Today was THE day

My exam results.

This one result will single-handedly determine if pass Law school and would be graduating.

It was 12:29, one minute before either the happiest day of my life or the worst.

Beside me, Omar was pacing around, and Baba was hovering over my shoulder, making me even more nervous.

"Refresh the PAGE!!" Omar yelled. Why was he even here? He has his own house now. It seemed like he was always here.

I refreshed the page, and I could see my classmate's grades. I kept scrolling until I found my name.

"Congrats, darling," Baba said, giving me a breathtaking hug.

"Good job, idiot," Omar said, messing up my perfectly straightened hair that I worked so hard on.

Now it was time to look for jobs and study for the BAR.
