After the crash landing...
The exit opens as Ashoka holds on to Rotta while staring at the sand hills, "Welcome home, Stinky."
She smiles; Elisa, on the other hand, gasps in awe at the sand since she has never seen sand before. She jumps off the edge of the crashed vessel and runs around before she collapses backward by making some snow angels.
This makes Rotta and Ashoka giggle more. She laughs at Elisa's laughter, understanding that she is acting like a youngling who loves playing around, which makes Anakin turn around to see her rolling around.
Who, on the other hand, was relieved to know that she was still intact but frowned upon seeing her injuries reopen through her clean clothes: "Elisa, if you move too much, your injuries will worsen." Anakin jumps down with Rotta now on his backpack and sees her smile falter. He looks down in guilt as he places a hand on Elisa's shoulder and tells her, "When we get you healed up, you can play on the sand, okay?"
Elisa's smile returns before she touches the sand, giving her an idea of how to communicate and ask them; she lifts herself off the sand by kneeling and draws Count Dooku's face in reasonable detail.
Also, putting a question mark next to the drawing, "Yeah, I think it was Count Dooku, Elisa." Anakin affirmed it by gripping his hand into a ball before he calmed down and walked ahead.
Hours of walking...
Anakin, with baby Rotta in his backpack, led Ashoka and Elisa on a trail in the desert non-stop until she (Elisa) felt dizzy by the heat and was sweating a lot when she gave up by collapsing on the sand.
The Jedi and his padawan came to her aid as Ashoka asked: "Elisa, are you ok?" Elisa's response was heavy breathing and burning up; Anakin noticed the symptoms that she was experiencing and said, "She's never been outside. Therefore, she's experiencing her first heat stroke." He was about to lift her, but Ashoka did it by helping Elisa, who weakly whines. Of course, it was going to be a problem for the journey.
So, to pass the time, Ashoka decides to tell Anakin what Master Yoda told her, "Master Yoda has a saying: 'Old sins cast a long shadow.' Do you know what he means by that?"
Of course, the mention of Yoda's words got Elisa so curious that it encouraged her to stand up and continue walking, "It means 'Your past can ruin your future if you allow it.' " Anakin explained: "But you forget that it was Master Skywalker who said, 'I don't want to talk about my past.' "
Ashoka sighed, "Okay, fine." She continues: "There is so much we could discuss here. Like the Sand." Anakin could tell his padawan was trying to improve her boring mode by conversing with him.
Not knowing that Elisa had thought about the word "Sand" until she noticed her feet touched the soft sand, she was intrigued.
She tapped his shoulder, caught his attention, and asked: "Sand...bad?" Her gentle voice showed signs of her shyness because she was an ex-prisoner of Count Dooku; Elisa was curious about the world around her, to which Anakin softened his tone for her sake.
"You could say that." He starts again, "The desert is merciless, Elisa. It takes everything from you." Elisa frowns slightly before gently holding Anakin's gloved hand, making him widen his eyes. He slowly earns her faint smile and returns the gesture softly.
Ashoka comments, "We'll that's a happy thought," She continues, "It won't take us, Master. Right R-2 and Elisa?" As they continue on foot, Elisa starts to feel hungry and a growling sound escaped her stomach, making the Jedi, his padawan, and the droid look at her.
"...hm?"
Anakin chuckled softly, glancing down at Elisa as her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "Looks like someone is ready for a snack," he teased gently, kneeling to her level. "Do you have any food with you, Ashoka?"
Ashoka rummaged through her pack, her brow furrowing. "I think I packed some ration bars," she replied, pulling out a small, wrapped item. "But they might not be the tastiest thing you've ever had, Elisa."
Elisa's eyes lit up with curiosity as she reached for the bar, her fingers brushing against Ashoka's. "Tasty?..." she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Anakin smiled at her eagerness, feeling a warmth in his heart.
"They're not bad," Ashoka said, handing the bar over. "Just think of them as energy food. Perfect for long journeys like this one."
Elisa hesitated for a moment, eyeing the bar as if it were a foreign object. But the growl of her stomach urged her on. She took a small bite, chewing thoughtfully when she stuck her tongue in disgust: "...ew."
The reaction made Ashoka giggle while giving Anakin an amused smile.
After another hour of walking in the desert, a distant chatter was heard.
"We're not alone," Ashoka tells him. A rush of fear enters Elisa as she wraps her arms around the Jedi's arm with a small whimper, making Anakin turn around, and place a hand on hers for comfort, "Stay close to me, ok?"
Elisa nodded in response and looked around.
"I sense it too," He continues, "It's the dark side of the Force."
The distance chatter gets a bit closer.
"Whatever it is, it's coming from the Hutt. Time to split up."
Ashoka raises her hands in the air by telling him, "We'll face it together!" Turning around to face him, only for Anakin to place a hand on her shoulder as Elisa watches the scene: "Not this time, Snips." He explains, "I have a far more important mission for you."
"More important than keeping you alive?"
His eyes fully serious on her, "Ashoka, I need you to trust me on this one."
They stared at each other for a moment as Anakin explained the plan. Then he started to walk away with the Hutlet when Ashoka spoke up, "What about her?" He turns to Elisa, who still clung to his arm. "I'll take her with me; she'll be safe," he reassured Ashoka. "Elisa, let's go." She followed closely beside him.
As Anakin and Elisa stroll along the shoreline, the golden sands beneath their feet glisten in the fading light. However, as they continue their walk, the sun quickly sinks below the horizon, and darkness envelops the landscape.
Before they know it, they find themselves facing a looming floating figure in the shadows—none other than Count Dooku, who appears unexpectedly before them. But not for Elisa, she felt frozen in fear when she's met him once again, "Scared..."
"Don't be scared, everything's going to be fine."
He takes out his lightsaber, in the process, ready for battle, whereas Count Dooku gets off his vehicle as he is a distance apart from them, "Surrender the Huttlet and the prisoner or die, Skywalker."
"She's not a prisoner, her name is Elisa." The minute he said that, the Sith (Count Dooku) starts to electrocute Anakin to which he stops him with his blue lightsaber draining his powers, and waits for him to stop; Once he does, Count Dooku finally takes out his red lightsaber.
Elisa clutched her head, overwhelmed by flashbacks of pain and screams, desperately trying to stop them, while the two Jedis remained oblivious to her suffering as they dueled amidst the gusty winds of Tatooine's desert.
Flashbacks:
" 'Will be safe here, I promise to stay quiet.' " A woman's voice quietly tells her through the echo, as she runs and hides the little Elisa, "A******..."
Suddenly the dark silhouette stabs her with his glowing red lightsaber into the heart, making the child widen her bluebell eyes as tears fall from her face and cover her mouth from screaming.
As she watches the last of her family murdered before her very eyes, she rushes outside to hide behind the stack of hays while crying quietly to herself. In hopes of not being seen by The Sith, unluckily, he could sense her.
"You look just like HER..." He evilly chuckles before using the Force to chokehold her as his apprentice, stands there without saying anything other than stare at little Elisa, who showed a little hint of guilt but nonetheless, held evil in his eyes.
And just as the memories began to go further and further away, a voice called her, ".....a' "
" '....sa' "
" 'Elisa...' "
Flashbacks ended.
"ELISA WE GOTTA GO, NOW!"
Elisa's eyes flew open just as she was being pulled toward the vehicle, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Hang on!" In an instant, they sped off across the sand, leaving Count Dooku behind.
She looked back to see him standing, his gaze—once filled with guilt over her childhood abduction—now locking onto her bluebell eyes started grinning menacingly, mouthing 'you will never survive', making Elisa fearful of him when he began to laugh from a distance.
"Don't look back." Anakin speaks to Elisa through the vehicle as she glances back and grips him tighter.
Upon nearing the Hutt's home, Elisa hears a yell from below and motions him to stop but he didn't which made her worried, as soon as he parks the vehicle, and sets Elisa on the ground, Anakin grabs her hand with gloveless hand since she wasn't safe with a gloved one.
"Listen carefully, Elisa," he gently says. "When we enter, you stay near me, okay?
Elisa, initially scared, slowly grasps his instructions and nods with a little determination. The doors slide open as a couple of robots surround them, "Where's my padawan?" "This way. Oh your weapon." The grey droid awaits for Anakin to hand over his lightsaber to which he does as they enter.
Now, inside the Hutt's home, the grey droid announces their arrival to Jabba the Hutt, "This is the Jedi Knight, as Count Dooku said, your son is not with him."
"Wait--your son is not here? Where's Ashoka?" Panic envelops Elisa as she steps closer to Anakin, who stands protectively before her while others prepare to attack Jabba's orders.
In response, the Jedi swiftly retrieves his lightsaber from the droid and aims it at Jabba, demanding once more: "Where is my padawan?" He dangerously questions him, while one of his henchmen grabs ahold of Elisa and points a blaster directly on the side of her forehead.
"Drop it or she dies!"
Elisa whimpers as tears begin to form in her bluebell eyes that Anakin almost lost his focus but turned his attention back to Jabba who spoke in huttese, as the grey droid who is the translator replies, "You have come to kill Jabba."
"I came here to negotiate." He sternly tells him, "And let go of her, she's with me."
Jabba speaks and his translator answers, "He says we won't unless you kill him but you came here to die." As Anakin glance one last look at Elisa's teary eyes, he softly reassures her that it was going to be alright and before he could attack, a voice welcomes them.
"STOP!" Everyone turns around to see Ashoka, panting tiredly with R2-D2 standing next to her as Jabba excitedly cheers for his son's return, safe and sound; Making the henchmen let go of Elisa, who rushes to his side as well as Ashoka.
The reunion brought smiles to everyone until Jabba ordered their execution. "He says you are to be executed immediately." "WHAT?!?!?" Just as this was about to happen, Senator Amidala contacted Jabba to reveal the truth.
Once it ended, Elisa and the others left Jabba's home, weary and hungry once more. She gently tapped Anakin's shoulder, and he turned to see her tired expression, nodding sympathetically when he noticed something bleeding from her side.
She had opened her wounds, and just when the Jedi Knights: Obiwan, and Yoda's ship landed in front of them, Ashoka shot a worried glance at Elisa's side, "We need to get you some help. You can't stay like this," she urged, her brow furrowed with concern.
Anakin stepped forward, his eyes narrowing. "We'll get you to a med-droid; it's going to be okay."
Obi-Wan and Yoda emerged from their ship, their expressions grave yet focused. "The dark side has stirred, yet still, hope can shine through," Yoda said, his wise eyes piercing through the chaos. "A healer, we find, quickly."
The last thing Elisa saw was a man in his 30s staring down at her before everything turned dark.
