I could feel the knife against my skin, ever so slightly away from cutting into it, when Ghost pulled Gregory off of me.

"Hi!" Ghost screamed as he punched a very confused Gregory in the face. Gregory staggered back and held his nose while Ghost helped me up to my feet.

"What are you doing here!? I thought I left you outside the city!" I exclaimed.

"Well," He started while panting, "I ran all the way over here with what I'm guessing is the last of the LBPD and the beanie duo." I looked to the side and saw four officers, Spooker, and Colon.

"You had to bring the dim wits?" I questioned.

"I didn't have much a choice," He shrugged.

"LOOK OUT!" (Y/n) screamed. I pushed Ghost away and jumped back, just barely dodging Gregory's attack.

"Why can't you just die!?" Gregory screamed stabbing at me again. I dodged when the officers, Ghost, and beanie duo started firing at Greggs. This only seemed to further anger him. He quickly turned around and went for the officers, moving too quickly for them to react. He sliced open the throat of the female officer. Her blood poured out in a steady stream, spraying on Gregory and the uniforms of her fellow officers. Her body fell to the ground with a horrified expression frozen on her face, though her eyes had rolled back into her head.

"Doodle! Noooo!" Ghost screeched as her body twitched on the ground. The other three officers tackled Gregory to the ground and held him there. Spooker and Colon decided to drag Doodle's body away to see if there was anything they could do for her... I mean, I guess their hearts are in the right place, but her neck is wide open, and there's no way her jugular didn't get severed.

"Run, while you still can!" An officer I recognized as Graden yelled to us as he and the other two officers kept Gregory pinned.

"Let me go!" Gregory screamed as he fought the officers. Ghost grabbed my hand and started running away from the fight.

"What are you doing!? I need to fight him!" I yelled as I tried to pull away. He tightened his grip to the point it really hurt to struggle.

"Not like this," He mumbled as he led me down a darkened ally. We came to a dead end and Ghost let go of my arm, and turned to face me.

"Listen, I... I know what this will mean, but you have to possess me again," Ghost said. My eyes widened and (Y/n) quickly took over before I had a chance to reply.

"You can't!" She said, quickly taking a few steps closer to Ghost, "You'll die!"

"I know but, it's the only way Jimmy can return to his full strength without the body Gregory stole," He said taking her hands into his.

"Please don't do this," (Y/n) whispered with tears in her eyes. "There has to be another way."

"Oh, Jimmy!" Gregory yelled in a singsong voice, "Where are you my dear brother!?"

"Let Jimmy come back," Ghost said, letting go of her hands and taking a step back. (Y/n), feeling heartbroken, let me take back over.

"Are you sure about this? Your odds of a good afterlife aren't, well, good..." I said, wiping the tears from my eyes. He laughed and nodded.

"Yeah, I know..." He said, looking down at his feet for a second. "... Promise me you'll take care of (Y/n) while I'm gone."

"Of course! I... I know I sort of put us all into this mess when I killed her, but I'd never wish her harm again," I said sincerely. Ghost nodded, then took a deep breath and held his hand out to me.

"It was good to know you two," He said with a smile, "Even if it was only for a little while." I smiled back, and (Y/n) hugged him one last time.

"Go for the light when you leave, will you?" (Y/n) asked. Ghost hugged her back.

"I'll do my best for you (Y/n)," Ghost replied. They separated and I had control again.

"See you around Ghost-boy," I said. He laughed and nodded.

"You too, Crazy-Casket," He replied. We shook hands, and he was gone.
