Natsu had fallen from the tower and Gajeel had yelled his name. Everyone, including the nearby exceeds, were looking up and the black cloaked prince. Happy furrowed his eyebrows and grew out his wings. He flew through the sky and caught Natsu just in time and flew him back to the tower. "Your Highness!" The guards helped Natsu up. Happy grinned and flew back to PantherLily's arms. He held onto his shell and before he could blink, they had crossed the finish line.

"I'd like to thank Happy, the exceed who saved me! As a reward, he will stay with me with his to friends, if he wants," Natsu said through the microphone. Jason, the producer, stuck a microphone into Happy's face. There was a camera facing him now but all he could do was stare at the Prince, high up on the wall. 

"Aye sir!"

Lucy walked through the courtyard. Natsu had given PantherLily to Gajeel as a gift and PantherLily didn't seem to mind. Carla had woven herself into Wendy's life and they adored each other. It was evening and the sun was on the brink of setting. She could see Natsu and Zeref talking outside. Lucy sighed before walking back. She didn't want to give them any grief or harm them in anyway possible. But, she had chosen to stay here because of the way Natsu's treated her and the way he acted towards her.

She wouldn't want something like a trust issue to get in the way of their friendship. She didn't like it that she had to avoid him for the whole day and she thought Natsu must have been mad at her for shoving him so early in the morning.

She rushed back to where they stood. He had left.

'I guess I should have come earlier, stupid doubts!' Lucy thought. She started to head back before anyone noticed she had left. 

"Luce?"

The voice was shaky and worried. Lucy turned around. She ran towards Natsu and tackled him into a hug. She could feel his shaking hands hugging her back. "What did he tell you?" Natsu whispered into her ear.

"He said I should stop seeing you, said that if word got around you were with me, you'll be the laughing stock of Fiore. The worst one was was that you kept me because you thought I was pretty," 

Natsu's hand ended up on her shoulder and he pushed her back but kept his hand on her shoulder. "Number 1, nothing can keep us apart, number 2, I don't care about anything, have you seen me? Number 3, I don't keep you. You decided for yourself and not because I thought you were beautiful." Natsu said. "Not that I find you beautiful! I mean you are! UGH!" Natsu said quickly.

"I get it!" Lucy laughed. "I should go, it's dark," She then said. Natsu saluted a bye before running off.

"Natsu!" Wendy burst in through the doors with Carla in her arms. Wendy watched her brother fly through the papers on his desk one by one. "Did something happen?" Wendy asked.

"No, he didn't go see Lucy this morning, but he's ultra happy!" Erza stated.

"Yeah! Count on it. But, it makes you think about what happened," Gajeel laughed.

"Shut up! What do you want, Wendy?" Gray asked.

"I'm going out to see Romeo, but big brother's in love!" Wendy gushed.

"Yeah, yeah, get ready for your date, okay?" Erza said whilst Gray pushed her out the doors. Gray had been assigned to Natsu when they were only five. Zeref thought it would be a good idea to give Natsu a friend. But now, Wendy was 16 and Natsu's 18, he couldn't believe how things were going so fast.

Natsu finally looked up with a dazed look. He had a slight smile playing on his face and a glint in his eyes. "What's with the look?" Gajeel asked.

"He's gonna sneak off again!" Erza sighed.

"With that answer, I guess you don't wanna come?" Erza shook her head.

"I have to train the guards, they said not to go easy on them," Erza smirked.

"I guess they'll regret that!"

"She's cleaning up great!" Levy said to Jellal.

"She literally won't stop! I've called her over a few times for a break but she's in her own world!" Jellal snorted. Levy rolled her eyes and tried to call her over.

"I've got some yoghurt and smoothies!" Levy tried. No answer. "Natsu's here on a great white horse trying to ask you out!" Levy said. Lucy froze and turned around. She glared at Levy. 

"You should have seen your face!" Jellal laughed. Lucy sighed and said,

"Stop messing with me! I only turned around for the yoghurt, so pay up," Lucy stuttered with a scarlet face.

"Yeah, yeah..." Levy said. She gave her the things she had offered and they sat on the grass. Lucy moaned at the first bite she took. 

"Okay, to celebrate in honour of Happy, Carly and Lily joining us, we'll watch the interview!" Natsu said in the grand living room. He pressed the remote and the lacrima TV turned on. 

"So, tell me how you felt about crossing the finish line?" Jason asked Happy. Happy was adorably holding onto the microphone in between Lily and Carla.

"I couldn't believe it! Crossing the fishing line was the best thing that ever happened to me!" Happy said. Carla shoved her elbow into his chest. Lily just simply shook his head. "I mean finish line!" 

"Ah, yes, any words, Carla? PantherLily?" Jason said with his booming voice.

"You called it a fishing line!" Natsu laughed. Gajeel, nor Levy, were in the room. Everyone had laughed and made Happy seem small.

"It was an accident! I was hungry, they wouldn't let me eat!" Happy pouted.

"That doesn't change what you said," Gray wiped a tear out of the side of his eye.
