07 | what in the Bollywood?

I was going to publish this chapter later but I loved it too much to wait. This is probably my favourite chapter yet

"BHABI," I exclaimed as I ran into her arms.

It was past 10pm, and the party was just getting started.
I ran into her arms

"Why, hello there, meri Jaan, I missed you," she said, messing up my hijab

"Hey, my turn," Zara said as she pushed me away, about to squeeze the life out of Bhabi.
As they reconnected, I greeted the other guests.

"Salaam, I have heard so much about you," Aunty Asma said as she gave me a hug. She seemed so sweet we struck a quick conversation, but then I was then greeted by Rukaiya and Fatima, the cutest twins, the boy had the most encaptivating green eyes and an adorable smile on their faces. They were going to start their Senior Year in high school here, and I could tell we all would get along so well.

"Beta, go help them get the luggage from the car," Mama yelled from the kitchen.
I walked down the stairs, not realizing the person beside me and...

"Ow," I nearly tripped over a rock. Stupid Rock
I was stuck! Why couldn't I move?
Looking over to my right, I see my beautiful dupatta stuck onto some guy's luggage.
Luggage?
What in the Bollywood...

I looked up and saw these beautiful caramel hazelnut eyes, long black hair that even Aladdin himself would be jealous of it was all messy, and oh that bod-

"I'm so sorry here," the beautiful man said as he unattached my dupatta from his luggage.
Before I could stare any long and further embarrass myself, I quickly scurried off to find Bhai.

Walking into the house with some random bags in my hand, I set them aside and took a peek into the living room where all the men sat. I didn't see the Aladdin 2.0, so I walked back into the kitchen.

Zara, Rukaiya, and Fatima were having a conversation. "Yeah, so hasn't found out yet," they all giggled.

"Who never found out what," I asked.

"Zayn Bhai, we took out his hair products from his luggage. I don't think he noticed," Fatima responded.Wait.. so that was Zayn. Well, no shit, sherlock. How did I get into Law school? Who else would he be?

"Wait, who is Zayn?" I asked

"He's our cousin, he's going to be living with us," Rukaiya responded.

"Wait, so who are you guys then?" Zara asked giggling

"My Dad and your Bhabi's dad are close childhood friends," Rukaiya said, not being able to control her giggles.

Not trying to be snoopy, but I couldn't help myself, so I asked, "Where are Zayn's parents?"

"Back home," the twins responded in sync, and they quickly change the subject to what we all were going to do tonight.

Since Aunty and Uncle are moving in tomorrow, instead of letting them stay in a hotel, like the excellent desi hosts we are, we told them to stay at our place.

As the girls continued making plans, I went to go set up the table for our dinner. It was more like a midnight meal as the clock was nearing midnight. That explains the slow metabolism us desi's have...

"Kids, you all go eat in the living room," Rosy Fupi said, passing each of us a plate.I scooped up my food and went to go sit beside my Bhabi... When I noticed who else was at the "Kids Table" chatting it up with my brother...

"Saima did you know Zayn has connections at Robinson, Law Firm," Omar said with a grin.Oh no... of course, the cute stranger has connections to the one Law Firm that I've been dying to get a job at.
