[[One Year Later]]

“This dress is perfect on you!” my mother cheered as I walked out for the sixteenth time, modeling wedding dresses for her.

“It’s about time,” I was getting irritated, “We’ve been doing this for three hours. My feet hurt so much!”

“Well, you shouldn’t have waited until a week before the wedding to get all the wedding party dresses,” my mother snapped back, “I don’t see why you were waiting for Jade anyway. She’s not coming back you know.”

“She is, too. If I know Jade, she keeps her promises,” I then realized I was still in the dress, “I’m going to change.”

“Hurry up, dumpling. We have to meet the bridesmaids for lunch,” she called from outside the dressing room.

“I don’t want to go. Can I just go home and take a long nap?” I said as I pulled my jeans up and buttoned them.

“No. You promised these girls lunch with them before you worked for the rest of the week!” my mother definitely disapproved.

“That’s why I want to take the nap,” I said as I walked out with my dress in my hands.

“I know that, Coop,” she said and an hour later we found ourselves at the café where we were to meet Hermione, Ginny, and Luna.

“You look wonderful!” I told Ginny because she was very hugely pregnant with her second child.

“Thanks, Coop,” she said and just sat down.

“I have wonderful news!” Hermione said as she sat down as well, “I just found out that I’m pregnant as well!”

“That is wonderful!” my mother congratulated her.

I just simply smiled, not wanting to ruin anyone’s fun because I just wanted to leave and go cuddle up in my fiancé’s arms in my nice warm bed. He was all that was on my mind. Draco was really the perfect guy for me. I still have trouble wondering why I never seen it earlier. We could’ve had more time.

“Cooper?” Luna said, as I snapped back to reality, “I was just saying that Neville asked me to marry him.”

“That’s great!” I said excitedly.

I threw myself on the couch as soon I stepped in the door from my long lunch. I love those girls, but when they all got together, it was tiresome. I then sat up quickly as I heard something moving in the kitchen. I peeked around the corner, which I could see into the kitchen, and saw Draco making dinner. I smiled to myself and laid back down. Within a matter of moments, there was Draco lying on top of me and nuzzling my neck.

“Long day?” he asked as he looked into my tired eyes.

“You have no idea,” I smirked up at him.

“Well, dinner is almost finished, then I will give you a full body message,” he winked at her when he said this, “and take all your troubles away.”

“That sounds so nice right now, Drake.”

“Now,” he got off of me and pulled me up as well, “let me get you a large glass of wine.

I smiled to myself as I pulled him close and put my arms around his neck, “I’m a lucky one,” I whispered.

“You think you are,” he said as he leaned in, “but I am so the luckiest,” we then kissed.
