13: Cooper
Dear Coop,
Everything here is fine. Haven’t seen any sign of George or Blaise, but I’m not giving up yet! The country here is beautiful, but I miss England. I miss the rainy weather. I miss our house, but most of all I miss you! I wish you would’ve came with me. We would have so much fun! Well, I’ll keep you posted!
Miss you lots,
Jay
“What are you reading?” Draco asked me as he hugged me from behind.
“A letter from Jay,” I said turning around and putting my arms around him also.
“And how is she doing in Romania?” He was watching my lips.
“She says she’s doing fine,” It was my turn to watch his lips.
“And that she misses you, right?” He smirked.
“Yes,” I said, leaning in.
He finished the leaning and made our lips touch. It’s been a whole month, and my heart still soared whenever he kissed me. He smiled down at me after we parted.
“So,” he paused, “what do you want to do tonight?” he raised one eyebrow up at me.
“Let’s go to bed,” I gently kissed his lips.
“Tired already?” he joked.
I unbuttoned my pants and slid them off my legs and threw them to the side. I stood there in my shirt and panties as he stared at me. I smirked at him and walked passed him. I stopped at the stairs and looked at him as he started to chase me up the stairs. I giggled and shrieked and jumped onto the bed, where he finished undressing me.

I never felt this way with Blaise. Sex had always caused tension in our relationship. He was ready; I wasn’t. It was the reason we were on-again-off-again. He would want sex then I would refuse. He would break up with me. Then a month or two later he would come crawling back. I took him back every time. I was too much of a fool to realize that I had a great guy right in front of me. When I look back now, I can remember the one time in the sixth year that he tried to tell me that he liked me.
“Hey, Coop,” Draco said as he walked up to me.
I was sitting on the floor outside the Great Hall where I was to meet Blaise, who never showed up that night.
“Hey, Drake,” I smiled up at him.
“Blaise didn’t show again?” he sat down beside me.
“Nope.”
“He’s such a git,” Draco patted my arm lightly, “You need someone who’s,” he paused thinking for a moment, “not a git. Who’s not Blaise,” he then took my hand, “I’ve been here for you a lot lately since Blaise is so bloody stupid. He has a great girl right here.”
“Thanks, Drake,” I smiled at him. He was being so nice.
“I think you should be with-“
“Hey!” Blaise yelled from down the hall.
I ran into his arms and waved by to Drake.

“What are you thinking about?” Draco asked me and put his arm around me.
We were lying in bed, recovering from what just went down.
“About how you tried to tell me that you liked me. You know, back at Hogwarts.”
“How can you remember that is beyond me. I barely remember it myself.”
“I have a great memory,” I said then kissed him passionately.
“I love you, Rae,” he said when we parted.
“I love you too, Drake,” I smiled at him, “I won’t forget this day either.”
