"___!"

That's the only scream I heard before I was whisked up by a certain red head and twirled around like some giant doll. All the other idols around us laughed as Otoya swung us around the main common area of the Master Course as if I was his girlfriend who he hadn't seen in months.

"I missed you too!" I laughed while I hugged him back. "And I missed all of you dweebs as well.~" I then cooed to the rest of the band as I walked up and gave each of them a much missed hug.

Ren kept an arm around my shoulders as the eight of us began randomly talking. Him and Otoya are by far the most protective over myself so I didn't really mind him keeping his arm around my shoulders while we talked. Though it gets a little annoying after a while when he begins leaning all of his weight onto me simply because he can and he knows I'm too lazy to fight back...

Tokiya cleared his throat while walking over to gently ruffle my hair some. "Have you been enjoying your time with Quartet Night?" He asked with a small smile.

I nodded my head. "It's been fun, interesting to say the least." I laughed as everyone began yelling questions to me which I only managed to catch a few of here and there.

"They haven't treated you badly right?".

"Have they baked anything for you?"

"You're happy staying with Rei-chan?"

"You've been living comfortably right?

"Camyu hasn't been too mean has he?"

"Ran probably got a little annoying didn't he My Lady?"

"I'll kill them if they hurt you!" Syo yelled above everyone else and then got into his signature fighting stance.

"Who are you claiming to hurt?" An all too familiar calm voice spoke up from behind us.

The group immediately went quiet as we all glanced towards the main entrance of the large room. AI looked at Syo with a blank stare as the other Quartet Night members stood behind him.

Camus scoffed as his eyes landed on me. "So this is where you ran off to earlier."

I quickly looked away from him as I glanced to the ST☆RISH members. I haven't been able to look Camus in the eye since he kissed me a couple of days ago. Probably weird considering he doesn't seem to be affected by what happened at all and that's if he even remembers it and here I am not able to keep my cool. Reiji began talking with some of the boys around me as the Quartet approached us. I continued to stay quiet as I instinctively pressed slightly closer to Ren when I felt Camus's eyes train and solely lock on to myself.

It's uncomfortable being caught under his gaze. Almost like he's trying to talk to me with just his cold stare alone.

Ren suddenly tightened the arm he has around my shoulders before smiling to everyone. "My Lady and I are going to head out for a bit. We'll be back soon.~"

Before anyone could even ask where we were headed off to, Ren went ahead and led us off down towards the back courtyards and then some towards the forest. He didn't answer when I asked why he was bringing us out here and instead just gave me a reassuring smile.

A few minutes passed before we stopped by the small lake that's a little ways away from the Master Course. Ren went ahead and plopped down and I followed suit, watching the small waves ripple across the sun light reflecting water as we sat next to one another.

"So." He started. "What's up with you and the Earl, My Lady?"

"Ah about that." I laughed awkwardly. "Something happened a few days ago and I'd rather not talk about it."

"Aw, he kissed you didn't he?" Ren asked sweetly as he patted my back lightly.

I blushed while looking away. "Shut it." I hissed. "He kissed me when he was sick and had that fever. It meant nothing okay?"

"Are you sure it meant nothing?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean." Ren sighed while looking out to the water. "Did he think that your shared kiss meant nothing? Just because he was sick doesn't mean he wasn't thinking rationally ___-chan."

I opened my mouth to speak before closing it again.

Did Camus think nothing or did he think something of that kiss..?

Why is that such a deciding question?! I don't want him to like me! He's an idol and I'm just some random fan who's friends with his kouhai's. I know Reiji said we're all friends and wait- Reiji said that they were all beginning to like me that day they found out I was a fangirl for them. Is this what he meant by them liking me..?

No. He couldn't have meant that they're all falling in love with me. That's too good to be true for a fangirl like myself.

I'm losing my mind. Those boys are beginning to toy with me and it's driving me further and further towards insanity. First AI always looking to and staring at me, Reiji getting closer than he should ever get, Ranmaru always smirking when he knows that I can't take it, and Camus suddenly kissing me that day and now staring at me all the time. What is their plan? Is it to make me fall in love with all of them because right now that's exactly what they're doing.

...

But I don't love them- I DON'T LOVE THEM! I can't love them! This isn't some reverse harem anime and I am not the heroine. They're not mine to fall for! This is horrible. What happens if I actually fall for them?! Maybe I'll go live under a rock like Patrick, yeah, that sounds nice. I could meet SpongeBob and Sandy and Mr. Krabbs and- JESUS GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF ME!

"You alright there little kitten?" Ren asked slightly concerned as he peered down to my face.

"Help." Was all I murmured.

His laugh put me slightly at ease as he rubbed his hand in small circles on my back. "Help you with what exactly?"

I thought for a moment before sighing. This is the worst plan I've ever come up with, it has to be! Why am I even suggesting this?

"Ren..." I started before looking directly into his blue eyes. "Pretend to be my boyfriend so they won't keep trying to get with me!"

"You sure kitten?" He asked in a suddenly much huskier voice that he normally uses exclusively to seduce his fans with. "Because I might fall for you in exchange for them."

Now it was my turn to laugh as Ren just grinned happily. "You and Masato are literally five steps away from dating so don't even start with saying you'll fall for me idiot." I teased while leaning my head against his shoulder. "But I need someone to help keep my sanity and I don't think anyone would believe me if Otoya and I started fake dating."

"So I'm your second favorite of the group?" He asked with a smug smile while leaning his head down to rest on top of mine.

I giggled. "I guess, but you're still a dweeb so don't over step your boundaries Jinguji."

"I love when you call me Jinguji.~"

"And I love when you shut up."

Ren laughed at that as I felt him suddenly kiss the top of my head. I glanced to him with a questioning look before he bent down some to whisper to me. "I heard rustling behind us back in the woods, I'm pretty sure it's Ranmaru spying like he always does." He chuckled before inching slightly closer so that our lips were mere centimeters from touching. "I won't kiss you." His words were nothing above a whisper as he stared directly into my eyes without breaking eye contact. "But I'm not apposed to the idea either.~"

"Stop teasing." I giggled. "Only fake kisses like this unless I initiate it alright?"

Ren just smiled as we pulled back from each other. The rustling suddenly grew louder as a familiar head of silver hair appeared from the woods. I'm actually rather impressed that Ren called him out when I hadn't even noticed his presence at all. Ranmaru looked pissed and when I say pissed I mean he looked like he was about to murder someone worse than when Camus gets angry and has that frost aura radiating all around him.

Those mix-matched eyes of his sent small shivers down my spine as they focused on me and then glared harshly at Ren. "Jinguji." He hissed. "Hijirikawa said he needs to speak with you."

"Wonder what Masa wants.~" Ren cooed amusedly as he pulled us both up and began walking towards the Master Course, his fingers intertwined with my own. He smiled down to me as we were about to pass by Ranmaru. But before we managed to fully pass his senior, Ranmaru suddenly reached out and grabbed my free arm, pulling me back towards his chest slightly.

Ren's eyes trailed from our still entwined fingers over to where Ranmaru is lightly gripping my arm. "Well this is interesting." He chuckled. "Mind letting my girlfriend go Ran?"

Ranmaru's eyes widened slightly and Ren tugged me along once the rocker's hand had dropped limply from my arm. His facial expression never changed as I walked beside Ren back inside the Master Course. Nothing but a mixture of shock and anger...

The second we entered, all nine boys immediately trained their eyes on us and needless to say the Quartet Night members were harshly glaring at Ren while the ST☆RISH boys just gave us confused looks. I gave them all reassuring smiles as Ren cleared his throat.

"___ and I are officially dating!" He announced and I swear everyone's jaws just dropped. "She'll also be staying with me for a while so don't expect her back at your apartment any time soon." He then said with a laugh as he glanced over to the Quartet Night members, still smiling but his tone more serious than usual.

Ren's strong and very confident voice made Reiji, AI, and Camus all narrow their eyes slightly before looking to me with these unreadable expressions. They looked almost scary with the way they just stared so blankly at me. Something is going through their heads and I can't tell what in the world it could possibly be.

This might have been a very, very, bad idea...

          Ninth chapter done~ I don't think I've ever loved and hated Ren so much at once lmao.

          I don't know where I went with this update tbh like is the Quartet going to be all pissy now or are they just going to ignore you??? Gosh this just turned interesting xD

          Question of the Chapter ~ Any thoughts on having Ren becoming your "boyfriend"?
