Last Chapter:

He gave me a smile as he said "It seems that your parents will be here in two days instead of 3. My messenger just got back saying he encountered them on his way there."

(Note - Just imagine that girl in the picture as Maria and Kai & Heine are sitting in front of her. Also imagine that they are outside sitting in front of a tree.)

It has been over an hour since I heard the news about when my parents will be arriving here. I was not ready to face them again and I don't plan on facing them so soon either.

Then it came to me; I shall hide out in town and disguise myself once more. Change my name, look, the way I speak, the way I walk, and well just everything about me.

But then it was like someone knew what my plan was because now I am constantly being watched by Heine and Kai. They are trying to keep me from running away, again.

I mean what is so wrong with running away from your problems? Well other than the fact that those problems never get fixed and other things along that line or nature.

Anyways, right now I am watching Heine teach the princes about something but whatever it is was must not have important due to me not remembering. I sigh as I cross my arms and put them on the table, I then lay my head on my arms and close my eyes.

But before I could even fall asleep, I heard Heine say "Princess Maria, are you tried? I can call in one of the maids to get your room ready for you so you can take a nap."

I open my eyes and look at him saying, "I'm just bored if I must say so honestly." Heine then says "We all were just about to head outside for a little while; would you like to join us?"

I then take my head off of my folded arms and unfold my arms as I stand up saying, "Sure." After I said that I walked over to Kai as we all started to leave the room to head outside.

As we are on our way outside, I noticed that some of the guards kept on looking at Heine as if they were ready to attack him if need be. I watch this happen with all of the guards that we pass by but then once we get outside it sort of stops but I can still see that look in the guards eyes.

Once everyone has been doing there own thing and since it was just Heine, Kai, and I because everyone else was off doing what they want to do.

I then look at Heine and Kai saying, "I have a question to ask you both and I would like the truth please because I feel like I deserve the truth on what I am about to ask."

Kai then said, "What is it?" Since I was sitting on the ground, I straightened myself the best I could and said in a clear voice, "Why do the guards keep acting alert around Heine wherever we pass by them?"

Both of them look at each other and then Heine says, "While you were gone, some of my past came to light and the guards do not trust me that much now. Well except for Maxamillion and Ludwig of course."

I then sharpen my eyes as I said, "What about your past came to light?" Kai then was about to say something but Heine cut him off by saying, "Pardon me Prince Kai but I feel as if I should tell her why this is happening."

Kai nodded his head and so I looked at Heine as he said, "In my past I was friends with the King, Kai's father. I would say that we were the best of friends but one night, on the night that Victor was to be coronation to become king. He sneaked out of his room and came to see me. Him and I were stealing food for the poor kids that I took care of back then. So the guards were sent out to look for him and well they found him but he was with me."

I nodded my head as if saying for him to continue and he does, "They tried to take him back and since I didn't know that he was the prince, I tried to defend him but inside I got hurt and put in jail for trying to assassinate the crowned prince. But Victor got me out and built a church for me to teach the children who had no home or place to go."

I then stop straightening my back and look at the ground saying, "I didn't know that, why didn't you all tell me sooner though?"
