15: Cooper
I heard the door open and close. I figured that it would be Draco, getting off work early, which he has done a few times, but when I went to greet him, there stood Jay. I quickly hugged her, still not believing that she was here.
“Calm down, Coop!” she said through my hair, which was getting into her mouth.
“Sorry,” I said, trying to tame my hair back in a band, “Are you back for good?”
“No,” my heart sunk, “I’m just here for tonight. I was going to leave right away, but Draco told me to visit you first.”
“You saw Draco already?”
“Yeah, I went back to the Ministry to help out an old friend,” she put her bag down on the sofa.
“Oh,” I have to admit, my feelings were hurt a little.
“Coop! It’s okay!” she pulled me into another hug, “I’m yours for the rest of the night!”

Coop,
I’m so sorry that I didn’t say goodbye. It hurts me too, but if I didn’t leave before you got up, I would’ve left. I love you! I’ll be back as soon as soon as I find George or Blaise.
Love,
Jay
I couldn’t believe this. This trip she’s on was changing her. Scratch that, her obsession with George was changing her. I mean, it’s one thing to love him, but she belongs in the looney bin for this. I love Jay to death, but she’s not acting entirely like the Jay that’s my best friend. I missed her.
When I walked downstairs, I saw someone in my kitchen. I wasn’t sure who it was, but it wasn’t Jay. I then smelled coffee and pancakes. I smiled to myself. It had to be Draco, and it definitely was. I saw his blonde hair from the stairs as I walked into the room.
“Morning, Rae,” he said as he gently kissed me.
“Morning, Drake,” I said back after kissing him back, “This is quite a surprise.”
“Only the best for my girl,” he smirked.
“Thanks,” I said as I poured a glass of coffee and put sugar and milk into it.
I thought of Blaise making me breakfast at his house when I visited him on holidays. It was so sweet and romantic. I even remember that summer when Draco picked me up. We both thought it would be nice to surprise him, but it was a surprise for us. Blaise was in the kitchen making breakfast for another girl and guy. He was being all flirty with the girl and all chummy with the guy, just like he was with Draco and me. When he saw us in the door way, he was shocked. That was the last time I saw him until he protected me during the Great War against Voldemort.
“What are you thinking about?” Draco asked me, breaking my train of thought.
“Oh,” I said looking back at him, “Nothing.”
“Is this nothing?” Draco smirked and chased me upstairs.
