I shook my head saying, "I just left them a note, they didn't even know I was gone until the next morning."

I felt Prince Kai hugged me tighter after I said those words, we stayed like this until I was done crying. I pulled away from him saying "Professor Heine would like for you to meet him in the reception hall."

Prince Kai nodded his head and both of us started to walk that way. As we reached the door, Prince Kai said "Maybe I can ask father if we can go visit your family so that we can learn about the people in there daily lives?"

But before I can say anything, Prince Kai had already opened the door and walked in to see Prince Bruno and Prince Licht fighting.

"Know it all!" Prince Licht said and then Prince Bruno said "Irresponsible playboy!" Prince Licht then said "I can't believe I am stuck with adult of a brother like you."

Prince Bruno cut in and said "I can't believe we are cut from the same cloth." The fighting continued on until Prince Kai stepped in between them, that was when it stopped.

Both brothers watched Prince Kai until Prince Kai turned around and said "No bad! Be good! Bruno and Licht are good boys!" I then saw Prince Bruno say "Please forgive me Kai, I completely lost my head."

Prince Licht then said "Yes, same here. Sorry." I could see that Professor Heine was watching the scene in front of him, Prince Kai then continued on by saying, "Your both good boys. We are brothers, today and always. I want us to get along."

As Prince Kai was saying this, he seemed to be shining brightly. I believe I almost fainted at the sight and due to me being distracted by Kai bright light; I didn't hear what Prince Bruno and Prince Licht were saying.

Prince Kai then spoke once more saying, "I want us to get along with you to Professor." Professor Heine said "Why thank you Prince."

The clock then struck 4 and everyone was here but Prince Leonhard, where could he be? "Since it's 4 o'clock, should we go ahead and get started without Leo?" I heard Prince Licht ask Professor Heine.

"No Prince, as I have explicitly stated our first lesson is to be a group endeavor. Since we are clearly short one prince, we must put the lessons on hold for right now." Said Professor Heine.

But Prince Bruno didn't like that idea so he went running to the door saying, "I will go find Leonhard at once!" Prince Bruno then opened the door to see Prince Leonhard sitting on the floor reaching for the door knob.

"Leonhard?" Prince Bruno said, I moved out of the way as Prince Leonhard stood up looking away from Prince Bruno. "I am glad you could make it your highness." I heard Professor Heine say next to me.

Prince Leonhard then walked into the room saying, "Yes well, I'm only here to savor the look of defeat on your face. Besides it not like Licht or Kai showed up."

Prince Licht then said "Hi!" Prince Leonhard looked shocked by Prince Licht and Kai being there. "Wait! Can someone explain to me why you all look so friendly?!"

But Prince Licht seemed to brush it off and say, "Get in here Leo, your late!" Prince Leonhard then said "Just hold on just a minute, earlier today you two were against the royal tutor! What happened to you?!"

Prince Licht then raised up on of his hands as he said "Nothing! He is alright, I think he is nice." Professor Heine then hit Prince Licht's hand off of his shoulder. I then heard Prince Kai say, "Me too."

Prince Leonhard backed up a little saying, "But... what changed your mind?" Prince Licht then gave a peace sign while saying, "For one thing, my lady friends really like having the Professor here."

Prince Leonhard seemed dull at the news, "This is unbelievable. What about you Kai?" he said to us. Prince Kai then looked at me for a moment before saying, "He is quite small. And cute. And cuddly too.  And so soft."

Everyone then watched as Prince Kai started to rub Professor Heine's hand, it was so cute to watch! "Not you too. Can you three become this friendly in such a short span of time?!" I heard Prince Leonhard says as he watched everything unfold in front of him.

Professor Heine then stood up and said "Now since all of the Princes are present, let's begin today's lesson. In the future I will be conducting one on one sessions tailored to your unique individual needs. Rosa will also be joining be during each of these lessons per your father's orders. But first I shall be returning your tests."

Prince Leonhard then said "What! No thanks, I didn't come here to be humiliated! Bye!" But before he could even leave the room, Prince Licht grabbed his arms saying, "Now now, what's the harm? You took the test, you might as well know how you did. Let's find out which one of us has the better score."

Prince Leonhard didn't seem to like this idea because he said "What the hell?! Let me go!" Professor Heine then said in a monotone voice, "Pardon, boys. Bruno, you are first; 100."

Prince Bruno then chimed in saying, "Naturally." Professor Heine continued on by saying, "Next is Prince Kai, 87 points." This time Prince Kai chimed in by saying, "Normal."

Prince Licht then said "Normal? That's good!" Prince Bruno then said "Are you surprised? Kai has always earned high academic marks." Prince Licht looked at Prince Bruno while saying, "He has?"

'Well that goes to show how much Prince Licht pays attention to his surroundings and his brothers.' I thought to myself. Professor Heine then once again continued on, "Prince Licht, 60 points."

Prince Licht then put one of his hands behind his head saying, "I'm in trouble if I can't handle the basics." Professor Heine then grabbed Prince Leonhard's test and said "And finally Prince Leonhard, 1 point."

Everyone in the room was quiet at his score. Then each of the princes looked at Prince Leonhard but Prince Leonhard just looked away from them all. "Brother, there is no way your score is that poor. Even for you it is far too low, let me examine it." Prince Bruno said.

Prince Leonhard tightened his grip on his test before giving it to Prince Bruno, each of the brothers were shocked. I even I saw as I looked over Prince Kai's shoulders to see the paper. "Oh! Good god!"

Prince Bruno said, that was when Prince Bruno's hand started to shake as he said "I know what it is, he must have written the answers in the wrong place?"

Prince Licht then looked over the paper before saying, "It appears not." I looked over at Prince Leonhard to see him put his head down more than it already is.

"Then maybe he was emotionally distraught and was unable to focus." Prince Bruno said, but once again Prince Licht said "But he has been in a great mood."

Prince Leonhard's head went down even more. Prince Bruno then said once more, "I know, you were late for the test and had to rush it." But this time Professor Heine chimed in saying, "You all were given an equal amount of time."

Once again Prince Leonhard's head went down. Prince Bruno's hand started shaking more as he said "Could this be? He answered every question on the test wrong and his only point was a pity point for getting his name right?!"

Prince Licht then decided to pick on Prince Leonhard by saying "Prince Leonhard, more like Prince Dunce!" At that moment Prince Leonhard was still depressed over his answers and said "Don't laugh at me, this is why I didn't want to take the test!"

Prince Bruno then put his hand over Prince Licht's mouth saying, "I'd shut him up brother but I am at a loss for words."

Prince Kai then walked over to Prince Leonhard and said "It's all going to be okay, your a good boy Leo. You're a good athlete." Prince Leonhard said "Thanks Kai."

"Riding, sports, hunting. Your amazing at all of those things." Prince Kai said once more. Prince Leonhard seemed to brighten up at those words. "Your right! I'll worry about getting better in the areas where I have some skill!" Prince Leonhard said.

I sigh at this, I guess that Prince Leonhard heard me because he said "Do you have something you want to say Rosa?" I look at the ground saying, "N-no Prince Leonhard."

He glared at me saying, "Good because I don't want to hear it." I flinched a little at this tone, my hands were gripping my dress; I wanted to cry so badly but I didn't want to show that I was hurt by his words.

Although it is not like he would really care by the looks of things. I then felt a hand touch mine, I look up to see Professor Heine looking at me while whispering, "It seems that you are more hurt than you want to show due to Prince Leonhard's words. I shall make sure to talk to his majesty about this for you Rosa."

I nodded my head as he turns around to face the princes who are talking about Leonhard's test. Professor Heine then said "That is all well and good my prince but the fact still remains that your grade is horrendous."

Prince Leonhard then looks at Professor Heine saying, "I feel shame and it's your fault! If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have taken the test! I knew it, I knew it... tutors are my enemy!"

Prince Leonhard then went sprinting off and Professor Heine has a worried look on his face. Prince Bruno then yelled out to Prince Leonhard, "Leonhard!" and Prince Licht did the same thing, "Leo!" But Prince Leonhard did not stop running away from us all.

After Prince Leonhard was out of sight, Prince Licht said "No one can catch up to Leo, not in full speed anyway." Prince Bruno then said, "Yes , you're right, I feel that he will not return for some time. Professor! I sincerely apologize for my brother."

Professor Heine then said "No, I was unmindful of his feelings." Prince Licht then said "Well, this is nothing special. Leo has always run away from his lessons, weather it be on foot or by horseback."

Professor Heine then said "I've heard, what I don't know is what made him hate studying so much." Everything single one of us had a sad look on our face when Professor Heine asked that question. Prince Bruno then said "It's not strictly the studying, it's the teachers he hates more than anything else."

Professor Heine then said "Please alberate." Prince Bruno then explained further by saying, "When he was young, Leo's first tutor was a man with no patience." The princes and I all thought back to the days when that tutor was still around, it was horrible for Prince Leonhard to go through that.

Prince Bruno then continued on by saying, "Learning was always hard for Leonhard, so the tutor singled him out. It hurt his heart. After that he began to hate all teachers and see them as enemies. Professor, you must understand that my brother feelings are not personal to you."

Professor Heine then said "I know, I am not going to give up on Leonhard."

This seemed to shock Prince Bruno, then Professor Heine started to walk as he said "A teacher's task is to nurture hope; not harm the heart. I am his royal tutor, I will show him that teachers are not the enemy. I promise you that I will break him of this preconception and render him anew."

We all watched as Professor Heine walked over to the window, he opened it and got onto the ledge. Prince Bruno then said "Professor you can't." Prince Kai also said "Professor."

Then we ran over to the window as he jumped off of it, Prince Licht then said "Wait! We are on the 3rd floor!"

Prince Bruno had his arm out the window yelling, "Master!" But all Prince Kai said was, "Oh dear." Once Prince Bruno was done yelling, I handed him a glass of water for his throat.

The guards are already looking for the two of them so all we can do is wait for their safe return to the palace. That was when Prince Kai said "Did Leonhard hurt your feelings Rosa?"

I look at him saying, "Pardon?" Prince Licht then chimed in saying, "You know, when he asked you if you had anything to say about his score on the test?"

My eyes widen as I looked at my hands saying, "The way your highnesses speak to me is up to you, if you wish to speak to me with such hate I have no right to say no. Although Prince Leonhard hurt my feelings, I still think of him as family. Just like I think that for you three."

Prince Bruno then said "But Leonhard had no right to speak to you like that, you are nothing but kind to him! Father will hear about this when he comes back."

I quickly shake my head saying, "Professor Heine is dealing with it, you don't have to worry about me. If anything I should be worried about you all, it's my job after all."

This time Prince Kai stepped in saying, "No, it's our turn to worry about you for a change. You are just like us, you get hurt by what we say to you all the time if it's something mean. Rosa, this can't keep going on."

I start to cry a little, they all care about me but will they feel the same if they learn about my secret. I then got pulled into a hug by someone, I hugged them back.

It was Prince Kai who was hugging me. By now I was crying harder, holding in my emotions is not wise to do but I didn't want them to see me like this.

I then fell asleep in Prince Kai's arms just as two guards walked in to give us a report on where Prince Leonhard and Professor Heine are.

The last thing I remember was being picked up by Prince Kai and him walking out of the room, I think he was heading towards my room.

I then woke up the next morning in my bed with a note on my nightstand, it was from Prince Kai. "I hope you slept well, Leonhard and the Professor got back safely. - Kai" I said as I read the note aloud, it was sweet of him to leave me this note.

I will have to thank him later on when I see him.
