Last Chapter:

When we finally pulled away, I said "I should go tell Kai the great news."

After I left my father's room that he was staying in, I walked around the castle until I found Kai sleeping in the garden like normal.

He looked so comfortable and so I walked over to him and sit down. I then looked at his sleeping face for a few minutes before running my hand through his hair saying "Kai. Wake up."

He didn't wake up at first but when he finally did, I smiled.

Kai sat up as I moved my hand from his hair saying "I made up with my father." He leaned against the tree behind us before looking at me saying "That is great news."

I nodded my head before looking down at my hands saying "I'm going to be leaving again soon." I heard Kai moved a little before a hand lifted my head up and I got to see Kai sitting there in front of me.

He then put his hand down saying "I know but that doesn't mean we won't see each other again. You can come visit again once you're settled in with your family."

I give him a smile before putting my head on his chest saying "I love you Kai." I feel Kai's arms wrap around my back and a kiss on my head as he says "I love you too Maria."

Then the next thing I knew, I was on the ground with my head on Kai's chest. Kai fell backwards on purpose.

I let out a small laugh before closing my eyes and I think that Kai did the same but I didn't bother to open my eyes to see if I was correct or not.

We had both fallen asleep and I knew that because around dinner time, a maid was waking us up saying that dinner was ready and that everyone was looking for the both of us.

I wasn't bothered that they were all looking or waiting for us so they could eat dinner and I don't Kai was either. He kept on falling asleep on the way to the dining room, I found it to be really cute.

But the not so fun part was the fact that I was the one that had to keep waking him up by either shaking him before his head hit my shoulder or pitching him on the arm which I only did once.

When we finally made it the dining room, the first thing that we were both asked when we walked through the doors was by my father. "Where were you two?" was his question.

So when we were both seated, I looked at my father saying "We fell asleep in the garden after our talk."

My father nodded his head before starting to talk to Victor and that was when I heard Licht say "Of course you two were in the garden, why didn't we ask the guards to look there first?" I let out a small laugh before looking at him saying "Slipped your mind."

I then ate my food and listened to the conversations around me until the end of dinner, I didn't feel like talking that much for some reason. I guess, knowing that I won't be able to wake up and go down to breakfast to see Kai and his family bothered me.

I've lived in this castle for a long time and I've grown used to seeing the same things everyday but I know that I have to go back to my family.

Kai is right about one thing though; once I've reconnected with my family, I'm coming to visit him. I won't care about what my parents say, I will want to see him again.

I have no idea how long I will be away from him but I just hope that it won't be long. So in order to make that time frame short, I have to listen to my parents before jumping to my own conclusion and give them time as well with the new me so they can get used to it.

I then took in a breath as I watched the maids load my things back into the carriage; it was the next morning and I was leaving once more. I then looked back at Kai and his family.

I gave them a smile before getting in the carriage and right as it started moving, I waved 'bye' to the Granzreich family.

I then look back at my mother and father with a smile knowing that everything will be alright and that I will see Kai soon.

I will still be updating You're Getting Married?! at the end of the month, I just wanted to update this story because its has been so long.
