24: Jade
“She’s going to love it!” I heard Cooper’s mother’s voice coming from down the hall where Cooper’s room was and cringed.
I loved her mother, but I don’t know if I could last another minute without punching her in her annoying mouth. But of course I would try for Coop’s sake. I slid out of bed and made my way down the hall to the bathroom when I heard a male’s voice coming from Coop’s room.
“I just hope that she’s not angry with me,” I heard, but didn’t quite recognize the voice.
“She won’t be! She knows about most of the situation,” I heard Coop’s mum insuring the person.
“I’m totally on board with this! It’s not just my special day,” I heard Coop’s voice as well, “Now, I’m going to go wake Jade, if not, she’s going to sleep all day,” I then heard her footsteps coming towards the door, so I high-tailed it into the bathroom and flushed the toilet real fast.
I then walked out with Coop standing right there. Coop smirked at me.
“You’re up then?” she asked me as she just kept smiling.
“I’m up,” I said as I started to walk down the hall and into the kitchen, where there were doughnuts and orange juice set out on the table. Coop’s mum had been busy already this morning.
“Mum’s been working so hard on my big day,” Coop smirked as she grabbed a glazed doughnut.
We then heard footsteps coming down the stairs in a hurry, “We have five minutes to be at the church!” Coop’s mum yelled as she entered the room, “That little bump in the road cost us a half an hour! I hope that this wedding doesn’t run late,” she said as she grabbed a chocolate doughnut.
Coop smirked at her mother, “If it does start late, it would be like a normal wedding.”
“This is not going to be a normal wedding,” her mother jumped up and with a wave of her wand all of the food was gone, “Go get your dresses girls! And hurry it up!”
Coop and I giggled together as we ran up the stairs, trying not to fall all over ourselves.

At the church, everything was in an uproar. I had my light blue bride’s maid dress on and my hair all finished when Cooper came running into the room, almost in tears. We had only been there for an hour and everything seemed to be going wrong.
“Jade!” Coop said as she was trying to catch her breath. She was in her wedding gown with her hair all done. She looked like an angel.
“What is it, Coop? Are you having second thoughts?” I asked as I put my hands on her shoulders to keep from pacing and tripping all over her dress.
“No,” she looked at me like I was stupid, “Blaise is here, and Draco is nowhere to be found!”
“What?” I said as I let go of her.
“Mum and Narcissa spotted him outside the church. They said he was drunk, so he’ snot cooperating very well,” she said as I turned and headed for the door, “Jay!”
I thought I had told Blaise to stay away from Cooper and this wedding. I rushed down the hall and pushed open the doors while I pulled my wand from the waistband of my dress. Sure enough, Blaise was out there, yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs.
“I need you, Cooper,” was fumbling from him lips.
I held out my wand to him, “You don’t need her. You just feel guilty about being such as asshole to her all these years.”
“I’m not lying, bitch!” he said as he gave me the middle finger.
I got closer to him and pressed my wand to his throat, “I thought I told you to stay away?”
“You did, but my love for Cooper is stronger!” he slurred.
“You dickhead,” I said and then my eyes widened as a fist slammed into Blaise’s cheek.
I took a few steps back to get over my shock and saw Draco standing there. He was smirking while supporting a bloody knuckle. I stepped over Blaise’s body to examine his finger.
“You shouldn’t have punched him in the mouth,” I told him as I did the simple spell to heal the small cut.
He smirked at me some more, “I know it, but I heard you two talking. Plus I wanted to get back at him for trying to steal my girl.”
I smiled up at him after I put my wand away, “Where have you been anyway?” I asked him as we started walking up to the church.
“I had to do some last minute things before I came,” he shrugged.
“Like what?” I raised an eyebrow up at him.
He pulled out a folded up piece of paper, “My vows. I wanted them to be perfect.”
“And are they?”
“No, they’re pathetic,” he said as he threw the paper into the nearest trash can when they got inside.
“You know,” I said when we were about to go our separate ways, “You could just say what you feel when you look into those big, beautiful eyes of Coop’s,” I suggested.
“You’re right,” he smiled, “Thanks, Jay.”
“No problem,” I said as I heard chaos coming from the Bridal chambers.
When I went down there, Coop and her mum were both in hysterics. I smiled as I walked into the room, and Coop ran straight into my arms.
“What happened? Did he leave?” she asked right away.
“He’s gone, thanks to Draco,” I smirked as she pulled away and looked at me with a huge grin on her face.
“Everything is back on track,” Coop’s mum announced, “Now, let’s get this show on the road!”

I walked up the aisle with Marcus Flint on my arm. How lucky we were to be maid of honor and best man. I fake smiled at everyone as I let go of Marcus’ arm and turned around and faced the audience. Hermione walked down with Ron on her elbow. Ginny with Harry, Luna with Neville, and walking down the aisle all by himself was…My heart skipped a beat as my eyes settle on him. George Weasley was walking down the aisle and stood on the grooms side.
