"She's gone..." Natsu muttered. It was only an hour before the GMG and Lucy wasn't even in the inn. "I leave her alone for a night, well, half an hour, and she disappears!" He sighed.

"It's strange. Lucy wouldn't just run off like that..." Erza muttered.

"Do you think...?" Wendy asked. She didn't want to ask about her being kidnapped. Crocus was a big City and many people out here would die to kidnap a friend of the Prince.

"Yeah, maybe. But, why?" Gray asked. "It can't only be because she's a friend of the Prince...ransom?" Gray wondered.

"Yeah, but they would have left a note!" Natsu pointed out. "Sad thing is, she didn't even scream..." He said.

"Why's that the problem?" Wendy asked.

"If she screamed, someone from the Palace would have saved her," Erza reminded her. Laxus and his team were only outside and the guards were stations evenly around the inn.

"Well, we could have a plan. But, they did leave a note. It said not to save her for the country..." Gray hit Natsu on the head. Natsu glared at him before talking.

"Well...I'm still doing it." He said bluntly.

"Well, take Wendy and Mira with you! They aren't in the team for the games," Erza said. The new team consisted of her, Gray, Juvia, Laxus, and Gajeel. Natsu didn't like it that he had to miss out on the games, to watch his team win for the first time. But, his friend went first.

"Wow...did not expect that..." Gajeel laughed. He watched Gray and Lyon get ready for battle. Yes, they were going to fight.

Out of everyone in the games, it was the two of them. 

They don't only argue about who's better but about everything. None of them understood why they both do it but they grown to hate each other.

"Yeah...weird..." Juvia laughed as she waved flirtily to Gray. Gray rolled his eyes and gave out a lazy wave.

"You don't look convincing!" Gajeel pinched her cheeks. Gajeel and Juvia were best friends when they were younger but got separated. They found each other again when Juvia and him signed up on the same year.

"Yeah, yeah, can't Juvia be in love?" She asked. Gajeel let go of her cheeks and leant one arm on the stone wall.

"Just shut up and watch..."

Natsu and his new team ran through the streets. They had spoken to Jellal and he said the most suspicious place was the Palace. Natsu could understand why.

Sting.

His name was written all over it. Natsu couldn't help but grit his teeth at the thought of what the monster could be doing.

"You know he's in the arena?" Wendy could read her brother like a book.

"Oh..." He whispered.

He couldn't help but grit his teeth at the thought of what Sting would do after he came back. "Wow...just wow...." Wendy laughed.

"Wendy! Focus!" Carla instructed her. Carla was like a second mother to Wendy. She was sweet at times, then, she would be hard. But, overall, she's amazing.

"Natsu! We need disguises!" Happy cried out. Natsu stopped in his tracks. He was wearing the same peasant clothes from the day before and that wouldn't be enough. He looked to his left.

Gray turned to his Ice Devil Slayer mode and Lyon was getting a spell ready. "See, cousin? This battle would show which one of us are the best at magic!" Lyon said. 

"And I'd win!" Gray smirked before surrounding Lyon in huge Ice blocks. Lyon jumped in surprise before using his one hand to use magic. "What the hell! You're not allowed to use one hand!" Gray warned him.

"That's only for weaklings, like you! I don't get why uncle gave you Devil Slaying Magic if you can't even use one hand," Lyon taunted. He created a swan and jumped on its back. It soared out of the ice.

"Why isn't melting!" A judge yelled in surprise. He was talking about Gray's ice, it was staying in place and nothing was slipping away.

"Ice Devil Slayer Magic enables the caster's Ice to stay until they get rid of it..." Another judge said. The crowd awed in surprise and some fans from Lyon's side turned to Gray's side. 

"I don't even know what we're disguised as..." Happy sobbed. He knew he asked for disguises but...this? He looked down on himself and sneezed. "I think I'm allergic to these leaves!" He moaned.

"Quit moaning!" Natsu snapped at him.

"I actually like mine!" Mira said as she posed.

"That's because you look like a killer," Wendy pointed out. Mira sighed before taking off her mask and putting the real chainsaw on the pavement. The streets were empty and they could imagine how full the arena was.

"I have an idea..." Mira sighed. Her disguise disappeared like her body. She slowly faded back as a guard. "There! Now we'll get in!" Mira laughed.

"Alright, how are we going to get in?" Carla asked her. Mira tapped her chin before looking back at the theatric shop.

"I saw some guard costumes! They don't look exact but the guards are old, they won't notice!" Mira said.

"Yeah, like that's gonna work..." 

It was only 15 minutes until the battle was over. They were both still tied. Gray created an Ice bow and started to shoot. They were both stripped down and he could hear Juvia fawning over him. He was surprised to find out that Lyon actually liked her.

Lyon ran in an arch while he was dodging the attacks. The final arrow hit his foot and he groaned. The ice slowly turned red from his blood. "Ow! That hurt!" He whined.

"Childish much?" Gray smirked. Lyon was stuck with the arrow on his foot. He aimed two other arrows to pin his cousin on the ground.

"My head..." He groaned. Lyon couldn't get back up or rub his head to make it look like he was winning.

Gray put his foot on Lyon's bare chest. "Remember..."

"Gray Fullbuster is the winner!"

"I always win,"

Natsu felt itchy in his uniform. He noticed that the guard's uniforms here were same materials as the one in his Palace. He planned on making it more comfortable. "Hey, you don't go here..." A guard said. He put his staff in the way of the doors.

"Sorry, we came back from our break! We're inside! We come here from the Thunder Palace!" Wendy lied. Happy and Carla were in their owners hoods, trying to not make noise.

"Sorry, I haven't been informed, here," He opened the gates and yelled to notify the other nearby gaurds.
