me up and flush against his chest. "But if he wasn't an issue, I'd keep you all too myself until the sun rises." He whispered huskily, an arm wrapped lowly around my back while he continues to hold my hand with his.

With a shaky breath, I looked up and offered him a small smile. "Maybe we'll do just that one day."

Ranmaru's arm around my back tightened some. "Two months."

"Two months." I repeated at nothing above a whisper.

Just two months...

Thirteenth chapter done~ Ahhhhh Ranmaru isn't one of my faves from QN (Camus and Reiji forever have my heart), but I really like how this chapter came out.~

I'm really trying to keep up with this fanfic and finish it over these next two weeks as my apology for keeping you all waiting for so long. I'm currently rewatching all of UtaPri's fourth seasons and will probably rewatch all four seasons soon lol I miss these boys ㅠㅠ

Question of the Chapter ~ If I made another Quartet Night x Reader fanfic where you're their composer, would you read it? I may or may not be writing one in the background as I write this fanfic and I lowkey wanna publish it...

In all honesty, I'm kind of thinking of maybe (probably) writing "x reader" fanfics for both HEVENS and STRISH as well as the second one for Quartet Night. Would you guys be interested in reading for their groups as well? I might even do one where all three bands plus Ryuuya and Ringo all go after your character just like in the anime and games xD tell me what you think lovelyz~ I love you all ^^

Till next time everyone
Bye Byes~
~Kat

P.s. if there are typos anywhere just comment and I'll fix it tomorrow. My brain is too tired to catch everything right now lol ily!
