Arc 11.4
A month had passed, and in that month, the main leads bonded with joy and finding someone exactly like the other. Standing outside their circle made it show that the two held equal traumas. It was like a fairytale read in real life. They spent their days' training against one another, discovering their weaknesses and defending the other who shows during battle. They were meant for each other, more or less seeing as the world made them for each other. As the month stretched to three, the help from the Soka Clan was unable even to dent the hoard of Chaos that invaded the Nora Clan—making the land barren and desolated from everything else. It was a day to mourn when the Nora Clan discovered their home in ruin.
Because of the ruins, they will force themselves to settle in another land, but choosing land isn't simple, significantly when their trade is growing medicine and helping others.
"Kalmia!" A voice full of delight shouted across the Soka Clan's busy as ever streets.
The young woman turned around; her hood folded as she turned her head. Seeing the young man she had slowly fallen in love with, she gave a small smile in return as she waited for the love-struck fool.
"Kalmia!" He shouted once more as he finally reached Kalmia. The pure joy that radiated off his face was the most joy he had ever expressed, not even in his innocent day did he shine so bright as today.
"What's with all the shouting Varn? I'm right here." Kalmia giggled at the love-struck fool, not knowing she was one as well.
"Sorry, I was just wondering if the Nora clan will be participating in the juniors clan competition, seeing as your clan hasn't yet able to relocate because of the growing Chaos appearing everywhere."
"If this keeps on, I don't think there will be a Juniors Clan Competition."Kalmia sighed as she looked back at the small huts that their people had made around the barn that stood appointed to them. They were currently tending to some plot of soil that was portable.
"Currently, I've been overhearing the conversations between Lady Dashi and my father. They're saying that we might have to pull in another clan to cut down on the numbers of Chaos around our territory.
"Indeed." Kalmia sighed in sadness. "Without the help of another clan, there might be grave consequences arising soon."
"I don't even want to think about it, but the other two clans are going to arrive tomorrow to discuss more in detail."
"The clan heads are gathering together in one spot?" Kalmia's eyes widened in surprise.
The only time that happened was when they had to move underwater. It must be severe outside for all chiefs to come.
"No, only their consultants. Currently, the Chiefs are preparing for the upcoming Junior festival." Varn shook his head to clear up the misunderstanding.
"Chaos!!!" A warning came from the border of the Soka Clan. The two fated turned their heads towards the shout and saw a Soka Clan member shout in anger and alarm as his head was grabbed by the large inky black hand and lifted into the air. His soul was sucked out of his body and left to crumble into dust in an instant.
Shouts of fear emerged from the Soka Clan; the Nora Clan retreated towards safety as both men and women geared themselves to fight the Chaos. Battle cries arise from the Soka Clan as the brutes run, cutting down Chaos like butter.
Everyone thought it would be an easy win for them, but soon enough, they were mistaken, as the number of Chaos began to multiply and grow, overwhelming the brutes.
Bombs were now in use, created by the Nora Clan, seeing as they were so weak they needed something to make up for it. But to no avail, everyone was in distress, not knowing what to do as they saw their loved ones killed on by one.
"Kalmia, hurry!" Van shouted as they motioned for the female lead to follow him towards safety.
"Hurry Varn, follow the women and children!" Kan, the Soka Clan head, pointed towards the fleeing women and children.
The two nodded as they fled on foot to their escape route. The weak members of the Soka and the Nora Clan walked on for hours only to meet the convoy of both Wever and Eria Clan. Explaining what had happened, the convoys realized this was something even more severe than they thought, so thinking on their feet, they retreated to their respected Clan to inform their Chiefs of their findings.
Back at the Soka Clan, their chief battled fiercely against the Chaos, but their numbers started to take a toll on his old body.
His eyes spotted a figure in the far distance; beautiful strands of white hair danced in the wind. A beauty stood like no other at the source of the Chaos; the gold crown was clear to see when it shined on occasion to manifest more Chaos. His breath caught in his throat; he was shocked by the divine-looking being and finding out where these cursed beings were coming from, knowing such information could give the Clans a substantial upper hand in the war against Chaos. But before he knew it, he looked down to his stomach, feeling an unimaginable amount of pain. At first, he thought the Chaos had gotten him for his foolish rookie move in getting distracted, but he saw a sword, a beautiful silver sword, then a voice.
"How dare you make it seem as if I am weak and inferior to you animal Soka Clan, dying by my hands feels so much better than seeing you die by the Chaos, don't worry, I'll make sure to tell your Clan, you begged for my help and cries like a weakling." A soothing voice sounded from behind him, and as he tried to turn, he saw the Nora Clan Cheif, Lady Dashi.
"I-I Never." He tried to reason but knew it was over for him; looking ahead, he saw the many Chaos heading their way in hunger.
"Now, now, don't make such a fuss. You had it coming." With that, Lady Dashi pulled out her sword and cleaned it on the shoulder of Kan. A menacing smile grew on Lady Dashi's lips as she joined the non-witnessing Brutes relocating towards safety.
