1. Consequences of being the Only Potterhead 

What I'm going to tell you is one of the consequences of being the only Potterhead around. Believe me this happened to me yesterday.

So, yesterday at my literature class, we were learning about John Donne and his unusual metaphorical language. (the teacher's words; not mine)

When we came across his "Love's Alchemy" poem, and the teacher started explaining about alchemy and its history. And well, he sort of said something like this;

"So you remember in Alchemy and the-- sorry, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone, we come across some details related to Alchemy don't we?"

And I, being a Potterhead, perked up my lazy ears to hear what he said. Of course! Any lesson is interesting, if something Harry Potter related is mentioned!

"The Philosopher's stone is the symbol of Alchemy, a stone that can turn turn any metal into gold! It is also called the "Elixir of life" Don't you remember these?" our teacher asked, hoping for some sort of answer. 

Alas! No one even tried to talk! How could they do that? 

Hell, I  tried to my best not to fangirl about it. 

See, if you are at least interested in the fandom, you could atleast have given a small smile! But no! Not those people in my class! They didn't know what Philosopher's stone is! No; scratch that They didn't even know what Harry Potter is!

Those Bloody Muggles!

Okay, I sort of got carried away didn't I? Sorry about that!

So the conclusion: Being the Only Potterhead around, sucks!
